Hi Thresa, I love questions so keep them coming! Okay first, Photoshop, of course! Lol I’m kidding… I actually met Orrin in ‘02 and ‘04, at the MBC fan reception: this picture was taken in the Stanford Mariot lounge, after the ‘04 gala. Notice how he’s snuggling? :D I bought his CD in 2001 and wrote to him, to tell him what I thought of it and he responded,I couldn’t believe it! I kept writing to him throughout the year, he didn’t respond often but I didn’t really mind. When I met him in’02, he said:”Oh yes, Sylvie from Canada, I remember you from the E-mnails!” I was just stunned! Orrin is a sweetheart and I love him dearly. He'll have a new CD out soon and I can't wait to get it! Second question, Rocio Fernandez is the webmaster to the michaelboltonthevoice.com English/Spanish web site. Ooh, in her “latest news” page, in early October, you could find my review of “One world one love”, 3 days after I got the CD!  Thir question: not soon enough! Lol (sigh) Michael had come at least 4 times to Montreal before I could finally attend a show and it took him 10 years, 8 months and 6 days to come back, when he did in April of last year. He said he’d come back for the next record, but I’m still waiting. I can’t afford traveling to see him right now so have to wait until he comes back here, unfortunately. In the meantime, I’ll just have to live the concert experience vicariously through my Bolton buds! So there you go Thresa, the question booth is open ‘til 11:00! Hey Thresa, good to hear from you! I’ve always wondered what year Michael divorced. I was under the impression it was around 1990, because he once said in an interview “you don’t want to hang up from your lawyer and go sing “Love is a wonderful thing””… Oh yes, I know about Black Jack, have the albums on record and CD and the Bolotin albums too. Oh I remember those early interviews and you could sense that this guy was solid, focused and committed to anything he did. Have you ever heard the “Wolfgang’s vault” interview? If you haven’t, feast your ears on this:

I have to warn you though: it’s a long interview, 41 minutes I believe, but it is so worth it! You just have to register for free. Ooh, that reminds me, on the “Follow-up info for the history enthusiast” thread, I’ve uploaded a 1991 interview on a Canadian show that’s also fantastic: Michael sings a bit of the very first song he ever wrote, when he was 12! I would love to hear any story of an MB concert! There’s a fabulous thread in “general chat” I think called “16 years ago today…”, where people talk about their first concert experience and it’s just wonderful, filled with great stories, I highly recommend it! Hi Thresa, I was roaming around on someone else's page and came across a neat, concise explaination on how to upload your picture onto your page and I'll paste it here.
"Click on your name and it will open on the profile page.
Over on the left hand side it says 'manage your page and manage your photo. Click on the photo link.
Next to the photo box click in browse and the folders will open on your pc. Find your photograph and click on it then click on 'open'.
The link will to your photo will appear in the box.
Click on save and your image will apear. (down the page a little on the right)
Your photo will now appear."

Hi again Thresa, Aww, I’m glad you’re feeling more connected with your family, it has to be hard when they live far. Thanks for putting a big smile on my face Thresa… No, that’s not my husband, that’s Michael’s brother Orrin! :D I first met him in 2002, but this picture was taken in 2004. Oh, I’m not too computer-savvy myself but I try. I fell in love with Michael’s voice when I heard “When I’m back on my feet again”, back in ’89, I guess. When I asked my husband to find me the song, he bought me “Time love and tenderness” on tape instead. I quickly realized my song wasn’t on the album but listening to that voice, that passion, that soul… I was hooked and had to buy anything I could find of his and have ever since. My husband enrolled me in the MBPlatinum Club in 2000 and the rest is history! Now I’d like to hear your story: how long you’ve been a fan, etc. Hee-hee, I didn’t know it was cool to live in Canada! Lol There are fans from all over the world here Thresa: I have friends in the Netherlands, Australia, the U.K and even Romania, I love it! Break a leg on uploading your pictures and such. Hi Thresa, aww, it’s too bad your granddaughter lives so far away… Your kids haven’t hooked you up with a webcam yet? At least, you’d be able to see her almost anytime you wanted. They’re so adorable at that age… I’m not sure how many pictures you can upload onto your page. I’ve heard you can make virtual photo albums. I suggest you check out the “hints and tips” thread in the "off topic" discussion or get in touch with Jennifer Steadman: she’s very knowledgeable about such things. My son helped me upload my picture with Michael’s brother Orrin. Ah sadly Threasa, your wonderful pictures would be lost on me sweetie because I’m blind. I use a screen-reader program that talks. Ah, the things we have to do to attend a Michael concert! My husband and I once drove from the Montreal area to Connecticut: 8 solid hours! I’ve had to travel for most of my 7 concerts. You must be so thrilled to go see Michael soon: less than 2 months! Well, as I’ve said, I’ll do my best to help with your questions. Hi Thresa, first of all, you’re very welcome. Some questions are easier to answer and since Michael seems to have a lack of time, I like to help! :D Oh yes, I have 4 kids ranging in age from 25 to 12 but no grandkids yet. My niece had a baby recently though and I held her when she was a day old. I’ll tell ya, when it happens, I’m gonna be one grandma who spoils her grandkids rotten! I’m glad my eldest is in no hurry though. I’m glad you get to see your granddaughter! Oh I’m sure Michael is as excited as Taryn is about the baby. He’s so adorable when he talks about his girls. BTW, I’ve been on this forum since the beginning so if you have questions about it, I’ll do my best to help. I haven’t checked the events in a while, will you be able to see Michael in your neck of the woods anytime soon? He came here last year and promise to be back for the “next record” but I’m still waiting. I hope he comes back up here next year. Nice talking to you Threasa, take care.
