New Update from the Road (pt I and II)
Pt. I
Hi everyone!!
The las vegas performance for kost fm, their contest winners and guests at Caesars palace was completely incredible!! Performing outside in what was meant to be an intimate setting became so powerful and surreal.
The architecture of Caesars palace itself to the surrounding tall buildings under a beautiful Nevada sky made the evening feel huge for me. We had a lively audience. People from all over the country were there, as well as some fans from Sydney, Australia, where we performed a few weeks earlier.
The audience was a complete pleasure to perform for.
Mark and kristin the hosts for KOST FM set the tone for the show. They were consummate professionals (Mark was celebrating his 25th year at KOST FM, which is an almost impossible achievement in our business) and were perfect interacting with the audience and running a question and answer session with me. Really gratifying night for me and I believe all of us!! Stay tuned. Lots of travel and events coming up!! Be very well.

Pt. II
One detail that didn't escape me during our concert was the fact that KOST FM, which was one of the first huge adult contemporary stations in the country to support me as an artist has been playing my latest single, the song I wrote with Lady Gaga "Murder my Heart", 23 years after they played my first single "That's What Love is All About" and probably 15-20 singles between then and now - including a few I've written for some great artists from Cher to Kenny G to Streisand. KOST - one of the most successful and influential stations in the country has been supporting my work since 1987 and here we were beginning the next chapter. Pretty cool!!!

Thanks so much for taking the time to write an update, Michael! We're always glad to be able to catch up with you. That is so cool about KOST - I enjoyed that station when I lived out that direction. Will you be doing a concert at Levitt this summer? Maybe I could make a quick dash home to Wpt & catch it, but wish I could have caught the S'pore, Jakarta, Beijing, et al., concerts. Best wishes for your next show - may all your audiences love your music as much as I do! I still remember dancing at a dinner party in the "jungles of Borneo" the first time I heard Laura Brannigan singing one of your songs & being so totally knocked out by it I put it in a scene in a book...
