Don't get the Golf Channel BUT isn't it usually on the local sports channel?  If I remember correctly I used to watch it on local tv.  I'll check the local sports channel tomorrow morning just in case.  I'm a BELIEVER!  LOL  Good luck Maestro - hit a hole in one for me!

Here is an article in connection with the Golf Competition and also a picture taken at the Pairings Party held last night at which Michael performed and I do believe it is Michael over to the very far left side of the stage standing behind something...........

RANCHO MIRAGE — Before the current top stars of the LPGA begin play in pursuit of women’s golf’s first major championship of the year, some of the game’s legends and some golfing celebrities will get their turn at Mission Hills Country Club.

Tournament activities for the Kraft Nabisco Championship begin at 7 a.m. Tuesday on the Dinah Shore Tournament Course with the start of the two-day celebrity pro-am, being hosted this year by three-time Kraft Nabisco winner and World Golf Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam.

Among the celebrities in the event are Anthony Anderson, Graeme Baxter, Michael Bolton, Alice Cooper, Oscar de la Hoya, Greg Ellis, Thomas Gibson, Greg Itzen, Bruce Jenner, Vinnie Jones, Josh Kelly, George Lopez, Joe Mantegna, Cheech Marin, Craig T. Nelson, Ray Romano, Keifer Sutherland, Joe Theismann, Scott Wolf and Mark Woodforde.

In addition to Sorenstam’s participation during the week, 10 other LPGA legends or past Kraft Nabisco champions will play in the Kraft Nabisco Legend Junior Challenge. That event will be played on the Arnold Palmer Course at Mission Hills and will feature the 10 legends playing with 30 top junior golfers from Southern California. While the legends will be playing a best-ball tournament with their junior partners, the juniors will also be playing an 18-hole stroke-play event, with the winner earning a berth into the Kraft Nabisco Championship starting Thursday.

Legends playing in the event include three-time Kraft Nabisco winners Amy Alcott and Betsy King, two-time Kraft winners Dottie Pepper and Sandra Post along with Kraft winners Jane Blalock, Pat Bradley, Donna Caponi, Patricia Meunier-Lebouc, Sandra Palmer, Jo-Ann Prentice and all-time LPGA career wins leader Kathy Whitworth.

Juniors in the field come from throughout Southern California and their participation was determined by a Southern California Golf Association panel based both on the golf achievements and off-course activities.

The $2 million professional event will begin Thursday at the Dinah Shore Tournament Course.

Another little bit about the competition and it is what was going on  last night when all the pictures were taken and as you can see from below some new game....I thought it was pro-am party concert that had been held but it was a Shootout at the party.  Also found another couple of photos from it too.  Unfortunately, so far, cannot find any leaderboard for the pro-am comp....found the Juniors Competition one but nothing for the pro-am;  have sent a tweet to KNC but no response so far and it does seem to be that everything is more geared for the actual competition starting on the 4th but, I will not give up and hope to get some information from somewhere but in between times, if anybody else can find out anything, please let us know because it is my bedtime now....see you tomorrow folks !!! :)

"Stars aligned last night at the first-ever EA Sports LPGA Shootout at the Kraft Nabisco Championship pro-am party.

Natalie Gulbis and Anthony Anderson emerged victorious in a battle that included LPGA stars Stacy Lewis, Suzann Pettersen, Michelle Wie, Jessica Korda, and Beatriz Recari. Celebrities participating in the event included Bruce Jenner, Cheech Marin, Joe Theismann, Josh Kelley, Michael Bolton and Craig T. Nelson.

EA Sports’ Tiger Woods 2014, debuting this week, includes the tournament course at Mission Hills Country Club for the first time this year. LPGA stars Stacy Lewis, Paula Creamer and Lexi Thompson are featured in the new game.

Gulbis and Anderson won brand-new XBOX’s with a unique EA Sports/LPGA wrap for their victory."
