Hi again Amie, the author’s name is Angelica Christie. About Michael recording, he’s apparently already recorded “The prayer” with Lara Fabian and 2 duets with Helene Fischer, plus another duet with Katherine Jenkins. The one with miss Jenkins was listed as being live though, which leads me to believe that they’ve taken the recording of the pair done in a Xmas special in Europe last year. AndMichael has told us in a blog that he intended on recording “Hallelujah” for his next album scheduled to be released in May 2011. Glad to hear your runny nose was a false alarm. I think the snow excuses the cold: cold and no snow is just not right. I must say, I don’t know personally  anyone who’s lived in a hotel for more than a couple of weeks. Hmm, riding the rails in China, sounds interesting… Oh my, I hope you’re keeping warm! Oh I’ve been having fun myself “busting my butt” to make presents: I’ve been baking up a storm and listening to Michael at the same time! JFlying by the seat of your pants, isn’t that what makes an author’s life exciting? Well, have a happy butt-busting time Amie and enjoy your holidays: your great friendships should warm you up! Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Amie, if you’ve accepted my friendship,  you’re automatically “mon amie”, no need  to ask me as a friend. Your picture, if you have one on your page, should  throne on top of my friends list! :D Hope you do explore the site, it’s filled with the wonder of sharing about “our” man. Thanks for the update: I’m really glad to know Michael’s home, hopefully resting and recovering. Florida is a great place to be in winter, but don’t know if I could personally get used to no snow at Xmas. Well I wish you and yours wonderful holidays too and hope you feel better soon. Oh Amie, I met another author on this site this week. She lives in Assissi and writes poetry: her name is Angelica and she was at Michael’s rehearsal for a Xmas show in Italy. Well, I’ll look forward to chatting again, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Amie, of course I know “Ein Klein Nacht music”, who doesn’t? Well, they don’t know the title but they know it. Funny enough, I hear it every day on the radio because the main melody was borrowed for a drugstore ad! :D Well, good for you that the creative juices are flowing Amie, take advantage of it. Glad you’ve enjoyed Jen’s story. She has a life story worthy of a novel… Take care and have a nice rest of the week. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Amie, I’m glad you think the book I suggested sounds interesting. I checked Amazon.ca this morning, to make sure I had the author’s name right and they do have it in stock but didn’t find an English version, sorry. OMG, I love Mozart too! I’m not an expert by any means but I do enjoy some of his pieces I recognize, especially the symphony no 25 in G minor, but I really love his operas. I haven’t found any audio biographies of Mozart but I loved the movie “Amadeus”. You know Amie, to be honest with you, I’m not into novels much, but I do enjoy human stories and your novel sounds like one I’d borrow from the library… :D Oh yes, you should definitely post on the forum, start a discussion in the “off topic” section once it’s published. You might be surprised by the subjects in the “off topic” section. I’ve noticed that you post mostly on blogs so I was thinking either you’re short for time, or you don’t know your way around the forum yet. If you click on the “discussions” link on your page, you’ll get to a page that has 5 or 7 categories of discussion threads: general chat, music, Tour Gigs and Appearances, and of course off-topic, etc. Browse the threads, you might find something interesting. Well, good luck with your many projects Amie, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi again Amie, oh my goodness, are you ever talking to the right person… “When I’m back on my feet again” is my favorite song of all-time, from all categories… Not that it’s helped me through anything life-shattering, thank God, but that song makes me weak in the knees… Well, it certainly sounds interesting. You know Amie, this reminds me of a French book called “Ma vie avec Mozart” by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, which is, from what I understand an autobiographical book about this author living his life with Mozart’s seemingly constant support, in sometimes very dark times: it’s one of those inspirational stories. Too bad I don’t think it’s been translated yet. Well good luck finding an agent Amie. Perhaps when you do get one, you could start a discussionin the “off topic” section to let us know? Take care and again, good luck! Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi again Amie, I had gathered as much but wanted you to figure it out, that’s okay. Oh you’ll love it and I’m sure you won’t have trouble finding the RAH DVD. Wow, sounds like an interesting life… Well I guess changing pen names makes sense. I understand if you can’t disclose the name of your book yet, but may I ask which song inspired you? Just curious. Well take care Amie, my family is great, thanks for asking and hope yours is too. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Amie, Thanks for your messages. Yes I know how desirable the RAH is for filming. I’m sure it’s probably one of the 3 most filmed venues ever. What I was saying is that Michael filmed his November 3 2009 concert there and the DVD was released in May 2010 so, it would be very unlikely another one would be recorded, as awesome as the concert was. I’m thinking that Michael had the opportunity to film there so he grabbed it. I don’t know why he filmed his “Best of Michael Bolton” up here in Rama Ontario in ’04, but it seems to me that 5 years difference between live recordings isn’t much. What do I know? Oh yes, you’ve mentioned you’re an author. Funny enough, when I read your name, I thought how fortunate you were to have such a pretty name! :D You’ve mentioned in your blog post that a song of Michael’s inspired you a book, may I ask what kind of books you write, novels or poetry? Just curious. Well, take care Amie, nice talking to you. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Amie, I’ve just read your comment on the « Royal Albert Hall” blog about the concert being recorded. Do you think that would be wise to film a concert on DVD, when a concert at the same venue was released on DVD just 6 months earlier? It would be cool to always have the best concerts on DVD or CD but don’t think that’s good marketing. By the way, how lucky of you to live so close to Michael! Did you know that your name, the way it’s spelled means “friend” in French? Well take care Amie and if you want a sample of how great the November 23 RAH concert was, look on Youtube, there’s a boatload of videos, enjoy! Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
