Hi Silvia, I'm not sure if you'll get to read this. In case you haven't heard, this site will be taken down in the near future. I just wanted to take the time to say thank you for being such a sweet friend and I will miss you, this site and all the good friends I've made here. Michael has a milestone birthday coming up in February 2018. I ran an idea past Gail that passed with approval.
I have small cards that are 2.5X3.5. The idea for the card is not to say happy birthday, but you have room to put a few sentences to tell Michael why you love him, his music or how his music helped you in hard times. It’s should be big enough for a wallet size photo if you would like.
Then when he’s home sitting at his desk, he can pull 1 or 2 cards to read when he has the time. Our words will be with him all year.
I request a SASE, and I will send you a card. Write your note and put in your picture. When your finished, mail it back to me. You could even send your note on a 2x3 size paper and I’ll attach it to a card. Send your picture to if you like. That would take out the SASE step.
For those out of the country, I checked with my postmaster and she said you can put your own postage on the return envelope equivalent to $1.15 US.
Email me, Sally, at MYSCRTPSSN@gmail.com and I can give you an address to send your SASE (self addressed stamped envelope).
A second option that isn’t as personal, is to email me a short note and I can cut and paste it onto a card for you. I don’t want to handle pictures this way because I’m not that computer literate and don’t want to make errors with something as personal as a picture.
Just let me know the option that works best for you.
When all the cards are gathered, I’ll put them in some sort of decorate box. And the box of cards will be Michael’s birthday gift from us.
It might seem early, but it’s something that we can work on Now through January. I’d like to be finished by February since I would need to get a box and mail it off to Michael.

Hi Silvia, it’s so great to hear from you!  We’re all fine here sweetie, thanks. I’m keeping busy with house projects and my kids are well. I’ve uploaded pictures of my new creation on my blog: it’s an Irish cottage. :D I’m also working on a special one for my grandbaby-to-be. :D The forum has been very entertaining in the past month. You’ve mentioned being tired, I’m guessing that’s a side effect of the latest treatment? Well at least, it sounds a lot more manageable than the previous one, so that’s an improvement! :D  I’ll be sure to tell my friends about the happy developments and obviously very looking forward to them. I should be able to listen to the U.K. version of  ANMHE soon, so looking forward to that too. I hope you have a pleasant summer to look forward too and a nice vacation with your kids sweetie. Hi Silvia, good to read you sweetie! I’m not too bad: I have 3 upcoming musical events, including Michael’s concert in 90 days! :D Well it’s good to hear that it’s all about just checking up on you right now. I hope that your physical changes aren’t too much of a challenge. Well, I’ll be going to the Montreal concert, but not Quebec City. It’s only 3 hours away, but I’m not the one driving in the winter time and we can’t really afford the lodging. So be sure that I’ll thoroughly be enjoying the Montreal concert! :D I’ll be going with my youngest daughter and it’ll be her 1^st MB concert so that’ll be fun. Well Silvia, I’m glad to hear your support system is still with you and it’s especially nice to hear you’re spending time with your husband. I used to have some nice conversations with my kids when we took walks together. I hope everyone in your family is doing well. My sister visited for a few days last week so that was fun: listening to music like teenagers and “watching” movies. My sister has RP also. Our time together passes too quickly though. Hi again Silvia, I'm still waiting for a reply from Gail, as I'm sure she's waiting for a reply from Michael's management. In the meantime, after reading your last PM this morning, I was reminded of a lovely  message my friend Robin sent me a few years back. I always keep inspiring stories, in case I need them for myself or someone else. Guess what? I think your day has come to read it! It's the story of a woman from California who has gone through hehll and back and I think it could do you good to read it.
