Michael doesnt usually go out to meet fans after concerts, but has done on rare occasions. Sometimes if you are lucky, and can stand by the stage door, you might catch a glimpse of the man, but he doesnt usually hang around for very long. He might sign one of two autographs, but his manager will quickly move him along and get him into whatever vehicle is waiting for him to take him to his hotel or his his flight.
The most usual way to meet Michael is a by getting hold of a meet and greet pass, but these are like gold dust and sadly, not very widely available.
Hi, Welcome to the forum. It depends on the situation, MB has signed autographs after shows if he has time or just stopped to say hello to fans quickly if time permits-I've gotten some things signed and been able to quicky chat when time did permit. During the tour overseas a few months back when he had time he did sign autographs on items of his merchandise in the lobby of a venue or two that we heard about, but not sure if he had time to do it very often. I've witnessed him signing things for fans lined up to meet him over the years at the stage door, but it depends on the situation-time and his safety. Its not a guaranteed thing. He hasn't ridden a bus in recent years.
Hi Zach, welcome to the forum! So you're a new fan? I know it's a dumb question but how new are you? Have you discovered Michael through a friend, youtube or the radio? Just curious. It's always great to hear about new fans, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
thanks for the help everybody. And I actually just listened to Michael, a few weeks ago for the first time. I heard his song "Murder My Heart" on YouTube and I've been hooked ever since. And I was thinking about going to see him in Newark, New Jersey in November. Can anybody tell me what songs he normally sings in concert? Thank you!
Hi Zach,
So pleased you have become a fan :)
He sang Murder my heart when he was here in Australia,Hope it's too late,Steel bars,Said I loved you but I lied, Time love and tenderness so many it's hard to remember, he also covers a couple of songs from his Sinatra album
This I will tell you Zach
Don't miss out, you know, before going to see a person in concert I always wonder if their going to be any good (well I do lol) You know they can twik things in a studio and make someone sound good even if there not!
I was so worried Michael would be ruined for me I have loved and admired his music for over 21 years now and I was a little scared in case I would have been disappointed with the concert.
I tell you it was the best Concert I have ever been too in my life, Michael Bolton sounded better live than on he's CD's if that was possible and it was.
My husband HAS NEVER been a fan but came to the concert with me and now has become a fan and it's just wonderful to be able to share.
So do yourself a favor go enjoy and come back and tell us all about it
All the best
Dianna
Hi Zach, wow, a really brand new fan, amazing! Well, I suggest you first check out some concert reviews on this site: some mention setlists, like the Paris and Brisbane shows. Then, you might want to check out some music samples on either Amazon or Youtube for instance. You see, I don't know how old you are so I don't know what you may or may not have heard before. Michael sings a lot of different genres during his concerts; from his own hits, to his hit covers of R&B songs, to Sinatra songs, to B.B. King's "Rock me baby" and even an opera aria thrown in there! All the while, he sprinkles it with a few songs from his new album "One world one love". If you have other questions, don't hesitate, we're all here to help! Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
