I think Sylvia posted it. At least you can see Michael and you can understand what the lady is saying! :D Have a great weekend sweetie, take  care. Hugs, sincerely, your friend Sylvie <3

Hi Silvia, good to hear from you! Don’t worry about the delay sweetie, I know you have kids. My family is all well, thanks for asking Silvia and hope yours is fine too. It’s wonderful to hear you’re a happy family again and I hope you all enjoy your vacation together.. Listen my friend, if life was perfect, we might not appreciate it as much. In 2009, fans were asked to send birthday wishes to Michael and Gail would print them and send them to Michael. I wrote my wishes but wrote this at the bottom:

“I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.

I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.

I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.

I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.

I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.

I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.”

That’s what life is all about my friend! As for your health issue, try not to worry and do things that make you happy for now Silvia. For all you know, it’ll just be a big scare for nothing. Keep your positive attitude and enjoy daily blessings with your family. My husband won’t have a vacation for a while but I’ll enjoy the summer with my boys and try to spend time with them because it all goes too fast. Well my friend, I started this message 2 days ago and I’m finishing it today. I sprained my ankle while walking and fell but thank goodness, my boys helped me so I was able to rest for a couple of days and I’m walking with a limp today, but at least I’m walking! Good thing I couldn’t do much because it’s in the 30’s Celsius today and the weekend too. I hope the weather is bareable in Portugal. Take good care of yourself my friend and keep me posted on your own health issues, okay? Big warm hugs, sincerely, your friend Sylvie <3

Hi Silvia, How are you sweetie? Well, I hope. Thanks for your message. Well, I hope you’ve had a nice mother’s day and you did something fun with your kids. I’ve heard from my girls but my boys were too busy on Sunday so we went out to dinner on Saturday and that was nice. I’m really happy for you that you’re feeling well and ready to exercize. I’ve started taking walks in my driveway when the weather is nice enough. It’s finally warming up, but we’ve had a lot of rain in the past week. The scent of lilac is everywhere and it’s my favorite! Well if you’re watching “Dancing with the stars”, you must have seen Michael singing “Hallelujah” by now: that was absolutely amazing! Hey, crazy or not, it feels so good to have Michael on TV in our country so who cares? Lol Last week, they played the Royal Albert Hall concert twice on my Musimax video channel and I watched it both times… :D Yes, I wish Michael would come back here too, but he seems to be so very busy with his new album and God knows what else. Michael’s backup singer Cameron posted on a blog that his next album is supposed to be a Motown album, but no confirmation yet. He was part of another compilation short for the Lonely Island’s 100th digital short, dressed as “Jack Sparrow” again and he said he had “too much fun!”. :D To my knowledge, yes, Michael did write “Til the end of forever” for his daughter Isa, who first got married in 2004 or 2005. I heard she’s divorced now though. The album had 6 new songs, a new version of SILYBIL and the rest were older live songs. Don’t you have that CD sweetie? You might have more details about the songs in the booklet. Oh Silvia, I like being your “Michaelpedia”! lol Which reminds me, have you heard this yet:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSCG4i56N2E

It’s an old song, redone by Michael called “Shotgun” and it’s on Michael Lington’s CD “Pure”. Mr Lington is the sax player. Oh Silvia, if you have time, check out “My creations” blog at the bottom of my profile page. I’ve uploaded many pictures of music boxes I’ve made and more. Take good care of yourself my friend, it’s really nice to hear you being positive! :D Have a great week. Big hugs, sincerely, your friend Sylvie xxx

