Hey Lori, you said you didn’t have much patience to lose? Well, at least you have determination! Lol I don’t really know how limited we are character-wise with blog posts or profile posts, but I’ve had the experience with blog responses on the previous MB web site and personal messages from friends on this one. I thought I’d had lost messages, until one day, I read the top of the page that said “we’re sorry…” and it said the character limit was 4000: I tend to be long-winded! Lol So you went to see fireworks, was something special being celebrated or was that a fireworks competition? Oh girl, trust me, there are a lot of people that are way worse off than I am. Sometimes, being blind is frustrating but very good things have come with it too… You could have started a new discussion to tell your story, but putting a blog on your page is more personal so that’s cool. Have you read the thread I’ve sent you? I just love the stories in there. Well Lori, glad you didn’t give up! Have a look around the site, there are great topics and great people here. Take care. Hi Lori, good to hear from you! Yeah, I was told Orrin looked like Michael: he’s a sweetheart! He’s a musician too, he has a CD out and will apparently be releasing another one this year. I suggest you Google “Orrin Bolton fan site” and read up on him. He had a very interesting life so far. Oh my, I hope your article isn’t too long to retype! Lol I’m looking forward to reading it. So, did you find the “16 years ago today…” thread? I hope so. Hehe, I don’t know how limited we are for the amount of characters here!  Ah, don’t worry about knowing much French, one of my friends from Ontario was originally born in England and knows more French than her husband who lived all his life here! Hi Lori, I double-checked the link I gave you and it works for me so I don’t know… Hope it works next time you try. If not, look in “general chat” for the “16 years ago today…” thread. As far as I know, uploading a file should be as easy as uploading a photo. What I said was that I’m blind and it would be hard for me to give you instructions. Lol, my picture is not of me and my husband, I’m with Michael’s brother Orrin. This picture was taken in 2004, in the lobby of the Stanford Mariot. I was there for the MBC gala weekend. Ah chute, I was going to explain in detail how to do it, but I can’t tell you to click right or left on this or that, because I literally do this blindly! Lol I’m legally blind and work with a screen-reader program… Well, if I can do it, it should be easy for you!  I get E-mails from threads that I follow and I follow that one so, I should know when you’ve uploaded it, I’m looking forward to it! Hehe, I agree that 3 concerts are not enough but then again, what amount really is? Michael’s been here a few times but I’ve only been able to attend twice. My 5 other concerts I’ve had to travel for. Wow, cool you’ve grown up on the West Island! I grew up in Rosemont but came over here in ’84 with my husband. Lori, did you meet Michael at your first concert? There are great threads here about people’s first concerts, introduction to Michael’s music etc. One of my favorite ones is “16 years ago…” that I recommend to all my new friends! Hi Lori, well, it looks like you’re new on this forum so I’ll say welcome! This is a great forum, we love it! Did you just check my page because I’m from Canada too?  Cool you’re from Montreal, when did you move to NB? I’ve lived here all my life and the furthest I’ve traveled was Mississippi to see Michael! So, how long have you been a fan and have you ever been in the MBPlatinum club? I’ve been a fan for just about 20 years and was in the club until it closed down. So when did you meet Michael? Wow, it’s incredible that he helped you out of a coma, I couldn’t think of a better way out! :D Sorry about the 20 questions… It’s nice to make new friends! Take care.
