For the families of Newton CT who are forced to bear the unbearable. I woke up to this devastating news. Watched, tried to comprehend and cried. Have been trying to find the words to express my sorrow knowing any words will fail.

All of our thoughts and prayers, hearts and very souls are with the families of the children and the families of every one of the people who were victims of
this unthinkable unbearable tragedy. MB

As always, you have eloquently expressed what so many feel at this horrific time, Michael.  My heart aches for those lost and for those dealing with unimaginable grief.  May the heavens welcome their newest angels.

Michael, your words again express what we all feel. I cannot begin to imagine what those families are going through. It feels like more and more incidents are taking place each day where one has little option but to say "this does not make any sense so why does this happen"? I know exactly how you feel. I shake my head and hope those families will find a level of peace at some stage in their lives. My thoughts and prayers to those poor families who did not deserve this.

Unspeakable. . . heard the news yesterday morning, and my first thoughts were a teacher I know in Sandy Hook, but fortunately, she works at another school in the district.  This is beyond heartbreaking, beyond words, beyond grief.  Most people around here are in such absolute shock they cannot even shed a tear.  Those poor children, suffering so senselessly.  And those parents' losses are incomprehensible.  All because the seriously/dangerously mentally ill have no residential facility where they can be committed - the mentally ill have "rights."  Instead of committed to secure facilities, they are "drugged & bugged" - given meds and sent to live on the streets or in the woods.  Appalling, and all so unspeakable.  Prayers for peace to the families & loved ones of those slaughtered, and for all those terrified, harmed, grieving.  In sorrow, Amie
