Wow Kathy, stop it or I’ll get a swelled head! Lol Thank you again sweetie. :D Sorry to hear you’ve had a rough week but glad this made you smile... I need to try and compose short descriptions for my early ones, because there are 6 in the same picture. I learned a lot on making those, like what works and what doesn’t work, box size convenience, materials etc. I’ll see what I can do on the weekend. Take care Kathy and thanks for passing on your smile! :D Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie <3
Hey Kathy, good to read you here sweetie! Thanks so much for your praise girl, I guess I have a lot of imagination... :D Plus I'm a sentimental fool too... :D I've never actually made a music box for hubby alone, but I guess that counts, doesn't it? Oh, BTW, I forgot to say it plays "Here comes the bride" or Richard Wagner's wedding march from the opera "Lohengrin". Who knew that came from an opera? Well anyway, thanks again sweetie, I really appreciate it. Sometime this week, I should upload a pic of my earliest music boxes including the very first one I've ever made and you'll see they were a lot simpler. Take care Kathy and have a wonderful weekend. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie :D
Hi everyone, I was able to get more pictures taken today so will attempt to upload at least 2 more. This one is kind of self-explanatory: I made it with my wedding cake topper. :D I just fastened it with ribbons and white and red ribbon roses, to a wooden plate screwed on to the wooden box, on a turntable. Since the back was pretty plain, I thought I'd add the veil tied up with the ribbon and roses too, but thought I'd find a way to leave the little heart window behind the couple. :D The top rose you see in front above the couple was part of the first trinket my hubby ever gave me: it was a tiny snowglobe but it nbroke, so I had to save the rose. :DSo there you go, enjoy! Take care and hugs to all, sincerely, Sylvie :D
Thank you sweet Nicolette for checking it out and for your kind words! I had sent a PM to some of my friends to let them know, but I guess not everyone can check them every week. I had read on many people's pages blogs they had started, so since my son couldn't upload more pictures on my profile page, I thought this would be a good idea. :D I had help from my computer teacher a few weeks back and it all worked out! Thanks again Nicolette, take care. Big warm hugs, sincerely, Sylvie :D

Hi Sylvia and Diane, aww, you're so sweet, thanks to both of you, glad you're enjoying it! I had read that some people had blogs and I have a few ideas for some, but since my friends had asked about my creations, I thought it would be a good start. :D As I've said earlier, I just need help from photographers and I'll upload more as soon as I can, thank you again both! Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie :D
