Hi Nicolette, thank you for your comment sweetie. I must say I'm patting myself on the back with that one! Well, if Gail doesn't like it, she could send it back to me... ;D I'm kidding, I know she'll love it and glad you like it too Nicolette. Take care sweetie and thanks again for posting. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie <3
Wow!! Sylvie I am speechless so very very beautiful!! How sweet of you, I am sure Gail will love it!!
Big hug, Nicolette xx
Okay, this last one is to show the indentation I built in order to lift out the bucket. Inside the well are beeds I couldn’t sew on, because I realized, after I bought them, that they didn’t have holes, but they worked out perfectly for this project. Enjoy! Love, Sylvie <3
P.S.: Don’t tell Gail, I want it to be a surprise!
Hi friends, well, I was going to keep this one under wraps until the lucky recipient got it in the mail, but it’s too darn epic for me to just sit on it! Lol This one, as some of you may know, I’ve made for our darling Gail, to thank her for everything she does for all of us and has done, always going above and beyond the call of duty for Robin R and I, since I’ve known her. You may now understand why I didn't have time to make it for her birthday in September. ;D It’s from both Robin R and I, since Robin was sweet enough to help me get the music box movement. I first wanted to make Gail a similar one to Michael’s, but since I had trouble finding a “Georgia” movement, I found one that plays “A dream is a wish your heart makes”, which Michael did sing in ’91:

So I had to work on either the “dream” or “wish” theme and decided on a wishing well. Gail’s favourite colors are olive green and blue/aqua so I worked them in. The crank actually works and as you’ll see, the bucket is removable and everything is made from scratch, except for the plastic containers and it rotates on a turn-table. I put gold “coins” in the well and put gold backing behind the letters in the bucket, so she knows she’s worth gold to us! :D Enjoy everyone! Thanks for your interest, hugs to all, Sylvie <3
Thanks Nicolette! I think I'll ask my son to place the 4 pictures on the 4 corners and take it to be printed in color! :D Thank you for sharing my moment sweetie, take care. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie <3
