Attention Barry Manilow fans!!

Hey all you Fanilows!!

 

I made this annoucement on facebook, but then thought some of you are not members over there and thought you would like to know some latest news on Barry.........

 

First, Barry is also releasing a "Duets" CD in the middle of May.  If you go on Amazon.com, you can see the artists and list of songs.  I noticed that some of these songs he recorded in the past, but a few may be new....not really sure but will find out!!!

 

Barry's CD named "15 Minutes" will be released in the near future.  This CD has all new songs, so this will be a must have for me and any Fanilow!!!!

 

If you go on Barry's web site Manilow.com, there is a contest to see Barry Live in New York City, Valentine's Day of next year!!!!!  Just go and sign up to be on his mailing list and you have a chance to win a trip and see the Great one live!!!  I did!!!!   :)

 

If you go on Elton John's facebook page, there is a trivia contest and you can win a pair of Tickets to see Billy Elliot on Broadway.  I only got three out of six answers right, so no luck for me....rats!!!  I hope to buy tickets and see the show sometime this year...would love to see it!!!

 

By the way, if anyone here is on facebook and would like to be friends with me over there (some of you already are, thank you!!), I'm using the name Bella Starr, instead of my real name.  So send me an invite and we can keep in touch on facebook too!!!   :)

I just entered and got them all right??? I put my friends details in so hopefully she will win the Billy Elliot tickets!!

Barry will be on QVC on May 26 at 8:00pm Eastern time, to introduce his new CD called "15 Minutes"!!!!!!   Mark it down on your Calendars!!!!   Can't wait to see Barry and order his new CD!!!!!!!   :)

That is great Glora!!  Well I won't win the Billy Elliot tickets since I only got three right, but if someone I know wins that is great!!  My fingers are crossed to see Barry!!!  God how I wish to win that!!!!   :)

Barry Manilow was on the BBC 1 'The one show' this evening and sad to say, he looks awful now.

 

He's had so much surgery that his skin looked really taught and he couldnt seem to make proper facial expressions anymore. He couldnt move his head either and he looked so plastic looking.

 

He sang a littel bit too, but even that didnt sound right at all. He couldnt pronounce his words properly because he couldnt open his mouth properly and looked like he was having problems understanding what was being asked of him? Part of that could have been the accents, but he didnt look at all comfortable.

 

It was all a bit sad really. I love listening to him singing, and used to really love him in his younger days, but to see his in such a sorry state made me feel really awful for him. It's obvious he desperately trying to hang onto his youth and its not working.

 

I really wish he'd have left himself alone and not had all that surgery.

 

I'll try and find a link for you to see the show from tonight, and I think you'd be really shocked and upset at his appearance. What a shame for such a previously talented man. Really sad, really sad. I'm gutted, truly gutted.
