Hey Thresa, I couldn’t let this day pass without wishing you a wonderful concert tonight! Hey Thresa, that’s the way to start the day: bright & early! About sax players, Joe Turano was there ‘til ’98, Scott Mayo in ’02 & think Jason (JP Delaire) joined in 03, nice friendly guy. Ooh, cool about hanging out with the crew: they have even more stories! :D Aww, you’re so sweet, thanks for the offer Thresa! I’d need to ask hubby about the T-shirt, money’s a bit tight and I’ve already asked for a tour book,because of my questions being answered, thank goodness it’s only $10! Is your seat close to the stage @ your concert? My friend Sylvia from Tx was the only one who brought him flowers and when she gave them to him, he held her finger for a moment as he sang, can you imagine? Her story is in here:

Jaana from Finland who’s another one of my friends, writes such enthusiastic reviews, you can’t help but be excited for her! The thread is full of concert reviews, pics & even videos. In 03, my friend took me to the stage and called out to MB after the show & held up my hand. He came & put his hand in mine and closed my fingers on his guitar pick, I was in shock! Lol I still carry it around every day, how’s that for nutty? Lol After/during WAMLAW, you know you can get to the stage so take a chance!
Oh yes I did get that message, I copied it and deleted it, because I have to take time & do a serious cleanup of my 200+ messages! Some fans said Bruno had the fakest smile ever… Hard to tell what he was thinking. I’ve heard he was supposed to be on Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday but didn’t watch it. Hi Thresa, I’m glad I caught you in time for MB’s song on Tuesday! That song was so amazing and to think Michael learned it in one hour! I’ve read quite a few posts from non-fans who said they were fans now, because of that performance… Oh, before I forget, Payten has offered fans to send them the mp3 of the song, since we’re not supposed to upload music on the site, isn’t she nice? OMG, aren’t you lucky to have been so chummy with the band! Good luck indeed: most of the members have changed now. Which sax player are you talking about, Joe Turano or JP Delaire? I met Scott Mayo, Land, Chris, Janis, Tre, Schuyler, Joey Melotti and of course Orrin in 02 and Jason in 04. Have you held Michael’s hand at the stage at least? Ahh, how disappointing about your 40th b-day present but when you’re a mom, your babies need you, no matter how old they are… Thresa, meeting Michael is not a schoolgirl’s dream, it’s a call from the heart to want to return all that Michael makes us feel and maybe validation for the support, it’s deep stuff… :D My kids are 25, 18, 15 and almost 13, no grandkids yet but that’s perfectly fine. OMG Thresa, can you believe this song? Wasn’t it freaking awesome? Ever since the first time I’ve heard this song, I’ve been looking for the perfect version, but it hadn’t been recorded yet! Lol We’re all hoping it’s on Michael’s Christmas CD! We’re just speculating right now though… It was said that Susan Boyle was supposed to sing this song and that’s why Michael sang it, but can you imagine him not recording it after such a performance? Girl, it was on Youtube right after the show: there are at least 2 or 3 uploads that have been seen over 300 times each! Hi Thresa, just read your post on Eileen’s page about enjoying her music. Guess you haven’t had time to learn how to upload your own huh? That’s really too bad. I know that there are a couple of threads in the “off topic” section that could help you, once you have time. There’s the “hints and tips” thread and the “the music player on here” thread also. I might do it myself at some point too, but it would probably be only one song, if I can figure out how to turn an RM file into mp3, because I’ve heard you can only upload mp3’s. I was ready, and did watch my friend, he did ok tonight. The others are all very good contenders. We have to tell all of our frends to vote for Michael and Chelsie. I think Michael will loosen up as the show gets underway, we all have to vote him to the top, as we know, Michael does deserve this. We have to make it happen for him, right!!!!
All the kids i have, are voting for Michael and Chelsie too! On their cells. computers and everywhere voting is possibe. We can make it happen, no doubt...

Ah Thresa, how could I forget about you? :D I’ve missed you too! I’ve been keeping busy though and even made a couple of more friends since the last time we spoke. Am I ready for DWTS? Hi Thresa, thank you for the good wishes sweetie! We’ve been married 24 years and have 4 beautiful children! Oh I don’t get to go out very often either, trust me! But since this is 2 special events in one, it’s kind of important. My husband is very good with dates, I’m blessed!  OMG, the song “The prayer” is just gorgeous! A lot of people have apparently recorded this song but this is my favorite version… And yes, he'll be singing in Italian! Michael will be on “DWTS” from September 20th on. I’m so excited, apparently, Canadians can vote this year! Of course, I’ve never watched it for obvious reasons but I will this year! Orrin released a CD in 2001 called “Freedom” and I do have it. Hi Thresa, you're so sweet! Oh I’m doing well, thanks for asking. How are you? My husband and I went out tonight for my birthday/anniversary on Monday: refined French cuisine, filet mignon, crème brûlée, complete with French fries! Lol We don’t go out often and this is one of our fav restaurants Le biftèque”, doesn’t that sound cliché? :D Oh my boys are going back to school this week, one on Monday and the other one on Wednesday, I believe. I’ve found out a couple of days ago that Michael’s brother Orrin’s CD is coming out tomorrow and we’ll be bying it sight/unseen, which is pretty much the way I do everything…  There has been a lot of talk about Michael doing duets with a lot of people lately: Elaine Paige on her CD, Tony Cetinski on his CD, Mica Paris on his own CD and we still don’t know if his song “The prayer” will be a duet or not. Have you heard Michael might be on “dancing with the stars”? We’ll apparently find out on Monday. Wow, I’m long-winded, aren’t I? lol Well, I have to be off anyway or I’ll be scolded for going to bed too late. Ah, don’t mind me sweetie, I’m just a stickler for accuracy, it’s probably my biggest fault! :D I only found out in ’95 that Michael had a brother, when Orrin appeared on Oprah with him and sang a Michael penned song “Please come home”. Oprah talked to Orrin for about a minute after his performance and he was so nervous, poor kid… I thought that was sweet because he wasn’t like:”Look at me, I’m MB’s brother!”, you know? When I heard Orrin had a CD, I was curious so I bought it. With the CD, there was this signed card from Orrin and his E-mail address was on it so I decided to write and tell him what I thought of it and he responded!So I kept writing to him from time to time, even when he didn’t respond. In 2002, I met him at the MBC fan reception and he remembered me from the E-mails, I was stunned! Anyway,he knows I support him, I write and 1 out of 10 times, he responds, but I’ll tell ya, those responses count!My pic with him was taken the second time I met him in ’04, hee-hee, cool you think we make a cute couple… :D No, I’ve never met Sandra because she didn’t come to the fan receptions, but I’ve met Michael’s mom who’s adorable, his cousin Kaye, his daughter Holly and Orrin’s son Oliver in ’02 also. I’ve followed Michael this closely because first, music is like oxygen to me and second, Michael is the musical love of my life!  He used to say in early interviews that he wanted us to take him personally and I do… Okay Thresa, I’ve rambled long enough. Thresa, it is a pleasure to be your friend. A meet and greet is the name for meeting a celebrity before or after a show. Some are individual and some are in groups. Some of the venues will set these up and sometimes they charge a bit more for the tickets and sometimes at places such as casinos they will set them up for their customers. There are ones that fans win through contests and auctions. When the fan club was in exsistence they used to have contests for fans to win a meet and greet with Michael. I am hoping they will soon set up some contests for some on Michael's current site. Gail
