Royal Albert Hall Show - November 23, 2010
Nearing the end of this long, long tour around the world, I am growing deeper into my own gratitude for being able to do what I love so much. This was perhaps my favorite concert ever at the RAH. To walk into the most beautiful magical venue in the world and feel such warmth and overwhelming love and support from my fans in London and from all of the UK, was absolutely amazing. It was just so deep and powerful for me, I wanted to give even more. This was more of an emotional night than I could express for all kinds of reasons.
From the stage, we couldn't always make out all of the many conversations going on and comments from this very lively audience, but the overall effect was a plethora of tones that constantly felt positive and playful. People were just smiling and beaming at whatever was being expressed. I was taken aback by the signs congratulating me on the birth of my granddaughter Amelia, flowers and teddy bears handed up to the stage, and lots of love and laughter all night. It was equally special for my band, many of them playing in this intimidating and inspiring venue for the first time. My crew is made of heart and steel to keep going strong 90 shows into the tour. They load in early and load out late every night. I'm just so grateful.

My dear friend, Joan Lunden calls it "an attitude of gratitude" and that's just what I'm feeling.

Just poped in to say hello and congratulations on the birth of your beautiful granddaughter Amelia! Also, of course, thank you for a wonderful magical music which I can listen forever. It turned up unusualy cold here in the UK, so, I hope the warmth and gratitude of your fans will keep you going with your tour :-)

God Bless you, and Our Lady of Fatima, for this wonderfull show in the RAH. I came to London from Lisbon Portugal just to attend your concert. I am a fan since Soul Provider, and besides your voice is like the records, you show to be an amazing human being. I hope you come to Portugal soon, and this time i will not miss it! Fátima

My dear Michael, it,s lovely to read that you are having such an enjoyable time on this tour. You deserve all our love and support, you give us so much through your beautiful music and are so caring to your fans. I am really looking forward to seeing you tomorrow night at Bristol, getting so excited now, only ONE DAY TO GO!!! Hello! I have been at the RAH show that was great,really amazing!!! I absolutely adored!!! And let me just confess that this concert was my main reason to travel to London...completely achieved my goal! This night was magic for me and i could finally experienced your love, respect and care for all your fans. THANK YOU for giving us so much! Love

they broke the mould when they made you michael , god & all the angels must have got together ,your so gifted , i love the heart warming things you say on here , when i myself have had a tuff day & im tired & weary ,i turn on the cd player & listening to your voice when im driving home , just makes everthing else drift away , love all the different tones in your voice as you sing , very special is he who can sing everything from opera to blues to metal & more ,then write lyrics , books , a poet too .some great recipe your mum & dad had going lol , hey by the way did you ever get to visit goathland in north yorkshire , its pretty special i can tell you , legend says that god scooped up a piece of the earth there for himself to keep after he had created the world ,they call the place hoarcum hale .by for now xxx

Michael, you are the most WONDERFUL and GRATEFUL person in this world. Your show at The Royal Albert Hall was AWESOME. The audience could feel vibes coming from you, which made them enjoy your performance even more than ever before. Thank you Michael for bringing so much pleasure into our lives.Like so many of your fans, I would love to meet you face to face and tell you how grateful we are to enjoy what YOU bring to us I hope that this will last for a long time into the future. "Attitude of Gratitude" is everything! The most profound emotion, and generator of wonderful manifestations. Wish I could get a copy of my book to you, but I'm not going to just drop it off in your mailbox. You will get it someday since it was written in gratitude for one of your fabulous songs. Hope you got to spend a Happy Thanksgiving at home with your family and that darling little granddaughter. Thanksgiving is the greatest holiday because it is all about gratitude.
The Royal Albert is a fantastic venue, and the concert must have been truly magnificent. Wish I could have been there. Any chance it was recorded and will be available on DVD?

Awwwww gee Michael....SO GLAD you had a very moving experience. It sounds like an RAH concert just might be worth attending from here in the states!! Sounds like an excuse to see London and the entire UK to me.....I will talk with Bob ;) Attitude of gratitude is more than correct. That sounds like Oprah also....which I am trying desperately to get you booked on for her last season!!! All the fans here are helping by requesting you at Oprah's website!!! You DESRVE all the accolades so inhale them all deeply and SING ON!!!! Your band is also very talented and wonderful!! The band is only as good as its leader!!!! Stay strong and healthy for the rest of your tour!!! Much love....
