2012 TOUR REVIEW THREAD-PLEASE SHARE YOUR 2012 MB CONCERT ADVENTURES WITH US HERE!!!!
HELLO EVERYONE, Since the 2011 Tour Review Thread is not playing nice and throwing us all back to the beginning lately, Gail asked if I would go ahead and start the 2012 thread. So here it is.. We can all share our excitement for Michael's upcoming touring and events in 2012 and chat and have fun here till the shows start in 2012.
Everyone is welcome to post and share their stories and pictures, videos from concerts and trips to see Michael do what he does best-SING!!! Michael will be touring in 2012 starting so far with some shows the end of January. There could be other events sooner too so if anyone attends a great Bolton event/concert, feel free to share your experience here. I hope to have a review after the Chester, PA show on January 28th along with some other fans that have gotten tickets for that show and the Atlantic City, NJ show on January 27th as well! After that there are shows in Australia so far listed for 2012. Following those shows we have the Concert for MBC and Traveler's Golf Event in June, 2012 and later on the MBC Gala in Sept.. We already have some exciting events to look forward to next year and I know there will be much more to come.
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum.. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as before.

Sorry, lol!..if I'm 'stretching'!! But that's 'Grazy Jaana'...haha!! I remember last summer after my concert trip in Germany and Belgium (in 6 days, 3 concert's), I read rewiev's from those concert's (at home by then)!! One of MB's fan wrote..."I finally met Jaana...You are the Graziest one, but in a most positive way..You put smile on to my face' !!... You can imagine how much fun I had, when I read it...same time remembering how I had acted in Antwerpen, lol! I'm travelling to the Michael's concert's to have fun, and get strenght for my life, from his music and from the way he powerly performing, I LOOOVE that VOICE of his,....to be able to LIVE and ENJOY my life!! It is very, very important medicin for me (not kidding, it's TRUE), makes miracles...I and my doctor's know...after I spend 6 long years in a wheelchair!! In this trip too, I had my 'sporty' wheelchair with me, it's easier to use at the airport's...still can't walk so much as need to, there.
Ooh Mary, I got so much to tell :) I know how much we all love, even the smalliest ones,..detail's ;)..And I wanna share as much as I possibly can, with You!! So, now in the beginning I allready say, that I can now only write about the start of the concert...the rest You still have to wait, lol! But let me start...
On the day of the concert we woke up late, missed the breakfast:( Our hotel was in the centrum, so we did went to the Ströget, as we had planned before. It is world famous shopping street, were car's are not allowed, not even bicykles! Weather was so nice, sun was shining and because we were walking, soon we felt hot.We didn't actually need to buy anything, but that street is something You just need to 'feel', when ever You are in Copenhagen (one of the cities in the world, witch name can be written at least in 10 different ways!!). 'Unfortunatelly' I found a cosmetic shop where they did sell nail polishes etc. in much cheaper prize than in Finland...and immediatly, I was in a trouble lol! Decorating nail's is one of my hobbies and even I allready have
a lot of things what you need, when doing those...I couldn't resist, must have some more, lol! So, I got 'few' more 'things' at home now :)
We saw some bakery shops, Danish pastry's looked sooo delicious!! And how many different kinds there were?? But we were strong, lol! and didn't buy any...instead we chooce take away chinese food, as we were hungry (remember, missed the breakfast), but we only managed to eat half of our portions. Päivi almost throw her left over's to the dustbin, but I made her to believe, we better take those back to our hotel, even that she said: It's going to be cold and not nice anymore (changed her mind later)! She had already bought 2 dresses, one of those she had on her and the other she was going to wear at the concert! She only bought some souveniers to her family and found a similar scarf, I had with me, for herself. But I shouldn't go in to that shop...*I found some* -thing, lol! Beautiful gloves, suited perfectly well with all my other clothes and accessories for the evening...or what do you think?? Probably those had been on sale, a long time in that little shop, in these days it's hard to believe that anybody would were things like them...only me, ..haha!
On our way back to the hotel, we needed to have drink, and as we were in Denmark, bier ofcourse :) It was cold and have to say, this time nice too, so thirsty I was, in that hot summer day! When Päivi read news about the football game, I had time to have a look of my latest, new treasures...!!
Then, back to the hotel...to get ready...for the evening I had waited so much, exactly one year!! Was in Berlin with Tine 28.6.2011!! Päivi had waited a bit longer, since 3.11.2009, London! Ofcourse we ran out of the time, were in a hurry, to get to the concert place in a time. But it wasn't far a way, so we were in time. Had time to take pictures of us, outside...memories, You know!
