Michael has a milestone birthday coming up in February 2018. I ran an idea past Gail that passed with approval.
I have small cards that are 2.5X3.5. The idea for the card is not to say happy birthday, but you have room to put a few sentences to tell Michael why you love him, his music or how his music helped you in hard times. It’s should be big enough for a wallet size photo if you would like.
Then when he’s home sitting at his desk, he can pull 1 or 2 cards to read when he has the time. Our words will be with him all year.
1- request a SASE, and I will send you a card. Write your note and put in your picture. When your finished, mail it back to me.
For those out of the country, I checked with my postmaster and she said you can put your own postage on the return envelope equivalent to $1.15 US.
Email me, Sally, at MYSCRTPSSN@gmail.com and I can give you an address to send your SASE (self addressed stamped envelope).
2- The second option isn’t as personal, is to email me a short note and I can cut and paste it onto a card for you. I can print your picture if you wish to include one.
3- you can mail me your note and I’ll put it in a card for you.
If you have an idea that would work best for you, just send me an email.
When all the cards are gathered, I’ll put them in some sort of decorate box. And the box of cards will be Michael’s birthday gift from us.
It might seem early, but it’s something that we can work on Now through January. I’d like to get it mailed about the week before his birthday.

Hi Joshua, Sylvia just posted your FB video links on the "New videos on YouTube" thread on here and I have to say I'm really impressed! I tried going on your old "Me singing 'Go the distance'" thread, to remind myself of how far you've come since I heard you last, but the YouTube links don't work any more. In any case,  you really seem to be gaining confidence and to be moving in your own zone, musically-speaking and I'm not just saying that. You know, you remind me of a young Richard Marx... :D   You and your sister did a seriously fabulous job on "More of you", terrific job on harmonizing. Hi Josh, yes you had replied sweetie, but it's still great to hear from you! :D When you're not sure if you've replied to someone, (it's happened to me too) you just need to click on "view thread", so you can see all the back and forth comments with one person. Now, my own February 2014 concert was postponed because Michael was sick, but has just been rescheduled for March 2015. You might want to keep an eye on the "Events" page, because Michael is starting to schedule new tour dates for March and April. So far, we only have a few, but they keep popping up. On page 124 of this thread, on December 1^st, my friend Sylvia posted links to 12 videos taken at the Paducah show. BTW, the thread initially started with YouTube videos, but when we find new videos on Vimeo etc, we still post them there if we think they haven’t been seen before. Hey Joshua, you thought Michael sounded his best in Arcada and just on the 29th, though he sounded amazing, in Paducah, he sounded like he had a touch of a cold. Just goes to show how amazing our Michael is! :D I am sure he'll blow you away sweetie so enjoy! I still have 66 days to go for mine, but I'm enjoying the reviews and videos on the tour thread right now. BTW, atip from a fan who went to the Illinois show: when you get to the merchandise table, ask the guy if there will be a book or CD signing after the show. In Illinois, he gave out sticky notes with numbers and you could have something signed and maybe have a quick chat and a quick picture taken. Good luck! Take care Joshua. Hi Joshua, first of all, I'm really happy you're getting tickets to the Durant show! I have a friend in Tulsa who's going too. Will you be going with your mom or grandma? In any case, I'm sure you'll have a fabulous time! If you're able to either check the venue web site or get in touch with the venue, you might want to find out if Michael will be doing a book or CD signing after the show. Now, usually, when you get a friend request, you get an E-mail letting you know. If you didn't, that's okay: just go to my page and under my name and location, there should be a link that says: "add as friend", just click on it. :D This site has so many things to discover: the best thing to do is experiment. It took me a while to figure out some things myself... :D If you have questions about the site or even Michael Joshua, let me know. Hi Folks and I hope you don't mind me dropping you this note with below link and it is to a thread that Gail has started in the forum and she is asking who would be interested in purchasing memorabilia of MB's as there is a girl who wishes to donate her collection of things which include CD's, t-shirts, magazine articles, photos etc. to MBC for them to either sell or auction and benefit from the proceeds but before they take on such a task they are wondering just how many would be interested in any of the items and I believe you can appreciate that it is largely up to us outside of the States to show willing because, in the same way that this girl has collected all her memorabilia, so to have a large number of the fans in the States as Michael obviously tours and toured their far more often and therefore gave them the opportunity to purchase things which, we outside the States, didn't have the same opportunity to purchase and this is why I am asking you if you are interested to PLEASE let Gail know on the thread so that she can pass information onto Andrena at MBC who will then decide if to go ahead with or not ......if we do not let Gail know this opportunity for us to collect will disappear and remember too there could be signed things.....obviously don't know for definite but there could be !! :)    PLEASE if you are interested come into the thread and let Gail know, PLEASE !!! :)
