Thanks Sylvia for SHC. Take care sweetie. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi all, these may already be posted on here so forgive me if they are.  But if not you will love them, and we can never watch enough of MB anyway right?

Hi Joy, the fact that you said they were professional rang a bell right away so I listened and sure enough, the videos are taken from "The best of Michael Bolton live" DVD filmed in Rama Ontario in 2004. I pulled out my DVD and my son confirmed with the visuals. But you are so right: we have never enough of Michael and I did listen to "Georgia" entirely! Think I'm overdue for a concert... Hmm, sounds like a perfect way to spend this afternoon... :D Thanks Joy for a beautiful way to start the day, take care sweetie. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi all,

my personal opinion is that Michael does not need any female "duet-support" when he sings "How am I supposed to live without you". What do you think about it?

I still prefer this "solo"-version: How am I supposed to live without you

Your Ivana

Hallo Ivana, well sweetie, I agree that Michael doesn't NEED a duet partner and I do prefer when he sings alone. However, I still very much enjoy his duet of HAISTLWY with Helene Fischer, except I wish she would have left him the last note to himself... :D Some performances with Kelly Levesque are better than others but still enjoyable. It's kind of like saying we can enjoy Michael's DOTB but also Otis Redding's just the same. I will write to you soon liebling, I'm very busy but haven't forgotten about you! :D Take care sweetie. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

I like his solo version but really enjoyed the duet with Kelly this last round of shows. I like it when they mix it up and do things differently after so many years..Just my own opinion. She's got a beautiful voice and it blends very well with MB's..

This is a link to Michael singing "Nessun Dorma" in St. Petersburg, Russia on 5th July, 2012 when he attended the auction for the Federation Foundation and it is a beautiful rendition and MB used his diaphragm to perfection....shoulders weren't lifted once and certainly looks as though the weight lifting is paying off on the lungs !!! :)

Thought you might like to hear and see this video but unfortunately it has no description with it at all .....it was uploaded on 6th July and for Sylvie it shows the Japanese ice skater, Shizuka Arakawa, dancing to Michael singing "Nessun Dorma" and at the end you see Michael standing at the side applauding her.

Hi Sylvia, I think this was part of a series called "Tribute on ice" where a given artist would have 2 hours of various songs they'd sing, with skaters doing programs during that time. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think it was done in late 2006, because I think Michael had just released "Bolton swings Sinatra". I know he had done 2 more skating shows, but according to my archives, the Kurt Browning "Gotta skate" was in 2004 and the "Tribute to movies on ice" was in 2005. Just ruling dates out. Thanks for bringing this over here sweetie: great find! Take care Sylvia. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

P.S.: The vocal performance was from the CD.

Sylvia, that Tribute on Ice  to MB's music was filmed in 2006, I was there in CT in the live audience and recorded it when it aired.  Wynonna Judd also performed at that one.  The skating was amazing done live..And they had people sitting at tables at the end of the rink some where MB did sing most of the time.  We sat center ice. My recording of it is labeled as filmed 11/2006 and air date on NBC 12/16/2006.
