Fan Reception 2011 - Final Figure and Donations?

Hi, Sophie and I just wondered - what was the final total of last years fan reception please?
£1000 was mentioned in november last year but no final figure.
Did any of the three charities receive the donation yet?
Would be lovely to hear that everyone's donations were helping the charities.
We couldn't find any information anywhere about this on the forum or facebook.
 
I have also posted this question over on the fan reception facebook group page. I have posted it on the forum so people who aren't on facebook also get the information we are all asking for.

I was leaving things for another few days, possibly till Wednesday or Thursday, to see if Juliet would rejoin the website and therefore see post for obviously whilst she is not a member she will not receive e-mail notifications that posts have been added to this thread and although Jennifer is still a member and will have received notification of posts it is more than apparent that she has withdrawn from any involvement concerning this matter.    I am now coming to the believe that a conclusion has to be drawn on this subject and I am very firmly of the believe that Juliet will not come in simply because the information that Debra received from Clic is correct and that Juliet's statement that monies were paid to them in November is untrue so as she will not have any evidence of that payment and knows if she rejoins website she will be asked for it.

It is, obviously, more than unfortunate the way this matter has evolved but these things happen in life because there always has been and always will be con artists about and as I have said often, the best and the canniest have been and will be caught, simply because the majority of us are honest, unlike them, and unless we move on and are able to say we put our money on a horse that fell, or we bought a lottery ticket and the numbers didn't come up, we will do nothing but go round and round the houses keeping churning up everything that has happened and in the end, apart from giving ourselves headaches, a bitterness may just seep in and I for one am NOT prepared to let either of them create anything near to that in my life because they are not worth it, therefore, as far as I am concerned my horse fell at the first fence !!

If monies have been received by MBC then I am more than delighted to have contributed to that and also I did buy memorabilia I wanted on MB and also MB's admin team were more than generous with the gifts they sent for us on the day of the Reception and all of those I will treasure and I more than appreciate that I would not have got if Reception had not taken place and so I will always be grateful to Jennifer and Juliet for that and have to accept my own naivety in believing the reasons I thought it was being held for but, as they say; "hey ho and on we go !!" and in this instance I hope BACK to the GOOD PART and another BOLTON ADVENTURE that is far, far more worthy of time spent on it here.

Feel I should let those know who are not on FB but have followed this thread that Juliet is back on FB and has placed comments against some of my friends posts hence my reason for knowing about her return and yet she does not have the courtesy, or respect for us, to come in and give explanation of her actions, or proof of what she said had been done in relation to the three charities and the donations, although she told us she would:   so, as far as I am concerned, her silence, definitely, is an admission of guilt !

Sylvia, I appreciate how you and the others feel about the donation but on this site I'd appreciate it if you could wait until the MBC donation is worked out before posting negatively about it again.  I will post when it has been received and taken care of. It is being worked out between Juliet and Andrena.  There is nothing to post from anyone until it is straight and we have the confirmation it is received.  I can't say what is said or not said on FB but on this forum, please have a bit more patience and I'll let you know.   Thanks. Thanks for supplying information about MBC donation Juliet and more than pleased to see it especially in the knowledge, because of the percentage of my donation in relation to the total gathered and number present at Reception, I can now imagine more than majority of donation to MBC was my money which gives me some gratification and closure on the matter as I am assuming nothing more will be forthcoming from you, i.e. receipts from WA and more importantly, Clic but as I have far more important things in my life than to waste any more of my time on you, or Jennifer, the matter is now closed for me.   Finally.....you may have conned some into believing you are "wonderful" but certainly not me....far too long in the tooth for that and too canny a Scot as well.....and whilst I say matter is now closed, rest assured, it will certainly NEVER be forgotten !

You have requested more info & now you have received it you are still not happy (no surprise there) .Also the money collected was divided equally between the 3 charities so how you can say & make it that the money you donated is the majority of donations is unbelievable to me .ok you may have donated and bought more than others but your donation was shared equally not just to Mb charity in particular .I donated and paid out money too as did a lot of people and I am glad that 3 charities will receive equal shares .
I may not agree with the way this has been handled but I will give credit to Juliet as she is the only one of the 2 organisers to post anything here .Jennifer seems to have left it all down to her & disappeared .Im sure when the receipts are received they will be posted .
You are not the only one to have invested in this a lot of us did .

Ok...I can verify that this is the response sent to Juliet from Andrena for the MBC charity donation as I got a copy of it as well.  This does close the donation to MBC which is what we are following here.  If you still have questions regarding the two other charities and those donations, please take it to PMs or email.
