Hi everyone, well I hadn’t realized it had been so long since I posted here, but in my defense, I’ve been a bit busy... :D All right, today, I’ll be posting pictures of a music box I made for my friend Kathy T. For it to be personalized, I knew I had to include a star motif, I’d remembered her favorite colors and other elements she’d mentioned over time. Hi Sylvia, aww thank you, glad you like him/her. :D Safya did seem to enjoy the music for now: she’s growing up in a very musically inclined family. Well, I didn’t expect for it to be this size frankly, lol but even with the smallest wooden box for the musical movement, I had to put enough padding to soften the corners etc, so I had to accommodate. ALL the pictures are beautiful and that bear is exquisite ......he is just absolutely gorgeous and definitely one little bear you just want to hug !!! :)   Certain he will take pride of place in Safya's bedroom as well as in her heart Sylvie.   Glad too that you did get picture taken holding for, as you say, it gives you the true size of the bear and he sure ain't very small, in fact, that is a fair sized bear !!! lol  He is gorgeous and thanks so much for sharing him with us Sylvie....thanks !!! :)   Have to add that like something else which is in picture, off to the left...LOL

Hi everyone, well here I come to share my latest creation and first time experiment. I made a musical teddy bear for my granddaughter. I made it from lilac colored fake fur I had covered rocking chair cushions with. Since I was making it for my granddaughter, I wanted it to be washable, so I had to figure out a way to remove the music box and I did. So I'll post 3 pics of the bear and in my next post, one of myself with the bear so you have a better perspective of its size. It's a little weird spending so much time making something and then giving it away, although it seems to be more the rule than the exception  lately... :D Anyway, enjoy!
