In an effort to accommodate Sheffield ticket holders who were unable to attend the concert due to weather related travel complications, Michael would like to offer fans with untorn/unmarked Sheffield tickets free seats at the Apollo Theater in Manchester on Sunday, Dec. 5th .

The decision to cancel a performance, for any reason, is agonizing and MB relies on a host of sources to assist him in determining whether proceeding with a show is in the best interest of his fans. While the vast majority of paid ticketholders were able to attend, he is aware that distance played a factor in some of his fans opting not to drive to the show due to safety concerns and that he fully supports his fans who made that decision. If you would like to attend the Manchester show, please contact Gail at boltoninfo@aol asap to make arrangements.

Wendy it is not that you get Manchester tickets - you have to take your Sheffield tickets - completely intact - to Manchester and you will get in - you might end up sitting in an aisle, but you will still get in - ha, ha, only joking - knowing Michael if there aren`t any seats you will probably end up sitting on the stage with him! ENJOY!

Thank you - I have tried that but will try it again. I was so disappointed about not being able to get to Sheffield and am praying that we can get Manchester tickets.

It is very regrettable but also totally understandable that the Sheffield City Hall concert went ahead on Friday December 4th. American fans should be aware that such wintry conditions are unprecedented in the UK at this time of the year. Towns and Cities, including Sheffield, I might add, were gridlocked, motorways impassable, airports closed, our national meteorological office giving severe weather warnings and the police advising not to travel unless your journey is absolutely necessary. UK is not equipped for such weather; we get this once a year for a day or two and get by with the country shut down. Nobody moves.

I think it is incredible that Michael has booked UK dates at all, our government is making it virtually impossible for artists to enter the country and play with penal tax and visa fee demands, and prohibitive licensing demands placed on venues.

It is, as fans have pointed out a rare spirit in this day and age who would offer Sheffield ticket holders the opportunity to see MB at Manchester. Sadly, with conditions still prevailing, if I did not travel 40 miles from Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire to Sheffield, I'm not going to travel 100 miles to Manchester for the show. Your American fans should know, Jools Holland cancelled his show the night before Michael and rearranged for a later date - on weather grounds. Madness cancelled their performance at Hull for the same reason.

It would have been nice if the Manchester and Sheffield shows could have been rearranged and tacked on the end of the European mainland leg on the way home. Visa's, venue availability, artist availablity and as explained above vert tight margins for the promoter I guess prevented this.

These things happen. I look forward very much to seeing Michael on his next visit to these shores, hopefully with a new promoter!

What a very nice gesture! I'm sure those fans will try and make it to Manchester tomorrow. Hope they enjoy your show like we always had when we came to your shows. Thank you for all your songs Michael, your concerts and all the good things you do. We love you always!