Hey Silvia, good to hear from you sweetie! Never worry about delays, I’m not doing very well either these days. Wow, you’ve had a lot on your hands! I hope you’ve had a nice visit with your in-laws. Do you celebrate Easter in Portugal? On my side, my mother-in-law came over and she treated us all so that was nice, plus we hadn’t seen her in a while. Speaking of seeing, are you getting used to your glasses? :D Am I glad not to wear those any more! Lol I’m sorry to hear you have anemia. I’ve been dangerously close to it myself so I take multi-vitamins with extra iron. I’d like to ask you: are your kids old enough to help around the house sweetie? I know when they’re little, they always want to help, but not always when they get older. Oh you know what I do for exercize? I walk around while talking on the phone! Lol I really do... :D I also have an exercize bike  and get on it for half an hour or more and listen to a CD or music on the computer at the same time. Michael has said in interviews that he’s still single and doesn’t have time for relationships. He might go out with various people occasionally, that doesn’t mean he’s in a relationship. In 1995, Michael came to Montreal for promotion and was signing CD’s but I couldn’t go because I was home with a newborn baby. It’s been 3 years since he’s been here for a concert. Thanks for the link you’ve given me. JP Rodrigues was okay. It seems more and more upcoming artists sing MB songs, listen to this guy from “American Idol”:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQ4pNlvt0m8

He sang WAMLAW also and our Michael himself tweeted  him on the good job he’d done! :D He was certainly passionate about it! :D Well anyway, I have to go and sort out laundry  before my opera starts so I’ll let you go for now. You should check the blogs from the main page if you have time sweetie because Michael has been doing interviews in Australia, where he is now. Also, when he’ll be in Sydney, he’s supposed to give us more details about the album he’s working on. I could let you know if I find out anything, okay?  I have to go now. Take care my friend and have a great week. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Silvia, sorry for the delay. My family is well, thanks for asking. I hope that despite everything, you & yours are well too. I thought that you & your husband agreed to make an effort to make it work. Are you getting couples counciling? I do hope everything works out for you: your family deserves happiness. So did Gail get your Bday card for Michael? I know she got mine. Oh Silvia, did you read my PM about Michael’s autobiography? We found out there is an audio book version & Michael is reading it!!! I’m so excited! Lol My husband ordered both versions & I can’t wait! :D Gail said she’d let us know more news soon & fans are hoping for a book signing tour. Oh, before I forget, if you’re on Facebook, there’s a contest to win Michael’s new U.K. compilation CD. It has songs we already have, but I think it’s always fun to have new compilations & new packaging, if you can afford it.

www.music-news.com

Scroll down to where it says : “Win Michael Bolton 'The Very Best Of' on CD” & click on the link. Good luck if you enter!Yes, I do know about Paul Janz, but I didn’t know that song Silvia, thanks for sharing it! My favorite song of his is this one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uI2fRmSQg8k

It’s called “Close my eyes”, ooh memories! I was checking through suggestions on the YouTube page & found a bunch of Canadian groups, that was fun! I’ll tell you Silvia, getting lost on YouTube is one of the most fun things to do when I’m feeling a bit down. I hope you had fun looking through your Canadian souvenirs. :D Speaking of which, Dianna Shipman started a thread about the “Bolton on-line” updates”, which was a fan club newsletter from a few years ago. Check it out, you might find something fun to read on there:

http://www.michaelbolton.com/forum/topics/online-updates?

I know I wrote a couple of articles for those newsletters back then. Anyway sweetie, I’m out of room. Take care my friend and keep the faith, okay? Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Silvia, how are you sweetie? Well, I hope. I’m pretty good myself. Thanks for telling me I don’t have to rush to reply. I just love all the interaction with friends but responding properly is time-consuming. I’m glad you enjoyed the Xmas presents! Oh Silvia, I know exactly what you mean, that Michael’s music can make everything go away. I wrote an article for the “Bolton on-line updates” the fan club had 10 years ago that described just that. Wow, 10 years ago already… Hey, maybe someday, I could have you read it by attaching it to a message on your page. I need help though. OMG Silvia, I have another video to show you:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_sq5E4dqNY

