I have personally benefitted since the discovery of Gleevek, an oral cancer chemo. It has had very few adverse side effects. I can manage the worst - Montezuma's Revenge - with over-the counter remedies. The upside is that I maintain my weight under 100 lbs. Blessed with a curvaceous body, I think I look better now than I ever have and with the exception of my current allergies, the cancer seems to be in remission. Going to the oncologist's this week - please say a little prayer for me! The last two CT scans were "clean." Didn't take my scan this time...he's not going to be happy but I figured what I don't know can't urt me - then it can it can a whole lot if I wait too long to gfind out if the tumors have reappeared. STRESS causes the tumors to grow...yes, Dear, I know he will demand a scan and rightfully so....most of all I don't want you to think that I don't appreciate all the work you do to help combat "the big C". All your efforts are soooo very much appreciated.

We lost my Grandfather to Cancer, my Aunt and my sister have had to have treatment, and I recently have been diagnosed with VIN, which is a form of pre-cancer. My surgery hasn't been scheduled yet, and I pray that it won't turn into Cancer. Asking for prayers from the Bolton Buddie's here too!
