Headlining that list is talk-show host and former Coachella Valley radio personality Carson Daly (The Voice, Late Night With Carson Daly), actor Craig T. Nelson (Coach, Parenthood), comedian Ron White and multi-platinum award singer Michael Bolton"

Little bit of "photographic licence" taken here as Humana had posted a picture of Michael at this point in their list of players but as I could not transfer over picture they had used I decided to use this very, very special picture of Michael kissing that ball after his hole-in-one on 8th May, 2012 and here is hoping the stars are "aligning again" for him and that he gets another hole-in-one during this competition !!! :)
Above announcement made by the Humana Challenge PGA Golf Tournament yesterday, 9th January, with regard to the Humana Challenge Golf Pro-Am Competition which will be held from 14th - 20th January, 2013 and at which you can see Michael has committed himself to play and as he generally takes part in the Bob Hope Legacy Pro-Am Competition this starts on Wednesday, 16th January with practice on the three courses starting at 8.30 a.m. with competition proper starting on Thursday, 17th January and running through until final on Sunday, 20th January.

As I have just said over in FB let's not get too excited folks but let's get excited for Michael has started his 2nd Round in exactly the same way as he finished yesterday and he is, at this moment, out in 1st place by himself in the amateur field. He has gone through the 2nd hole and he is up 2 already and therefore showing as being -15 and if he keeps going the same way today, unless he "burns and crashes" tomorrow I cannot see him not making the cut for Sunday's final......go Michael, GO !!!!!!! :) At this precise moment in time he is in fact the leader overall for there is no professional even near his score, he is beating them all......talk about the new 40 being 60 .....Michael is living proof of it, so far, this year and long, long may it continue.....wait till that book hits the best seller list and the CD hits No. 1 !!!!!! LOL.

Found a video of Michael being interviewed at the Humana - he is about 10 minutes in - he discusses his hole in one last year and how he never played golf before his hair was cut - very sweet ...

Just for a quick update as I am in here but Michael is playing out of his socks.....he was through 9 last time I looked and he is -7 for today and -20 for tournament and he is now in 2nd position but only again because fellow in front is a hole ahead of him basically he is still in 1st and he is still beating, as are a few of the amateurs, the professionals......OMG how I wish I was there witnessing this.....I kid you not....but, hey ho, can't be, so there !!! LOL.

Yes that is a lovely video Katia and a funny one too with him with Booker T and that was from a competition they were in together last year but I have found the link from the interview yesterday although the sound is very quiet and I think it is mainly because Michael is trying to talk as quietly as possible because you can see people teeing off behind him. If you go in to approx. 10.20 it is just after that when Michael starts to talk .....
He is still playing exceptionally well but leaderboard is changing all the time now as they are all on the field and therefore going through different holes but Michael, although lying in 3rd now, is still basically 1st because the other two players in front of him are holes ahead of him.....if you get what I mean !!!!! LOL.

Michael is playing "out of his skin" for he has finished his 2nd Round EQUAL FIRST AGAIN......way to go Michael !!!!! lol. He returned a score of 61 and went -11 over for today so that gives him a total of being -24 going into tomorrow's round.......absolutely fantastic. That is out of 156 amateur players he has come first twice.....WOW.....he must be dancing on the ceiling !!!! lol. I'm stressed out but can't wait for tomorrow !!! :)

Thanks for the update Sylvia..MB's golf game has gotten really good over the years....I remember back in the late 1990's watching him and he would not be first in an event like this yet back in those days.. Way to go MB!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He said on that interview it's taken 15 years...LOL He's really doing well, that's great.... I hope he wins it!!!