Finally we were in...and my review starts, lol! Everybody who knows me, also knows how exited I was at that moment when we walked in to the concert hall ;) I knew 4 other Pink Ladies were there too and they were easy to find as we were all sitting near to each others. I started to 'rush'...this and that...here and there LOL! Just like I always do...I'm in Michael's concert...I let go and enjoy!! Nothing and nobody stops me...haha!! I managed to warmly hug Astrid and Tine, unfortunatelly Ivana and Martina were sitting in a seats, from where was difficult to leave anymore, as it was almost the time, when the concert was going to start. As always, this time too, I wanted to have pictures of us, in front of the stage..also for nice memories! Päivi managed to take one pic of Tine and me...then girl's went pack to their seats. Honestly, Päivi or I didn't hier anything about taking pictures wasn't allowed! Maybe some quard told it for Astrid and Tine...but not for us! Lol! Anyway I don't speak or understand danish language...germany can be a bit similar (Germanian languages), but finnish surely isn't ;) As we didn't meet outside, I needed to give my 'souvenier's' (in case we don't see each others after the concert) for the other Pink Ladies! I had designed and ordered some things; T-shirt's, card's, magnet's to put on the fridge's door, pen's, a mug and 'my bisness-card's' (even thought I'm retired, lol!), The FAN-picture from Dresden, last year, printed on those. I'm still sorry about mine, or VistaPrint's mistake...Astrid was cutted out of the pic:( First time for me, when I ordered from them and used their 'programs'! But she has forgive me that! Next time I won't make a mistake like that anymore! Christine also gave a Pink Lady -button for me! And Astrid tried and finally found from her handbag 3 PINK balloons for me:) I immediatly lost one of those :( Ofcourse the audience saw us and specially me, as I needed to stand while Päivi and I were searching those gift's from my bag and when I throw (only T-shirt's, as they couldn't harm anybody) or passed over the other things, to the other Pink Ladies! Surely too they had to understand, that *we were somekind of fan-group*...*Real, huge fan's of MB's* :)) Finally I was ready and sat down. There was still time, few minutes, before the concert starts. On my left side sat 2 danish, blond women, in their 40's and they kept looking at me, kindly. So I explained to them that we were Bolton's Pink Ladies and they were delighted about that. I started to laugh and told to them: We are his Pink Ladies and Michael even knows me...I have met him, personally, twice! Haha...You should saw their faces...You know 'that look', when somebody doesn't believe You, but don't wanna be rude or anything, they just smiled and said: Ooh, REALLY??...And I said: YES...REALLY :)) Then I carried on with Päivi, to get all things, what we were going to need, out of our bags...like cameras, Päivi had iPhone, 'our flags' and teddies, my *funny light-stick*! Then we putted our jacket's in to my little satchel and all the other things, what we didn't need, too. We wanted to be ready for the concert and when the WAMLAW start's...to next to the stage, in the middle!! I was still putting on that button, on to my breast, when the lights went of...and *Go to the distance* started to play! Some light's game on...and Screaming, clapping hands and whistlening started...*Ladies and Gentleman, Mr. Michael Bolton*! - speak accompanied him to the stage! :)) There he was...LIVE..in front of us <3! Michael started with 'slowly' song, Lean on Me! We don't often have opportunity to see and hear him performing this one..but on the other hand..we had 'called' him, the hole Europa, almost a year, so he only letted us to know, we can Lean on Him, lol! Then, Michael wanted to be...Our Soul Provider -man! Who could say NO to him? ;)) I putted my light stick to 'dance' and Päivi waved her flag...YeahYeah Michael...*I wanna be Your, wanna be Your, wanna be Yours...ooops, dont the lyrick's go like that :-D Light effect's looked fabulous...quickly needed to take a pictures...young guy behind me told to me, that I was disturbing him and his girlfriend...quess why?? No, not because Päivi was waving her flag or me my light stick, but because my camera!!?? I looked at him and kindly said: Sorry, but in the beginning of Michael's concert's, it's always like this, but soon we stop! I think he didn't listen me at all, cause he carried on being rude and said that I needed to stop immediatly...or he stops it!! I really couldn't understand him...he was a tall man...and he actually almost took my camera!!? Before you understand me, I maybe need to explain something for You. He was a TALL man, I am a SHORT woman! So, ofcourse, if I wanted to take a picture I needed to keep my camera more upper level,where my head was, because in front of me were also sitting taller people and the seat's back rests were also higher than they normally are. Probably, cause the concert hall was made for Danish Radios symphony orchestra and then people don't need to see anything, listening and probably closening the eyes is the best way to enjoy classical music! But how could that man even think about, that he had any rights to take my camera...or even to touch it?? Päivi and I looked eatch other's, Typical young guy, who couldn't put himself (didn't even know what that means!) in to our situation! We didn't moan to the people whom were sitting in front of us...'Hey, put your heads down, you are too tall and we can't see anything'!! And then, from somewhere came a woman quard who also said (and also almost took my camera...(what's the matter of Danish people??), that we were not aloud to take pictures!! I said: What?? It doesn't read in my ticket! And if it's forbidden, it needs to be written, clearly,in my ticket. And,..I said, ..Michael allows photos, he is even posing for us, if he notices, we are going to take a picture, of him! She kept saying we can't take pic's...and cause I came to enjoy the concert and she didn't aloud me to do it, as she WAS DISTURBING ME...I said, 'Okey, we are not taking any'..Finally we got rid of both of them!!
Sorry girls, but I'll have to stop writing now , before I reached to the better part's!! But, haven't sleep at all and it's already almost 10.00 am in the morning :(...But atleast I did started my review...and next time when I carry on this writing...comes the funniest things...so, You still need to wait :(

