7/7/10 finally home for .... 6 whole days!! Yay!!!!!!!

Hello everyone!!

Just returned home to see my family and friends and there's no place like home. I had a week of work after pretty grueling world tour schedule. Just one show in Prague and then 3 days in London and Glasgow, Scotland. The Scotland show was a great on a new TV show called "Tonight's the Night" where I performed with a lovely woman named Carol MacIntre. A woman who 20 years ago was in The Academy of Dance and gave up her dream of being a performer to get married and give her time to her husband (also very sweet and gracious human being) and she was given the gift of performing on national TV.
The part she was not aware of until she walked into the piano rehearsal room, was that she would be singing "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You" with me and the cameras caught the surprise on her face when she walked in and I dropped the sheet music I pretended to be reading and said "Hello, Carol." She turned beet red and was so excited. I expected her to be incredibly nervous while rehearsing but she has always loved singing and has a beautiful voice so it was all fun from there on. We performed it in front of a full studio audience and her husband was brought up on stage and she cried and he was emotional and so proud of her and I was just grateful we could all make it happen because there's no way to understand how much that could mean to someone like Carol. It was truly an amazing moment for everyone.
The show is hosted by John Barrowman (a big star in the UK and also has been starring in Desperate Housewives recently) who was very generous with everyone and spent some time holding Carol's hand and walking her through the process to make her more comfortable. John is really kind, very funny a great host and he looks a bit like Tom Cruise - so I think the show is going to be very successful. Granting people their deepest wishes and watching them rise to embrace the moment is an inspiring theme that will win anyone over.

Lots of love, bye for now,

Ooh, dont tell our John that he looks like Tom Cuise, we'll never hear the last of it!! Ha Ha Ha!!

I am really enjoying reading these snippets into your life, so thank you for taking the time to share them with us all.

I can imagine the look of sheer joy on Carols face. What a magical moment for her to be able to sing duet with you. That is also my absolute dream to sing with you, so I know exactly what it would mean to Carol. Reading Carols report below, it is plain to see how happy this made her and what how well deserved this was for her.

Tonights the night' starts on BBC television next saturday in the UK (17th July) and I for one cannot wait to see this episode.

God bless you Michael.

Safe travels,

Love Jennifer XXXX

Michael you are a true star in more ways than you could ever imagine.

You have been so busy with your World Tour. You deserve a break. Hope you are sitting somewhere with a glass of wine and your feet up...even if just for a little while. Enjoy the time with family and friends! It's so cool you were able to bring Carol's wish to life. One of the things we love about you. Cindy

Dear Michael,

Thank you so very much for your kind words & beautiful message on your own personal blog. It was nothing short of a dream come true for me to perform with you on Tonight's the Night, especially as we sang your self penned, and my all time favourite, Tell Me How am I Suppossed to Live Without You. It's no wonder it reached the top of the charts and won you a Grammy. To get the opportunity to sing that song with you, on National Television (BBC 1), in front of a live audience that included my best friends & wonderful husband was just extra special and a once in a lifetime wish. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. As well as a true gentleman, you are an intermational star whom I respect both professionally & personally. We look forward to seeing you in concert when you tour the UK in November, at Edinburgh's Usher Hall. Also, congratulations on the success of your new album, One World, One Love, which is truly inspiring and has never been out of our CD machines at home & in our cars. We cannot thank you & your beautiful partner enough for your kind support, encouragement and love. Both my husband & I really appreciated our time with you and for giving me one of the best days of my life. It was indeed an honour & privilege to duet with you. Thank You & Much Love from Scotland. Carol & Colin McIntyre x x

I can't wait until my deepest wish comes true..........it is to co-write a song with you. I would embrace the moment you sang that song to me and hold it for the rest of my life. You are the inspiration behind my lyrics. They are your offspring. You should help to make them all that they can be. I love what you do with a song. Only you can find the soul and wrap it in passion. Only youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu........
