Sylvia, sweetie, so good to hear from you! Things are okay here, can’t complain too much. So sorry to hear so many people are sick around you. lol I don’t mean to poke fun sweetheart, but we wake up in the high 20’s and if we’re lucky, we get to the low 50’s here… It’s a different world, isn’t it? :D Oh that would be fun to hear what are your fave 80’s movies! Robin says unfortunately, they made a big deal out of not much: there seems to be only a head shot of Michael either in or on the People magazine but no article to be spoken of. I think it’s possible that Michael would be in the last DWTS show technically, but logisticly, he’s in Europe right now. I think he’s actually at the RAH on Tuesday, if I’m not mistaken. Well, I know it’ll take you a good while to catch up, but thought I’d let you know that there’s been a lot of action in the “2010 concert tour review” thread, including lots of pics and videos. Michael has sung “Hallelujah” in Edinburgh and “Sweet home Chicago” in other European cities. Maybe it would be easier for you to just do a search on youtube! Hi Sylvia, so good to hear from you! I missed you too girl, I really did! Wow, you lazed around until 7:00 a.m.? :D I seem to remember you posting on someone’s page that you were back in school full-time, has someone gone for a leave of absence? Just curious. Yes I’m sure you’ll have a lot to catch up on, and not just on the forum! :D Oh I’m fairly sure I’ll hear from you when you’ve heard the videos… Oh I remember the fun stuff at church for the holidays. I used to be in the choir and loved it. So what did your son go as for Halloween? Helena told me that there were a lot of zombies in her neck of the woods. Oh boy, temps of 75 during the day and 45 at night? That’s baumy for us! Lol If we’re lucky these days, we get 45 during the day and low 20’s at night but we’re used to it. Oh and we got our first snow on October 30, enough to cover the cars and lawns! Can’t complain though, we had a wonderful summer. I’ve finally finished washing my windows these past couple of weeks and spent the afternoon raking leaves today: my son tells me I do a good job! I think you’ll really love the latest concert reviews when you can take the time, Thanksgiving isn’t that far. Oh Sylvia, I almost forgot: Michael’s Xmas CD is ready for pre-order at Amazon! The only glitch is that it comes out in the U.K. first on Nov 29 and Dec 7 in the U.S. but, it’s listed as an import so, I’m personally holding out until we get a track listing, because Michael gave me the impression in a blog that there would be 2 different CD’s. Well, that’s the news of importance in a nutshell. Take good care of yourself Sylvia and thanks a lot for touching base and guess we’ll talk around Thanksgiving. Hey Sylvia, so good to hear from you! Yes all is well in Canada: I saw to that! :D It’s Thanksgiving here in Canada tomorrow and although we don’t celebrate it a whole lot in the French community, the kids have off school so they’re happy and thankful about that…  I went to the opera yesterday to hear “Rigoletto” and had a great day with my wonderful opera buddy. Next outing is in December for the opera gala. Oh my, I’m sorry to hear about your mom’s foot, ouch! I guess you and your siblings are taking turns helping her? Well good luck to her… Did your friend join the forum? Oh, that must have been nice to reconnect… Oh Sylvia, did you know about Payten offering the mp3 of Michael’s “Hallelujah” to anyone who wants it? I’ll tell ya, I’m glad I’m keeping up with the forum daily because I’d go mad trying to make heads or tails of it. Hi Sylvia, I’m glad you’ve seen Michael on GMA. Oh, I heard it in the host’s voice the first time. First of all, Michael said he wanted to incorporate it into his life, not his shows. So she apparently didn’t like his dancing? Her problem. I frankly didn’t like the tone she used when she asked people to post on the ABC blog. Michael mentioned being asked to play in “Chicago” and “Phantom” so he’d need to learn how to move theatrically, it makes sense. You see Sylvia, I think people have become desensitized about rudeness: people uttering it don’t grasp that they’re talking to human beings. Comments like Bruno’s are hurtful. I’ve never watched DWTS before this but have watched “American Idol” and sometimes Simon’s comments were so bad, I just wanted to go down to the studio and smack him! They just don’t get that you can say what you mean in a more restrained fashion. Unless they think it’s just entertainment? Have you read Jennifer’s comment about what Bruno has said to someone in the show “Strictly come dancing”? It’s really too horrid, I can’t repeat it… Well anyway, guess we’ll hear what happens if someone is brave enough to watch next week’s show. Personally, I’m out until the finale. Hi Sylvia, did you see Michael on GMA this morning? He actually said he enjoyed the dog house thing, he thought it was hilarious! The host of GMA asked for feedback on the ABC blog about whether Michael deserves an apology. I’m just so sorry Michael’s mom had to see that… You know girl, we all know Michael did his best, but it’s really sad to see that his hard work wasn’t rewarded and our crazy voting didn’t pay off either… Oh I am very proud of him: last week I was teary-eyed at thinking: he did it! I think it’s great that he says he wants to incorporate more dance into his life. I suppose being on the show was kind of like someone being afraid of water being thrown in. Robin from MD was saying on the DWTS thread that now, off-camera, he should be able to enjoy it. I had to laugh when you said he’ll be going back to his love: golf! lolIt’ll be nice to feel he’s more relaxed now. I can’t wait to hear reviews from last night’s concert! BTW, I don’t intend to keep watching the show but I’ve heard Michael would be supposed to be on the finale show. Hopefully, we’ll hear more on that later. Hi Sylvia good grief, that’s a lot of partying! Lol Okay now, you have to tell me why you don’t like birthdays. What’s not to love? Hey Sylvia, yeah girl, what a night! Pilar also put up a couple of videos related to DWTS: the interview with Michael and Chelsie was really nice. I’m so glad to hear he thinks 50% of the stress will be gone! Obviously, I miss a lot by not seeing and it sounds like Jennifer did a great job, but I have a feeling she might get a lot of the sympathy votes, because of Patrick Swayze’s passing. Heck, if I were watching and didn’t know MB, I’d vote for her! I wish I could vote from several accounts, but my daughter had to vote for me yesterday. I don’t know how to register and hate to impose my madness on her! lol Sometimes it’s frustrating to be dependant, but at least I’m glad I could vote 12 times! :D My day was good: checked my ton of E-mails this morning, had time for 2 phone calls and a routine appointment and I’m back here again! Hi again Sylvia, I just responded to your post on the DWTS thread! Lol I honestly think the judges’ comments weren’t that bad, I just wish they’d given him a higher score though. Girl, they don’t give a rat’s tail about his circumstances. And in a way, they don’t really have to, otherwise, they would have given Mr 5-Day-Practice a higher score. The contestants are there to work their tail off and get better every week, if they can’t cut it, they shouldn’t be there. Now I sound like Simon Cowel! Lol I think he did well enough this week to stay in, with our votes. I’m confident he’ll be there next week! lol Oh I’m not touching that one about the thong!