It’s a concert montage and it’s almost 20 minutes long! Ahh, I have to admit, it made me cry when I heard it: it’s been too long since I’ve attended a concert… BTW, I’m sure you did a great job at explaining what Michael means to you in the letter you’ve sent! :D Doesn’t it feel fantastic to know he’ll probably hold it and read it? :D The important thing at Xmas Silvia is to have your family with you and you did spend time with your kids at least so I’m sure they appreciated it. Xmas was quiet here too, but my youngest daughter was here and I hadn’t seen her since June so that was very nice. My eldest daughter and I baked our cookies but made them a touch spicier with cinnamon, ginger and vanilla this year and they were pretty good. Hope your new year’s day was all you wanted your Xmas to be: sounds like it would be a feast! I try to eat right, but at Xmas, I think it’s okay to cheat a little. That French toast your sister makes sounds good! I wish 2012 is a better year for you too sweetie, thanks for the good wishes! I hope you got my PM: I’ve posted my art work on my profile page, hope you like it! Well I gotta go but it’s always great hearing from you sweetie, take care and have a great week! Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Silvia, sorry for the delay responding. Well, I’m glad to hear my comment made you smile! :D I’m feeling a bit mischievous today:I’ve just spent half an hour voting for Michael and TLI on the Virgin poll! :D Oh I’m so glad to hear you found your in-box! Gail is an angel! Good to hear your shopping is all done. It looks like all my kids will be here for Xmas, so all I need is snow. :D Aww, that picture of you and your daughter sounds sweet! Yes Silvia, meeting Michael next year: that’s the positive attitude! Lol  No, I wasn’t too busy with shopping, I wish!  :D I love this forum and exchanging with friends, but thoughtful responses to everyone are time-consuming sometimes and real life doesn’t stop... :D Well, I do hope you’ll get something good coming out of your time at your in-laws. Are you able to join your own family for New Year’s at least?Silvia, it’s none of my business, but do your kids enjoy spending time with their dad? It’s good that you want to keep the family together, but not so good if no one is having a good time. Just my opinion. Out of curiosity, do you have any traditions with just your kids? We make the cookies for Santa. ;D Yes my kids are a bit big for that, but I love the tradition. I will also make potato candy this week: my kids love it. It has a texture similar to fudge and you make it with icing sugar, a potato, vanilla  and peanut butter. Well sweetie, I have to get out of here but it was really nice hearing from you. I’ll look forward to your message and you and your kids have a wonderful Christmas, take care my friend. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

P.S.: Were you able to check out the link I gave you the last time? Just checking.

Hi again Silvia, did you miss me? lol I am now writing to ask if you have found your forum in-box yet, because I don't think you have. If you want to send someone a private message, you have to click on "send a message" on their page and that will take you to your forum in-box. While on that page, if you click on "inbox" you can check messages that people have sent you. I'm telling you this because these are private messages and I have sent you 1 or 2 but I don't think you've read them yet. Don't worry, they weren't urgent messages. Let me know if you can find it. If you can't, maybe you can ask Gail and she can give you a visual way to get to it, good luck! Take care Silvia and have a great week! Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Silvia, I’m really sorry for the delay responding. I’ve been pretty busy and I like to take the time to respond properly to everyone’s messages. I’m really sorry to hear about the Portuguese “Gems” being delayed, but I want to thank you very much  for relaying the info. I’m glad for you if the videos brought back magical memories. You gave your daughter a wonderful gift by passing on the love of music and I know she’ll thank you one day. I wish I could see the look on Michael’s face when he reads your card. I’m sure it’ll warm his heart Silvia! I’m sorry the past little while has been so rough for you, but I truly hope your kids are getting some good out of your husband staying with you all and I wish for your whole family that you can find peace again. Oh yes, “Hear me” is a fabulous song! I love that we can feel how caring Michael is, through his music and i’m just glad he found a way to share that care with so many. Silvia, can you access this page:

http://www.michaelboltonphotos.com/soundfiles.shtml

If you can, scroll down to where it says “When I’m back on my feet again, piano accompaniment” and click on it. It’s a most gorgeous version of the song and I find it very comforting. You can even download it for free from that page. There are other songs on the page you can also download. It’s my friend’s page and I contributed a bit to it. Let me know if it works for you. Silvia, thank you very much for your kind words, but I want you to know that this is a 2 way street. It makes me feel good if I know that what little I did helped brighten your day. :D I’m running out of àspace so will send you another message. See you in a minute! Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Silvia, I was checking YouTube to find the studio versions of these songs and only found the live versions so I thought I’d share these memories with you:

“Make you feel my love”:

“Over the rainbow”:

