Brilliant !!! this young lady deserves support for her courage to speak out, god bless her as women everywhere have the right to freedom and free speech regardless of religion / beliefs.

May she continue to thrive and get better here, as Sylvia Doughty pointed out her father has a position within the Pakistani Consulate in Birmingham. God bless her and her family and hope they enjoy their time here in the UK experiencing the life that they should be living in their native Pakistan but, can't due to it's outdated laws etc especially those relating to women!!,

Wonderful choice Michael!! Women here in our country need to listen up and realize some of our politicians have some very close beliefs as to those in Malala's country. For example....we are being told a woman can STOP a pregnancy from occurring after a  "legitimate" RAPE!!!! Shameful behavior from a senator in our country in 2102 (when he made the STUPID comment!!!) Women everywhere must protect themselves and each other. We can all move forward with the help of Malala and bless our youth who move from their untainted hearts and souls for they truly are our future!!! The dinosaurs like that senator will eventually become extinct. Thank you Michael for your infinite compassion for women and children who often have no voice.....even in our "modern" country.

Malala is a very special person and very brave. You chose the most appropriate person in the world to be your hero. Atrocities will continue to exist in this world but with people like Malala and you Michael, it is hoped such atrocities will be reduced if not eliminated altogether.

I am quite impressed she is so young but really brave! I am also happy that you are interested in the life of other people:)

You are also my hero because  you care about world affairs, that's really nice.

And this is why I hate to watch the News! This world we live in is crazy! Everyone anywhere should be able to go to school! I hope she comes to America!

I truly hope her act of courage won't be forgotten and I wish her the power and wisdom to fulfill her dreams and become the exponent of all those girls that know in their little hearts that they should have the right to a better education and ultimately to a better life !

Malala is a true inspiration ... may she continue to recover from her injuries and lead the fight for women in her country and others in similar plights throughout the world.  Bless you, as well as Malala, Michael.  Continue to make our spirits soar.  With love and affection to my favorite guy, always ...
