Here we go with the New 2011 Concert Tour Review Thread. Michael's tour begins again in the USA in Florida on January 13, 2011!!!!!!!! I hope Michael is well rested and ready to get back out on the road!

Please share your concert experiences, pictures, video links etc. with us here. We love hearing about the concerts and the great times had by the fans.

I had a great time at the concert in Biloxi last night. Michael and the whole band was awesome.

It was the first time I got to hear Sweet Home Chicago live. What a treat!! He also sang (not in this order) Soul Provider, Hope Its Too Late, Love is Everything, Said I Loved You, To Love Somebody, Dock of the Bay, Summertime, You Don't Know Me, Make You Feel My Love, The Prayer, Some where over the Rainbow, WAMLAW, How Can We Be Lovers, Time Love and Tenderness, Nessun Dorma, and Pride in the Name of Love.

If he sang something else, I don't remember because my feet are still off the ground. I hate like hell he did not sing Steel Bars. I know he can not sing every song but he needs to find a way to keep that one in each concert.

Although I have been to Biloxi many times, I had never been to the Beau Rivage. The theatre seats 1500, and it looked sold out to me. When I booked my seats online, I thought they were awful. They turned out to be excellent.. In fact, even the people in the nose bleed section had great seats. The audience was not wild but appreciative. In other words we were mature and rather boring but I had great time. As usual he told us we could make a lot of noise but my friend told me to stop because I sang along to everything. All my friends tell me to lip sync because I may be the world's worst singer. I continued to "sing" along anyway. What a voice, Michael Bolton has; he sang each song as well or better than his recorded version.

The only sad thing about the concert was Michael performance of I Hope Its Too Late. I love that song and he sang it well but the hand movement was so sad. It's like he is not in sync with the music as he attempts to make the clock circle. It is hard as hell for me to do too. In addition to my inability to sing, I lack the coordination to dance. I have tried and tried and tried the hand movement and I can't get it right either. Loved that he tried and I hope he continues to sing the song. Just please no more hand movements with this song. Snapping his fingers to the beat like on the RAH movie is fine. Just leave the clock movements to the back up singers. I had seen a clip of him singing the song that way on YouTube and the first thing that came to my mind when he announced the song was please don't try to make the circle.

I am glad I got to see him live again. He is the very best. On second thought, MB leave the hand movement in. The only way to get it right is to keep trying. We are never too old or too important to improve. So I will continue to try to move my hand to the beat too. I hope we both get it right.

Hi Lue and welcome to the forum!!!! Sounds like you had a great concert with all the new songs from GEMS!!!! I wish I got to hear him sing Over the Rainbow live!!! Lucky you!!! I have heard the other songs when Delta performed with him. Did any other duet guests perform with Michael? Thanks so much for sharing your review with us!!! Join us often to get your "Michael Fix" when you aren't at one of his concerts!!! lol Michael is the very best ....even with the clock movement....LOL...:)

I'm not new, just not a frequent poster.I do not remember the name of the guest he had with him. She is not on Gems and was ok. She is no Helene Fischer, Lara Fabian or Paula Fernandes, but she was ok. I was hoping for Helene Fischer or Lara Fabian live.

Hi! Sounds like a great concert in Biloxi! Glad your seats turned out better than you thought. Don't let your friends tell you to stop singing! You keep right on going. Michael enjoys the company! I'm not a very good singer either, but I will join Michael in song everytime! You got to hear a great song list. I love You Don't Know Me and look forward to hearing it live someday. Pride must also be wonderful in concert. I completely understand about the clock movements. I've seen Michael do them in concert and I'm glad to hear he's still practicing! He'll get it one of these days! Takes a lot of coordination.

Hi Lue,

Thanks a million for a great review and I am so glad you got to see Michael and that your seats turned out good but your friend is a spoil sport telling you not to sing and imagine you telling Michael not to do his clock.....but you know something, I don't blame you......have seen that clock losing the time completely and it ain't a pretty sight: yeah, practice, practice and more practice is what somebody needs - oh, did I just say that....sorry Michael !!! LOL.
