I'm supposed to be going to the show in New Oxford Theatre in 2 days time, and there has been absolutely no notification at all of a cancellation.

Does anyone know if it is cancelled completely, rescheduled or going ahead as normal?

I see the 12th is cancelled so I've lost the price of a hotel booking. None of the other venues are within a reasonable distance. Thanks for confirming, I'll try and get a refund from the theatre.

If I hadn't have found out by chance on fb the day before the show that February 7 was cancelled I'd have already left to travel to Woking as the theatre didn't telephone until Tuesday at 1.45pm. I've lost money on a hotel booking, so as well as being disappointed I can't believe the disorganised mess this is. The theatre are going to telephone me again today to let me know whether or not the show will be on November 12. As yet no phone call. Does anyone know for sure if that date is confirmed?

Please check the main Tour page for the dates that were just updated and revised. I know this is frustrating to everyone...including Michael because he knows how frustrating it is to his fans.  You should be hearing from the venues that are no longer having shows to get your refund.  If you don't hear contact that venue.  Following are the new venues and dates:

Manchester Opera House - Manchester, UK  November 9th

Liverpool Empire - Liverpool, UK November 11th

Princess Theatre - Torquay, UK November 13th

Aylesbury Waterside Theatre- Aylesbury, UK November 16th

Sunderland Empire - Sunderland, UK November 19th

I posted on my Facebook page today, a comment relating to Sylvia’s on here!

So okay these audiences have been rescheduled for November in three of the original venues, your tickets are valid or if prefer can opt for a refund. Manchester and Sunderland cannot be rescheduled, possibly because the theatres have no empty slots in November. So...someone now expects us to believe, that from Liverpool all the way up to Scotland in ALL towns and cities there’s NOT a single theatre that can hold the events...Oh c’mon!!! On Kong Events Facebook page Scottish fans were crying out for a Scottish venue as even Sunderland would be a trek and expense for fans desperate to purchase tickets. If and when my refund is given, Liverpool in November is my nearest option but still 130 miles away. Of course then there’s travel costs and expensive hotel funds to find, so what I’d really like answered now is... why are the new venues that replace Manchester and Sunderland also close to London?? That makes 4 out of 5 venues down south, so if you’d like to attend an audience with Michael Bolton be prepared to travel. Where is the fairness to fans, in these venues being all grouped practically together apart from LIVERPOOL!!!

Wake up and smell the coffee organizes, that fans from the top of Scotland would have to travel anywhere between 500 to 700 miles to one of these new venues. ( They’re NOT going too) not every fan is as loyal as that!!!

Sorry to say but this is well and truly a shambles, I will travel hundreds of miles but so many other fans won’t because they can’t afford too. Please please before tickets go on sale again, take a look at where you’ve placed the new venues...

I also got a text from Woking theatre this morning to say the show had been cancelled tomorrow and that I could either have a full refund or exchange for the new date in November. However, I then got a call from the theatre earlier this evening to say that they now have to give a full refund as they have also cancelled the shows in November and will not be going ahead with this tour at all?!

What is going on?!

Have posted over on the forum, but will repeat here that chap from ATG told me yesterday evening they were aware that event had been cancelled, having been informed earlier that day.  I have a ticket for Woking which will be a straight exchange for the same seat in the same row, but for the November date. He didn't believe new tickets would be issued, and they were to be emailing those who bought on line with all the details, which presumably would include how to get a refund if desired or to confirm the seat is still required.  No email has arrived as yet, but I have arrived home to a message on the answer machine from the theatre, clearly stating the event tomorrow night will not now take place.  If Michael has said on Twitter that he will tour in the U.K. In November then maybe there will be concerts in the major cities, and these audience events will be extras.

It's all been atrociously handled; you would have thought that the theatres would have been told first, and there will be penalties I am sure for their loss of associated revenue and expenses now being incurred for them having to contact the ticket holders direct.  What's more upsetting is we are getting different stories from the same sources, no consistency - rubbish customer care all round.

An up-date folks.  Woking are NOW getting in touch with all those who have purchased tickets and they are doing so by e-mail, text and phone calls.  They are advising of cancellation and advising how to get refund if you wish.  They still have had no "official" word on the date rescheduled and therefore, cannot advise on that.   Have received this information on an up-date post I put out on my page on FB and which I directed to Kong Events, Michael Bolton and Gold Star Promotions.

For information Kong Events official announcement on cancellation states that Woking has been rescheduled to 12th November.

I've had a reply from ATG Tickets on Twitter, and they've said 'We are still waiting on official notice from the promoters. We will contact all customers as soon as possible.'

I was going to Oxford, but their Twitter did not reply.

The Woking Theatre has already posted on Twitter that their show is cancelled.
