Thanks Helena and Eileen :) Michael's concerts are all great fun ...but some....are simply indescribable and if you are lucky to attend one of those...WOW!!! His CT concert sounded like one of those experiences and I am sure there were many more and definitely even more to come!!! Everyone enjoy "our" Michael out there and be sure to come back here and write a review so Michael will hopefully get word of our appreciation for all his hard "work" for our enjoyment! Now...back to the good part!!!

Kathy, what a fantastic review.  I've been offline for a few days due to losing power from Irene..what a way to come back!  Hope all are safe from this storm.  It was scary and still don't have power.  Was suppose to leave for vacation today and decided to go ahead so now have electricity for a while.  Thanks again..can't wait for the next one!!  Gail

Glad to hear you are okay Gail after Irene and too that you decided to go on your break for life has to try and come back to some form of normality pretty quickly to help all those who have been affected, one way or another, by such a tragic event.........have a super holiday Gail ! :)

Gail, so glad to hear you are safe from the storm...sounds like you indeed need a vacation!!  Been through a few hurricanes myself

and they are not fun but it does bring everyone together...glad you're back

Glad you are ok Gail..Hope the power at home is back soon..OMG this storm caused so many problems...around here not as bad as other places but quite a few local areas have no power...trees down still etc..One of the elementary and one high school in my county did not start today, no power..

Enjoy your vacation!  Great reviews here to come back to!!!

Well, needless to say, the Mountain Winery concert was, as everyone has already stated-- excellent!  The night was gorgeous and perfect for this open-air amphitheater, which lent itself well to Michael's amiability with the audience.  Of course Michael walked and wooed the audience with "When A Man Loves A Woman"-- with minimal security! -- the audience was fairly well behaved, but the camera's flashed like crazy, in spite of the no-flash rule.  I took my 10-year old daughter with me-- this was the culmination of a mini-vacation to Calif. for us, after spending a day in Frisco, then a day at Six Flags/Discovery Kingdom, and then a day at the Winchester Mystery House.  But after that concert she had us listening to Michael for at least seven of the 10-hour drive home today!  SO--  New favorite songs are made!  (PS.  Also, Kenny G was so kind as to sign her ticket for her!)

Thank you so much for your review of the concert at the Mountain Winery and am so pleased to hear you had such a wonderful time and glad to hear too that your daughter was with you and enjoyed the show and, more importantly, that we have another Bolton Buddy to welcome into the "Bolton family" so I extend a very warm welcome to your daughter and hope she will and can enjoy all the stories of Bolton adventures that get told on this thread !! :)

Hi Mer, I know you’ve been posting on the blogs of this site for a good while, but since this is your first post on a discussion thread, I’ll join Sylvia in welcoming you! Thank you for sharing your review and adding your personal touch. I think the “no flash” policy is standard for venues, but since a particular incident in Düsseldorf last year, Michael had been making a point of announcing that he was perfectly fine with people taking as many pictures and videos as they wanted, because he knows it enhances the fan experience. How sweet that you took your 10 year old and she’s a fan now! It sounds like this is a concert she’ll never forget… Well, glad you’ve had a wonderful time, thanks again for sharing Mer and don’t be shy, post often! Take care. Hi Mer and WELCOME to all things Michael here on this forum!!! Your concert sounds like it was a wonderful time!! Glad you had no heat like we had in Vegas for Michael's concert....though fortunately the concert was INSIDE!!! lol I hope "fairly well behaved" meant NO thongs on stage!!! LOL Seven hours of Michael singing is very healthy!!! lol Glad you had a great time Mer :)
