It has been no less than heartbreaking for me to witness and know the deep pain and loss that is being experienced by so many families due to hurricane Sandy. I am planning on re-focusing current fund raising immediately and committed to try and best help with relief efforts for my beloved neighbors in my home state of CT, New York and New Jersey. We always pull together for each other in our times of crisis. I pray for the safety and recovery for all who have been hurt and are suffering any loss.  MB

I find it especially heart warming to know that you pray for others in times like this.  You have often been in my prayers.  I can't help but wondering how all of those folks are doing now.  Having gone through a natural disaster myself I know everything is not put back together in a week or even a month.  My prayers are still with them as well.

Blessings to you.

Very sad to know about this tragedy and all the terrible pain and loss it has caused.

Wishes for all the best possible recovery.

These are the tragedies human beings can hardly prevent. But so many others are right within their reach.

Hope everything will get better very soon, MN

Haven't been by to see if your place sustained any damage, but just ran into someone who lives a block away who is still without power, etc.  That neighborhood sustained some major damage and lines are still lying in the roads.  Always appreciate what our Hometown Boy does for his fellow Nutmegers and Westporters.  Thanks for thinking of all of us back home while you are on the road on the far side of the world.  Bless you.  Cheers, Amie  PS.  Hope The Pretty House is all fine for you & your family!

Have been concerned about your family, friends and home following the wrath of Sandy.  Hopefully, everyone is safe and your home was spared any major damage from wind or water.  It's heartbreaking to see so much devastation to so many in such a widespread area.  Bless you for all you do to help those less fortunate, Michael.  Be safe.  Hoping to see you on the road before long.  With love and affection to my favorite guy, always ...
