2012 TOUR REVIEW THREAD-PLEASE SHARE YOUR 2012 MB CONCERT ADVENTURES WITH US HERE!!!!

HELLO EVERYONE, Since the 2011 Tour Review Thread is not playing nice and throwing us all back to the beginning lately, Gail asked if I would go ahead and start the 2012 thread. So here it is.. We can all share our excitement for Michael's upcoming touring and events in 2012 and chat and have fun here till the shows start in 2012.

Everyone is welcome to post and share their stories and pictures, videos from concerts and trips to see Michael do what he does best-SING!!!   Michael will be touring in 2012 starting so far with some shows the end of January.  There could be other events sooner too so if anyone attends a great Bolton event/concert, feel free to share your experience here.  I hope to have a review after the Chester, PA show on January 28th along with some other fans that have gotten tickets for that show and  the Atlantic City, NJ show on January 27th as well!  After that there are shows in Australia so far listed for 2012.  Following those shows we have the Concert for MBC and Traveler's Golf Event in June, 2012 and later on the MBC Gala in Sept.. We already have some exciting events to look forward to next year and I know there will be much more to come.

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum.. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as before.

Welcome everyone!!!!!

Kathy and LAFD Bob

Ok Kathy, I'll be waiting for you & Bob to come fetch me to go with you all, and then will you drive me back home, too! ROTFL, too!

Mary (M&M's)!

Well, Mary, if Meg's friend isn't a fan, & should she take you both, she might get hooked afterwards. I wish you well. A lot of times, in the past, I've gone to MB concerts alone & not know a soul so, I do understand. I have a hobby where I have tape pals (pen pals) if one wrote letters like I used to but it grew into taping instead of writing. So, I'd go to MB concerts & stay with friends. My friend Leeta who lived in Columbia SC, she'd say, "You're just coming to see Michael." I'd say, "No, girl, true, but I'm with you a few days; just with Michael a several hours." We'd laugh of course. She & I started writing in 1969, grew to taping in 1971 & finally met in 1989. I'm writing a novel but what would I do to see Michael, right? I understand whole heartedly. Mary, I meant to say madisonville. Oops. My bad. Leeta, my friend also had me up in 1994 when Michael had a softball game & concert the same day. I haven't seen Leet since then but unfortunately, she met her demize 2/19/02. R I P Leet. Loved her to death. Boltonnut from L. A. CA who loves life & Michael Bolton :)

Hey Robin R. so are you really coming to Madisonville, Ky. to see Michael? All the way from CA. now that's what I call going the distance! Go for it!

Mary (M&M's)!

No. Honey. I'm unable to go to Madisonville KY. I wish I could but wow! flights, shuttles hotel 2 nights, wow! Boltonnut from L. A. CA who loves life & Michael Bolton :)

Mary,

I wish I lived close to yall.  I would drive you in a hearbeat.  I am the driver for our group. We live in such a rural area that 3 hours is close.  We often have driven 7 hours to see Michael.  The concert is the focus of the trip but the drive can be fun too.  We have Many stories to tell but can't.  Ha

Alison

Hey Alison, Thanks for chiming in here, but you left yourself open to questions....how many road trips have you been on to see our Michael? And maybe you could share at least one story with Us here, we all love a good review:)!

Mary (Meg's mom)!

Alison, is Leesa going to be there with you? Are y'all going to that one. Mary, ask Alison abut Chastane park, in Atlanta GA on 9/8/01. :)))))) Boltonnut from L. A. CA who loves life & Michael Bolton :)

Mary,

We have been traveling 18 years together and have been to over 22 concerts.  The closest was Mobile which is 2 hours from us and the longest was Kinder, La which was 71/2 hours.  That was probably the most trying trip because Katrina was coming ashore while we were there.  We got a speeding ticket on the way down (I was not driving at the time and I kept saying"Gosh we are making good time".  Did not realize how fast we were going-Ha).  We have been lost on almost every trip. We each have our favorite trips.  I won backstage passes in 1999 (I think). The problem was we had two passes and there are three of us.  We begged all the way from Linden to Birmingham.  We were calling the fan club telling our story.  We did get three passes.  When we met Michael he knew the whole story.  He told me "I started to meet you at the door and tell you only two could come in" I told him that was not funny.  It had been a very long, quiet trip to Birmingham.  We have been through lost contacts, super glue on fingers(false nails gone bad),bad snoring (I wont say who) children catatrophies-Nothing major. and a host of other things I cannot mention. Our favorite of all places is Tunica.  We have seen Michael in the hotel and casino there.  Great Music, Great fun and precious memories.  I encourage you all to write down your adventures.  I do.  We also included our daughters on a trip to Biloxi.  That was VERY fun.  Of course they thought they was going to make fun of us and our craziness but they got the Michael bug too.

Gotta go to work yall and pay for these trips.

Alison

Hi Alison, thanks for sharing a fun overview of your Bolton adventures! I was in Ms too, in '05 just before Katrina at the Beau Rivage casino: a fabulous concert and energetic audience, I loved it! If you ever write a book or decide to start a thread about Bolton adventures you can share, I think it would be a lot of fun for everyone. Well thanks again for sharing sweetie and hope we'll hear from you here after your next one! Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Love your stories, Alison. Wow! All we go through to see the babe. The first time i saw him was 8/12/92 & wow! what a trip. Oh! too hard to type out. We got there to & from; missed most of WAMLAW & I vaued I'd never miss a song.