Gail posted earlier this week that all versions of “Gems” should be out so good luck finding yours at your local store. Oh, by the way, do you have on-line stores like Amazon in Portugal? Just curious. Well in any case, take good care of yourself Silvia and have a great weekend. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hey Silvia, how are you sweetie? I’m pretty good today: I’ve just received my German version of “Duets” and can’t wait to listen to it, as soon as I get off the computer. :D Yes I’ve had computer trouble and I’m quite late in responding to everyone, message filing etc. Maybe one day, I’ll catch up! :D Well I’m glad for you that you did have a nice family time in Spain. Wow, does it get cold in Spain and Portugal? Anyway, I’m sure it felt wonderful to have a nice family day enjoying being together. Sweetie, remember what they say when you get married: for better or for worse and you have to believe that the better will come again. Oh girl, I still believe in Santa Claus so I’ll join you! Lol So, have you decided on making a card for Michael? It’s going to be time to send them soon. I won’t be sending Michael a Christmas card myself, but I might post a message if there’s a blog for it. Speaking of wishes, did you hear that Michael is a grandpa again? His youngest daughter Taryn had a second baby and they announced it yesterday. It’s a little girl named Olivia Gwen. Great taste in names: I also have a daughter named Olivia. :D Have you found the Portuguese “Gems” or “Duets” in stores yet?  Do you have on-line stores in Portugal? I’m sure you could ask a salesperson if you could order it. Well, I know we can in Canada. Hmm, you visit Spain, I guess that means you know Spanish? Have you ever heard this song?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Thd6dNHads

and how about this one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VByYPbnDY0s

OMG, I can’t tell you how much I love this song! I hope you enjoy them! :D Well all right Silvia, I have to sort out laundry, clean my bathroom and listen to Michael so I’m off the computer for now. Have a great rest of the week and enjoy! Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada :D

Okay Silvia, just to help you wait for my next message, ;D here’s a song that’s been posted on YouTube recently, but no one knows where it came from. I don’t know if you’re on Facebook, but my friend told me it was posted there first:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0A5KOW7eBM&feature=youtu.be

And if you really like it, go to this web site and you can apparently download it:

http://www6.zippyshare.com/v/30996683/file.html

There’s no description on YouTube, but it sounds to me like it could have been included on “One world one love” but a friend of mine thinks it might have been a leak to a future album. In any case, we can enjoy it so yay! Why ask questions, right? :D Take care Silvia and have a great weekend! Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Silvia, I’m glad you read the message I had posted. I’m slowly catching up by answering messages from oldest to newest, so this is a reply to your Oct 28 message. I’m doing okay, I’ve been keeping busy while without my computer, listened to movies on DVD, made appointments etc so it wasn’t all bad! :D Glad you enjoyed the link. The Canadian Tenors are pleasant to listen to, but they’re what I call “pop-opera” or “popera”. They’re like a Canadian version of Il Divo, but you wouldn’t hear them in actual operas. I’m personally more into “real” operatic singers, although I understand people who are not, it’s a question of taste. My own mom hated it. OMG, “Nessun dorma” takes my breath away! In ’98, I heard Michael sing “Pourquoi me reveiller” live and just sobbed... Keep your dream to meet Michael alive Silvia, it’ll happen. :D Oh I’m glad you got in touch with Gail, she’s an angel. Oh, do let me know if you  find a Xmas card. You know, I think that Michael would actually be touched if you bought a special card in Portuguese but translated it for him, it’s a thought. Oh cool you read the tour book: I still can’t believe he answered  2 of my questions, it’s like a dream... About Michael being a vegetarian, his daughter Holly used to have a web site in the late 90’s, where she answered fan questions and she said that they don’t eat meat, but not that many vegys either so I do hope he wised up and is taking better care of himself. I hear he looks it! :D Hope you had a nice visit at your in-laws. My youngest son feels he’s too old to trick-or-treat so he gave out candy with his girlfriend and my eldest son couldn’t think of a half decent costume so Halloween was quiet. I kind of miss the days where I’d make their costumes... :D Oh Silvia, don’t miss out on all the new Australian interviews on the new blogs! Well sweetie I’m out of room so I’ll go for now and respond to your new message when I get there! Take good care of yourself my friend and talk to you soon. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