Just you HURRY UP and get back on here Jaana Stenberg......what is this having to SLEEP.....what do you need to sleep for review is FAR more important .....LOL Thanks for giving us such a detailed review and all those lovely photos too for you sure are making things come alive and definitely can't wait for the next episode !!! Haha...Sylvia! Yes who needs a sleep :) Last night I fall a sleep many times...on to my laptop, lol! Then I desided to GO TO SLEEP - IN BED...but remembered I had my sauna on! When I went to close it...it was too warm and nice - so instead sleeping I chose, to go to sauna. After that I didn't feel sleepy at all, lol! Haha....but then I was thinking...why the situation was so strange (no photos, no allowed to go next to the stage..)...maybe Michael thought he was going to perform in an other kind of place!! He (as Kelly too) thought they are having a concert in Falconer Theatre, Hall or Salen...!! But they also, as I, couldn't find out..which place was/is witch...or are they all same!!?...So they ended up, lol! to the Danmarks Radios orchestras Concert hall, lol! ...and that's why he wasn't prepared...he didn't know, he needed to tell to the stuff, quards and audience, that he allows photos etc.!! He want's fan's feel free and have fun...with him...LOL!...Poor Michael and Kelly :)))

Oh my ..., I had no idea and missed it completely !! .-((( This damn security stress made me feel I was delivering a bomb instead of presenting flowers and so I rushed back to my seat almost expecting to be guided out of that venue " ...shot down in June - - - oh no, riding high - - if I had noticed it - LOL..
Well, unconsciously I must have heard it. Maybe I should visit a good friend of mine who is a natural practioner and hypnotist and ask her to bring my subconscious to surface again ... LOL. Anyway, thanks for bringing it to my knowledge Looking forward to your other good parts.

I was sure that non of you realized, how nicely Michael told to all of us...that he does remember our meeting in Dresden and surely 'The Oscar', your last years present!! I am loving all this conversation and can't wait for some more "good parts" and could well imagine MB changing the lyrics like that but just a pity you nearly all missed it.....maybe it will pop up on tape somewhere !!! LOL.

This is the best dang Reality Show YET!!!! "Pink Ladies do Copenhagen!!!"......ROFL!!!!!!!!! Sounds like you all had a GREAT time and could it possibly just be that you WANTED MORE???? No...you aren't greedy!!!! ;) But you say you all traveled so far and....well....just 10 more songs would be FANTASTIC!!!! LOL This is great fun ladies....THANK YOU!!!!! :)))))
