Jack Sparrow Shoot

Working with Andy, Akiva and Jorma on the Jack Sparrow digital short was one of the highlights of my career and most memorable experiences of my life. For the few people on the planet who might not know, these guys are brilliant, funny and beyond super talented. They made me do
things I never would have expected to be comfortable with and I'm so glad I did. Truly grateful to be a part of this project and CANNOT WAIT for the chance to work with the guys again. Now Back To The Good Part.

You singing on the beach is "our man" and then you bust out in "multiple personalities" AND genders!!!!!!!!!!! A one man show for sure!!!! I will never look at another pirate the same again without laughing hysterically for the rest of my days!!! I can't get the visual out of my head of you "popping up" in the video with that dang pirate hat on and your cheshire grin filling the screen!!!! TOO DANG FUNNY!!!!!!!

yesterday I saw a video posted by Kenny G on my facebook news, which had a very funny Pirate - and I posted it on my page.

I didn´t see and hear all of it, but coming from you and Kenny G, I know it is trustable and good.

Also made a little joke speaking about the nice mixed subjects I have posted there. - My dear Albert Einstein´s and Carl Sagan´s videos, Brasilian great singers ( Gal, Betânia, Tom Jobim ), the wonderful Eva Cassidy, great Keith Jarrett, glorious Sinatra, National Geographic articles, etc.

And the video had one beautiful voice which I couldn´t, of course, recognize... :-)

My fears were totally unfounded and I admit it......I was wrong!! There I've said it!! Ha Ha!!

I have to say that I cant get that blooming song out of my head now and have been singing it all day!! My parrot is begiining to sound out Jack sparrow!!!

Seriously, I absolutely love what you've done. Its a brave and couragous move and one that will only serve to heighten your profile. Good on you!!

Comment by Nicole on May 9, 2011 at 6:16pm: The song had a great beat but I have to say I was disappointed Michael. I have been a fan from the very beginning. I was taken back by the language that exists in this song. Your voice is a gift from God and you don't need to honor him with the lyrics but I am sad to say that after watching this that I am shocked. I would expect lyrics like this from Eminem but not from you. You have always been a rocker with a sultry voice that sang about love, then came into a new season with the Classics and Sinatra. I don't think you would find Sinatra or Nat King Cole singing the f word and if they had they would have lost me as a fan too. You have been successful and given back through your charity but this really went over the top for me. I hope you will read these comments and realize that as an artist you are affecting a generation with the messages you choose to share. I have a hard time seeing the man who sang Nessum Dorma so beautifully connected with the lines of this song. I can only hope and pray that you will recognize that this isn't the artist you have always portrayed and that you will determine to go back to your roots. You have loyal fans who will follow but if this is the future path you are taken- you will have to do it with one less fan. Truly disappointed and saddened.
