Release of Lonely Island CD

A few months ago Michael posted about being involved in and Andy Samberg project...well it is being released on May 10th and Michael is featured in a track entitled Jack Sparrow.  Check out more info here:

thanks for your hint!. The photos are very interesting. E.G, I thought the sky behind him as Captain Sparrow was computer animated - perhaps nature was not that expensive LOL.

Hi ladies, I love that he's sharing all this with us, the behind the scenes photos are priceless. Did you see with the Erin character he even has on fake fingernails!!! OMG too funny...He was probably cracking up at himself in that getup most of all....Too funny.  The song has a great hook to it and I do like it actually..can't get it out of my head now!!LOL

I have put a few of the photos that Michael published in Facebook over in the photo thread if anyone is interested and, as I have said , if Admin. would rather that they not be there please just say and I will take them out !!

thanks for sharing the link. I can watch the video like I can watch it on youtube - without censored lyrics LOL. But just in case Germany will close it, which unfortunately happens quite often, it is good to have this one too.

When the video starts and Michael walks into the room and shakes hands with the guys, did any of you notice the makeup on him?!?!?  He is wearing the blush and lip gloss from his Erin Brockovich costume!!!!!  I thought my glasses were acting up again, but there is Michael dressed liked himself with blush and lip gloss (maybe eyeliner & Mascara too!!) when he meets the guys.....LOL!!!!  Was that done on purpose, or did someone forgot to tell Michael to take the makeup off his face?!?!  Guess Michael can now get a part on the Broadway show "La Cage Aux Folles"!!!  :)

Also, in the area of the pictures where Michael and two of the guys are sitting on the Beach relaxing...behind them in the background, looks like the Parchute Jump at Coney Island!!!  Did they film the Captain Jack part here in Brooklyn?!?!?  Maybe I'm mistaken and they filmed this out in Los Angeles, but in the past a few music video's have been filmed at Coney Island (mostly to show the beach & amusement park).  I know Air Supply and the Italian singer Eros Ramazotti have filmed here.  Or maybe Michael and the crew were at Brighton Beach, since the Parachute Jump looks kind of far off from where they were sitting.  Just wondering?!?!   :)

I know Michael wants to venture out in music but this project with Lonely Island group is something awful to me. Michael being a granddad now and a much admired love song singer I see no reason for this kind of vulgar singing in the name of comedy. I wouldn't want my grandkids listen to it. I have been listening to Michael sing now for twenty years and bought every CD he has made and about that many concerts. I have even preordered Michael's Gems CD and Tshirt. I will not buy the CD which features Michael on Lonely Island. This comment may get deleted or may get the preordered CD and Tshirt canceled. Oh well I feel better now anyway. Surely there is someone out there that understands my comment about Michael's venture with The Lonely Island. Censored would be a lot better.

I strongly disagree, Jimmy.  Not everything in this world has to be suitable for kids.  We adults get to have fun too.  You thought it was vulgar; I thought it was hilarious.  Censoring the arts scares me big time.  We all have the option to watch/buy or not.  To each his own.

Hi Jimmy and Judy, Jimmy, I understand what you’re saying and I’m not planning on buying the CD either. If anything, I’d buy Michael’s track on ITunes and write it off as a guilty pleasure, because I love his vocals on it. Now, I don’t know about this CD, but there are album versions with “clean” lyrics. As Judy says, it’s a personal choice. Michael decided to do this one project: it’s not like he’s going to put out a full album of this stuff. I am and will always support Michael, but I do agree that  this is the kind of stuff I try to keep away from my kids, but even if I keep it out of my computer, it’s elsewhere. Noone is forcing you to buy this sweetie, but I do hope you keep supporting Michael for what he does best. Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
