Here we go with the New 2011 Concert Tour Review Thread. Michael's tour begins again in the USA in Florida on January 13, 2011!!!!!!!!  I hope Michael is well rested and ready to get back out on the road!

 

Please share your concert experiences, pictures, video links etc. with us here. We love hearing about the concerts and the great times had by the fans.

You all have made these threads fun in the past and I look forward to more adventures and fun this year!!

I look forward to reading everyone's reviews once again and also contributing some of my own in 2011!

Thanks for the reminder Robin Md......I almost missed my flight!!!!!!!!! LOL Don't I wish!!!!!!! LOL  Oh I hope we get some more reviews!!! The Ct. reviews and all of Germany...oh my...it has been a blast reading them all!!! Would make Michael proud indeed :))))

      HI!  I know there are great reviews however, here goes mine finally!  I do hope you Michael especially, and everybody enjoys reading.

 

 

     Michael Bolton and Kenny G

     Beacon Theater  New York  NY

     Sun, June 19th, 2011  8 pm

 

 

     Kenny G. opened the show for Michael Bolton, playing tunes like, "Forever In Love", "Silhouette", "Besame Mucho", "Songbird", and many more

     tunes I cannot remember, sorry about that, lol.  Kenny sounded awesome! There was all colorful lights flashing throughout the concert on the stage.

     My blessed seat was high up in the balcony section and allow me to say that the music was pretty darn loud from where I was sitting.

     Kenny held like a raffle sort-of contest.  The winner receiving, Kenny's HS saxophone, was a lady named Kate who happened to be a music teacher.

     Also, Kenny had autographed his latest CD also for purchase.

     Finally, Michael appears and sings, "Love Is Everything", from his Gems CD.  Michael sang, "To Love Somebody". 

     Michael now then had Miss Delta Goodrem appear on the stage to join him, singing, "I'm Not Ready" from his Gems, THE DUETS COLLECTION.

     I must say, "they sounded Great as a duet". Michael sang also, "Summertime", "Sweet Home Chicago", "Said I Loved You But I Lied", however,

     I do not remember if the song, "The "Prayer" was sung or not.  The song, "In The Name Of Love" was sung by Michael from his Gems CD and

     he sounded so good.  There was a brief intermission by the band, playing a tune, "They Can't Take that Away from Me".

     Then shortly there after, Michael appeared in the audience singing, "When A Man Loves A Woman", followed by the song, "Nessun Dorma".

     By the way, Michael's whole band and with two lady vocalists, sounded so great.  Saxophonist Michael Linton received many appaulses too.

     Towards the end of the show Michael did a duet with Orianthi, an astounding acquistic girl guitarist, to the new rendition (new make of)

     "Steel Bars",  they sounded amazing!  Michael & his band closed the concert with the usual lineup boughing for his audience.

      Please allow me to say,"Michael the finest musician of all time!  Incredible show...!

Hi Martha, Thanks so much for sharing your review! Yes the concerts have been amazing with all these new songs and the one in NYC was special too with Delta Goodrem and Orianthi and Kenny G being there with MB I bet. I loved seeing Orianthi an Delta Goodrem at the show after yours at CT...  Thanks so much for posting!
