Just coming in girls as obviously see a few in and to let you know I cannot find out anything more. Yesterday a girl reported in the forum section here that she had been in touch with ATG TICKETS and had been informed that e-mails would be sent out this morning explaining about the cancellation and telling people what to do, i.e. if you wanted a straight swap of seat, refund or exchange. As it was ATG Tickets I went on assumption that it related to all the venues concerned. So far, today, I have heard of no one receiving such e-mails from any venue. What I am still hearing is people are making contact with the venues because in the official announcement from Kong Events that is what you are told to do but, even TODAY, 1 HOUR AGO, venues are still saying they no nothing about cancellation. Seemingly the theatre in Woking, from the visual appearance outside, still looks as though show is going to take place tomorrow.
Haven't said anything anywhere on a personal level but I am in same boat as everyone else and waiting to hear about shows in Liverpool and Sunderland where I was going. Obviously because Sunderland not rescheduled then it is straight refund but for Liverpool as everyone is saying and as I have checked, a Saturday, night forget it. Hotel I had previously booked to take in 12th Feb's date and which had booked for 2 nights is costing practically same plus it is non-refundable on a Saturday. Having lost money previously because of that I do not book any hotel now unless I get refundable so, hey ho, no matter what, I ain't going to Liverpool and I think Michael and Kong Events are going to find a lot of people with the same view.
To finish with on my tuppence worth, there are plenty of beautiful theatres, in beautiful surroundings, that could hold such an event NORTH of Liverpool and yet two venues that are added, in place of those that can't be rescheduled, are in the same locale as two of the original venues which gives FOUR out of five in the SOUTHERN region and in particular the London region .... why ?????????????? That move to me doesn't half pose plenty of questions.
Here is hoping everything is sorted out soon and obviously, if I hear anything new will let you all know.

I called ATG tickets yesterday evening. They told me they hadn't officially been noticed by Kong Events but that would happen shortly. I should call back on Wednesday. Anyway, the good news is that you'll get a total refund if you can't make the new date.
I've popped on for a quick moan because that's all that's left me. I was wondering about the places down south and whether to go for one of those, but I know the expense would be far too much. I don't want to be in Liverpool on a Saturday night - cost a fortune and I don't know my way around any of it.
I can't believe MB's coming to the UK and I can't go! I've always gone in the past, but then again he's always played at M/c in the past. I think it was Sylvia that mentioned MB's been on Twitter apologising and explaining why but I don't go on there. Right, I'll wait and think how lucky those people are that can go.

Maybe Kongevents and MBSINGS Himself, need to make a def statement. Majority of us are longtime fans, spent a lot of money over the years, I was over moon to get tkt for Christmas, front row, meet and greet! Reluctant to rebook! I actually had tkt from first concert in 1991 to get signed!!
Hi Diane,
yes like you, I got email saying hope you looking forward to trip!! Guy at ATG was , well we haven’t been told it is off so I can do nothing, have you had email off us!! I said Yes, saying hope I was looking forward to it!!! Liverpool an option, but not when i looked at hotels, Saturday night, Liverpool or Manchester, just go silly prices, football, concerts hen/stag does, they charge premium! So disappointed, as had meet greet package, and after nearly nearly 30 years of concerts, was SOOO looking forward!!!! Xxx Hope all gets sorted, but no confidence in Kong Events.
Regards

I came across a ticket site - forget the name of it now - but it still has tickets for MB in the UK this February and 3 of the theatres sold out! I emailed Kong yesterday and in the reply (from Nigel) today they sent the exact same speech they keep saying. So tired of reading the same thing and now I've got to tackle ATG on their website! To make matters worse I've just received an email from the Opera House, Manchester asking if I'm excited about the concert on the 11th. Talk about rubbing it in! So the only thing left for me is to tackle ATG but won't just yet. I'm slightly tempted to go for the one in Liverpool in November but common sense says don't. So disappointed. di xx
Im so so sorry for every one that was going to these shows . I wanted to come desperatly but couldnt get any low cost flights from where I am in italy. It was going to get extremly expensive and complicated to come and with hotel aswell so i reluctantly and with a very heavy heart decided to not book. Good Job for me i didn't book as i would now be loosing alot of money . Hopefully it will go ahead in November. I will try to book for then & ive got more time aswell to sort flights out etc.
I do think that these shows "An Audience With" were very poorly advertised and really hard to book once fans did know about them. The venues themselves did not promote them either and loads of people were completely unaware of them. Perhaps now there is a lot more time, Kong Events will work hard to promote these unique exciting experiences with the great man himself. I am relieved that the concert I have booked for is still going ahead in November and not cancelled.
I am deeply saddened that this has happened and with such sort notice. I had worked overtime for the past few weeks to enable me to finish work early on the day to travel to Woking. If i hadnt seen it one facebook i would have had no idea because according to the New Victoria theatre they know nothing about this. It really bad business cancelling something with only 4 days to go especially for peope who are travelling and booked days off, hotels etc. Think Kong events need to eat some humble pie this is not what i would expect from someone like Michael who has been in the business for such a long time
