Nearing the end of this long, long tour around the world, I am growing deeper into my own gratitude for being able to do what I love so much. This was perhaps my favorite concert ever at the RAH. To walk into the most beautiful magical venue in the world and feel such warmth and overwhelming love and support from my fans in London and from all of the UK, was absolutely amazing. It was just so deep and powerful for me, I wanted to give even more. This was more of an emotional night than I could express for all kinds of reasons.

From the stage, we couldn't always make out all of the many conversations going on and comments from this very lively audience, but the overall effect was a plethora of tones that constantly felt positive and playful. People were just smiling and beaming at whatever was being expressed. I was taken aback by the signs congratulating me on the birth of my granddaughter Amelia, flowers and teddy bears handed up to the stage, and lots of love and laughter all night. It was equally special for my band, many of them playing in this intimidating and inspiring venue for the first time. My crew is made of heart and steel to keep going strong 90 shows into the tour. They load in early and load out late every night. I'm just so grateful.

My dear friend, Joan Lunden calls it "an attitude of gratitude" and that's just what I'm feeling.

Love and thanks to all, MB

Michael, you were amazing last night at Bristol. I loved Sweet Home Chicago, you are awesome on guitar, will you be putting this on an album at some point? I loved Hope it,s too Late from the new album and Nessun Dorma gave me goosebumps. The whole concert was fab, it was my 4th and I hope to get to many more. Thank you Michael for answering my question in the tourbook, I,m the Sandra who asked what your favourite song was to perform, you said Nessun Dorma and Said I loved You But I Lied.
You are looking so well and happy at the moment, with that lovely cute smile. Please don,t leave it too long before coming to Bristol again!!
I expect you,re looking forward to going home and spending Christmas with your family and enjoying seeing little Amelia Rose again. She is beautiful.
Enjoy the rest of your tour Michael and travel safely.

By the way, thank you so much for announcing from the stage that we could take photos as my daughter had been told they would take her camera away if she continued photographing.

Michael you not only had fans from the UK, you also had at least two from Alabama. Your concert was fabulous and I got goosebumps when you sang Nessum Dorma, it sounded so much better than when you sang in Montgomery. I was appalled to see one of the audience grabbing your hair when you returned to the stage. Best wishes for the rest of your tour and I look forward to seeing and hearing you again soon.

Michael,

Having been my inspiration for many many years, I wanted to thank you for always returning to these shores and giving us your all. I took my Fiancee to Cardiff for her first gig and she loved it! It was my 14th (since the TLT Tour at Wembley Arean in '91). However, our 4 year old son found out from his Grandparents where we'd gone and he was very unhappy!! He wants to see you live too, his favourite song is Just One Love!!!

Enjoy the rest of the tour and see you when you return!

Thanks once again.

James

Those of us who couldn't be there have been so blessed by having you on Facebook and getting to know other Facebook friends many of which go back to your original fan club forums which makes it extra special to be able to share all the ups and downs and see you come out on top of aspects of your life. We share in you "attitude of gratitude for where we all meet in the music! May God give you much to praise him for as the days go by. Have a wonderful holiday as you hopefully get some down time with the girls including mom, sis and now baby Amelia Rose.(know they all including bro Orrin are feeling so blessed too to know you have had such a successful tour).(-:

WOW what an amazing night last Tuesday at the RAH was!!! We had a wonderful night, and could have danced all night. It was so nice to hear that you had a magical time too Michael - it showed!

We have been lucky to see you perform 3 times this year (Hampton Court/Dublin/RAH) and would still love to see some more concerts!!
The RAH is always a special night. We did wait outside the stage door to see you until midnight (when our glass slippers turned to ice) and we had to go home! It would have been lovely to get a photo with you - perhaps you can think of arranging something for your fans to meet you next time you visit London!!
Just to let you know.... "short hair - Always Michael"!
Merry Christmas
With Love Tracy & Lorraine xx
