To my dear fans
Gratitude is my recurring theme.
For all of your generous voices and the outpouring of support for me in every way. Alas, the judge's score could not be overcome for dwts, but I also must say in preparing for dwts I've gotten into the best shape of my life and intend to remain in shape which will only help with my demanding schedule and fresh energy i can bring to the stage! I've read and felt and witnessed the love and its been so overwhelming and revitalizing for me after weeks of rehearsal and training, work and travel and frustrating laryngitis to boot wow a very intense time. After all of it, I'm so happy to be on the road again touring and pouring myself into what I've loved all of my life...... Singing!!! From Tuesday night's concert in Yountville (with Bonnie Raitt in attendance - I've been a huge Bonnie Raitt fan since I can remember!!!!!) to Greely, Colorado tonight. The simple truth being the pure love of singing before a wonderfully loud and fully receptive audience and I am one happy man!!

I missed the DWTS episode when you sang and was out of town with an unexpected death in my family. I watched it today and was in tears. You are such a gentleman and for that your "classy" fans love you....me included.

Michael!! This is Toni from DWTS!! Your performance of 'Hallelujah' was so inspiring that I immediately wanted to go see you in concert! We were able to chat briefly and sadly no more L.A. area shows. If you happen to sneak in a new date for your tour please let me know so I can be there! See you for the 'finale' I'm sure.

Michael when i was 20 you sang one of your songs that i found my husband of 17 years and now you've touched me once again with your
beautiful voice Halleujah !!!!!!!!!! it made me think of my loved ones and my parents and you made me cry .Please put it on a cd where i could
buy it.

When I heard you sing "Hallelujah" on DWTS last night, I felt something deep in my soul fill with joy and awe. I don't know that I've ever been so moved, touched, or been filled with chills as I was as I heard you sing. I know I will never forget how your rendition moved me to tears. Thank you.

Michael, you are a Class act---with a capital C. Your impressive performance on DWTS singing that beautiful song was so moving that it brought me to tears. Rather than dwell on your "undeserved" experience, you came right back and showed everyone what a true talent and professional you are. You are definately a 10 with your fans.

Mr. Bolton I just want to say I just got through emailing abc and thanking them for having you back to sing on DWTS. I have never done this before and tonight I have done it twice because your song was a magnificent ending for my birthday yesterday. It gave me chills. Thankyou so much for a wonderful performance.

Joan, the song "Hallelujah" was written by and originally recorded by Leonard Cohen. Many singers have recorded covers of this song. My favorites are Rufus Wainwright or K.D. Lang, who sang the song at the opening ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Since he only had an hour of rehearsal, I'd say that Michael did a remarkable performance. I'm curious if he's ever sung it before.
