I didn't manage to see the interview but here I am wishing all who are at the moment in the process to cure this unwelcome disease (cancer)hoping everything goes well for them and will soon be rid of it!

I lost two sisters Grace and Mary from breast cancer, my mum and recently my brother John who both passed away from colon cancer. It destroys our bodies slowly and wreck our families! We miss them all very much!

Last Saturday I was very glad to see the play Calendar Girls at our very historic city Valletta at the Manoel Theatre. I would like to thank my brother Tony for getting the tickets and went along with him. We also bought the 2013 calendar which we both are very happy with as it was also part of the donation.

Best wishes to you all,

Jayne from Sunny Malta. xxxxx

I never seen the interview BUT

I don't think I know any one person who has not loss a loved one from Cancer.

A dear friend of our's lost his fight just over a month ago now and boy did he give it a fight but alas, it does what it does best, takes over our bodies and distroys us slowly and cruelly until we cannot fight anymore.

Another friend lost her 2 year old Grand-daughter in the same month and another friend of ours lost her 21 year old Grand-son as well last month.

But this is not just people I know it is all of us, I think most of us would know someone who is trying to fight this disease.

For all those that have a Loved one fighting Cancer I pray they can beat it...

Yes Michael I wish they would find a cure.

Hugs and Blessings to you all

Love Dianna xxx

I don't know how to message or put a post on here, but I wanted to share some how or another. I have been a fan since I was 15 years old (now almost 33). I loved your spot on Two and Half Men! I also love to watch E!News and I saw your interview the other day on breast cancer and how it hits so close to home. I never knew this about you and I just want to say thank you for being one more person who stands up to cancer. I lost my eye to cancer when I was 2 years old. My dad last year was diagnosed with brain cancer at age 55. I don't know how much time I will have with him, but he is fighting every step of the way. He will be flying here along with other family to be at my graduation on December 15th. I dropped out of high school but, now I will be graduating from Sul Ross State University with Honors and Magna cum laude for my father to see me walk across the stage. If I could afford to book you for my reception party I would in a heart beat! Unfortunately, every person/small band I've asked is already booked. My dad is one of the biggest music fans I have ever met and I think it is why my sister and I both have a love for it too. I just want to thank you for your commitment to cancer and let you know how much it means to me. I have been an advocate for cancer research and domestic violence because of my experience with both. Knowing you are committed to making others aware of such important causes makes your music even more special to me. I wish Longview was just a little closer to Alpine so I can see you on the 16th. My family is from the Nacogdoches area, but they will be in Alpine for my graduation.  May God bless you for all that you have done and will continue to do in the future. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Wonderful interview, Michael - thanks for taking time to make more people aware that cancer is no longer a death sentence and CAN be cured ... early detection for both men and women is so important.  Hopefully those near and dear to you that were mentioned are on the mend and that This Close continues their fine work in Joel's memory with cures for all on the horizon.  Bless you for all you do, dear man.  Safe travels and good health to you always.  With love and affection to my favorite guy ...

Thank goodness it was rebroadcast! We had some storms in the area and we lost our satellite signal earlier in the evening. Wonderful interview, Michael!

I lost my very best friend from ovarian cancer in 2002. Till today it is hard to believe she is not with us any more. Thank you MB for being so sincere in your support for cancer research and such a great ambassador for women and their rights.

Yes this was a very well done interview.. Michael is so sincere in his support for funding for cancer research.I did not know Ms. Helen (his mom) is a survivor...He cares and really wants to get rid of this disease. I remember him talking at several This Close events over the years with that same determination and sincerity..It is so important for women to get their check-ups..Michael talked about that so if there is anything, it is detected very early..Thank you MB for your willingness to continue to speak out on behalf of women and the fight against breast cancer..
