Working on New CD - 2011

Well as you have seen posted in other threads, Michael is recording and working on his next CD.  I found this yesterday and thought you would enjoy.  Any findings or info you find on the new CD...please post it here..thanks!

You know the Rascal Flatts boys have been collaborating with Justin Beiber.

Now it seems the mega-country group is going with, uh, the opposite demographic.

Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts put up a picture of his group with Michael Bolton.

Jay tweets that they’re all writing a new song for Michael’s new album.

Won’t Justin be jealous?

thank for sharing this interesting article. The challenges of the indian music industry was completely new to me and I think A R Rahman explained his point of view very well. Thanks again

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you all know, for those of you fellow collectors who are still looking for all international versions of "Gems", that according to Rita Guerra's Facebook page, the Portuguese version won't be released  this year, due to legal problems. The good news is we can at least let our wallets rest for a while! lol If anyone hears anything about the South African one, do keep us posted. Thanks for information Sylvie and can I ask you are there definitely two still to come; a Portugese and South African version or was I not getting mixed up in thinking because Judith Sephuma is South African that there was going to be an edition on Gems released there whereas she is to be included in the Portugese version:  is that not the case ???? :)

Hey Sylvia, yes sweetie: the Portuguese version and the South African versions are 2 separate releases. I asked if anyone who knew anything about the SA release would let us know since the Portuguese one is on ice for a while. I really feel bad for them expecting to get a promised CD tailored to their area and not getting it. Well let's hope legal troubles will settle quickly. Take care Sylvia. Thanks for information Sylvie for you already know it is the one with Judith Sephuma that I want to get my hands on.....I have a very, very strong liking for the true African/Negro voice !!  Thanks again Sylvie !!! :)

Know it is off topic here but couldn't think where else to put and it is to say that I get Reader's Digest and yesterday I got an advertisement from them for four new products they have got out and one of those is CD's and a DVD by Katherine Jenkins and they have included "O Holy Night" with none other than Michael Bolton...... know it is on one of Katherine's CD's but thought rather good advertisement for MB as his name appears on the second line of the short run down of the songlist and with the bold lettering they have used it stands out and how many customers does RD have ????? :)     My brother got MB's "Secret Passion" last year so have a guess what he is getting this year as that extra pressy......???? :)

I agree with you Jeanne that I wish Michael would do another aria CD and whether or not one of collaborations I am still thinking about  because I certainly would love one with quite a few different people I can think of like Andrea Bocelli for one and wonder if Michael will perform with him on 9th December at Andrea's event for the formation of his charitable foundation......would love to hear those two voices together !!! :)
