2012 TOUR REVIEW THREAD-PLEASE SHARE YOUR 2012 MB CONCERT ADVENTURES WITH US HERE!!!!
HELLO EVERYONE, Since the 2011 Tour Review Thread is not playing nice and throwing us all back to the beginning lately, Gail asked if I would go ahead and start the 2012 thread. So here it is.. We can all share our excitement for Michael's upcoming touring and events in 2012 and chat and have fun here till the shows start in 2012.
Everyone is welcome to post and share their stories and pictures, videos from concerts and trips to see Michael do what he does best-SING!!! Michael will be touring in 2012 starting so far with some shows the end of January. There could be other events sooner too so if anyone attends a great Bolton event/concert, feel free to share your experience here. I hope to have a review after the Chester, PA show on January 28th along with some other fans that have gotten tickets for that show and the Atlantic City, NJ show on January 27th as well! After that there are shows in Australia so far listed for 2012. Following those shows we have the Concert for MBC and Traveler's Golf Event in June, 2012 and later on the MBC Gala in Sept.. We already have some exciting events to look forward to next year and I know there will be much more to come.
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum.. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as before.

Thanks Robin and to Wee One, too, for sharing the MB Team comments about Copenhagen, sounds like it was as great a venue as suspected and grand time for all. Look forward to many more reviews today and photos, too.

He has at the last 3 concerts I attended, Robin. Security can sometimes be a pain in the you know where even though I know they are just trying to do what they are trained to do, coming from the widow of 2 police chiefs I know. As the 4th approaches I would like to say a big huge THANKS to those people who help protect us. They just need to remember to also honor our MB's wishes at the concerts he so generously keeps us entertained and happy at. I just did a potluck on my 5 disc cd player, all loaded with MB right now, guess what came up? "I'll Be There." WOW, nothing more fitting for the 4th could have played.
P. S. Please correct me if I have the name of this song incorrect, I have misplaced the cd holder.

Hey Kathy in Tulsa, I’ll join you in those wishes sweetie and I know our Michael would be proud to join you in this wish as well. I think as far as security is concerned, the key word here is respect because if both parties respected each other’s rights, concerts would go smoother. I wish to all Americans for that matter a fabulous Independence Day! Oh BTW, the song title you were looking for is “Reach out, I’ll be there” so there you go girl. Michael Bolton and band dished up with something that resembles a three-course menu this summer in the DR Concert Hall. A nice appetizer, a main course and a little tough as a bold and delicious dessert. Bon appetit!
The love fin When Bolton is in town, there are also so many overgrown teenagers who will see their good old 90s-idol. This night was no exception, and DR Concert Hall oozed so the expectation from both the "småforelskede teeenagepiger" as from the cool rock boys who would lurk tricks from the stadium rocker.
They have high expectations, however, was very quickly turned a trifle down, as it turned out that on previous occasions has been a nine-piece band, this evening had shrunk to six - and the result was that the vast majority chorus was ended on back track. Æv. In addition, it was as though there was some initial difficulties. Perhaps they had not slept well, maybe it was hard with the sound, but Bolton and the band spent just a few numbers to get started.
But then came the turn too. When they reached I Said I Loved You But I Lied beat Bolton inner diva from its finest side - and that's a compliment! The raw sound is intact, he is still cool, and he also quickly charmed her audience with not a few brave and warm comments that created good laughs in the great hall. Not least among a very festive Finnish woman who undoubtedly had been looking forward very much to be able to "meet" his great (musical) love by shouting incomprehensible English from the floor (to the great amusement of the audience as well as Bolton).
"It's so hard to sing duets alone" After a lovely right in the soft end came the main course. And it had to come. With a venue like this, a penchant for pompous arias and a newly released album with a series of magnificent duets, it was impossible to ignore: the crossover right! On the rock and / or pop singers embarking on the more classical style, and I am sorry to say it, but it simply is so rare it keeps. There is no doubt that Bolton sings great, but his Pavarotti-adventure is still a little hard to take entirely seriously.

But with very few exceptions, keeps the water because he sings like he does. Because he makes songs to his own, and have left its mark on them hoarse. Furthermore, it is great to see musicians who enjoy playing, and although the band chorus was a little stone in the shoe, so the musicians were super chic. Especially on Sweet Home Chicago where it shone out of them that they really enjoyed their jobs, and both Bolton and guitarist gave the audience the guitar solos that gave a standing ovation.
The musical surprise and big smile Another that aroused cheers were saxophonist. Michael Lington is a Dane, and after having been on tour with Bolton for years, they finally hit his homeland - and it was celebrated and enjoyed. He played two fantastic songs from his own publications and the musicians - they loved it. Especially the "Road Trip" which was played in true jazz style, with lots of solos and chase generated big smiles from them. And the same with the audience.
Was it weird to put a few jazz numbers in this otherwise very comprehensive concert? No, not at all. It all hung together really well, and when the concert was over, was two hours flew by. There was something for every taste, and tonight's concert is all in all, back as a success - as another good night with stylish nostalgia and whole tenor of them all."
