2013 TOUR REVIEW THREAD!!!!! EVERYONE WELCOME!! COME ON IN AND JOIN THE FUN!!

Welcome everyone to the 2013 Tour Review Thread!!!!!!!  It is hard to believe another year is soon upon all of us and it should be a fantastic Michael Bolton year full of fun and adventures for Michael's fans around the world!

Feel free to post  your stories and pictures, any videos from concerts and trips to see Michael do what he does best-SING!!!   Michael will be touring in 2013 starting in Jamaica in January.  There could be other events  too so if anyone attends a great Bolton event/concert come on in and share your experience here. We also have shows scheduled in the USA for February and one is on MB’s birthday which will be extra special!! This should be a very exciting year for all of us with MB’s new book coming out as well as a new CD and possibly his TV show starting later in the year too? We never know with MB as he’s got so many things going on at once!!LOL   We can report here if there are any book signings as well if you all want to. Also, later in the year the Michael Bolton Charities will schedule their events to raise funds for the MBC.

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Thanks so much for that Brigitte...terrific article and lovely photos !! :)   Jason had a photo out last night on FB....couldn't bring over as he had it out to "friends" only....but it was of them all at the table but what he said was that it was the Romanian promoters who had organised the dinner for them and a lot of their staff were there and BTW, it was Jason's birthday yesterday !! :)

Thought I would drop a few lines for you all (and Sylvia asked me to too)
I went to the Riga show in Latvia on Sunday .. front row seats too ;)
First time I have watched Michael outside of the UK. So it made it a little special too , i went with my 2 best friends..Row 1 seats 1,2 & 3 :)
I'm not surprised that there isn't many good clips off the show on YouTube as security was tight no cameras etc so that part was a disappointment as we all want to capture a photo for the album.etc. also no standing!!! :'( it must be the Latvian rules or culture I don't know. In all the Michael concerts I been too I've never sat down for the second half of the show or seen no fans standing at the stage. So no standing or no cameras that was the downside! Anyways I don't want to sound all doom and gloom..
Michael was fab as always,,Michael walked onto the stage and took his place on his stool n the show started with To love somebody and was then followed by Dock of the bay..off his stool n next song said I loved you but I lied.
And as it says in the reviews there was the marriage proposal.
This show was also the First time I got to see Kelly sing live. I dont know where Michael found her but all I can say is Wow what a voice. She was fab!
Michael did a great show and the Latvians ,me & my 2 friends had an amazing night (sat in our seats) .
Was well worth all the travelling cant wait for the next 1 x

Hi Johanna,

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you had a wonderful time, even though no standing or cameras! That does put a damper on a show.  But if you were in the first row, lucky you it must have still been great! So happy for you.  I happen to read on your page, you met MB recently?!?! Oh come on, please fill us in on that.  We all love to hear in detail about it when a fan is lucky enough to actually meet the man! (We will be jealous but also happy for you and really do want to know all about it!!)

Joy I put in a little report in here at the time when Jo met Michael and it was when he was over here in March doing his promotional work and Jo went to the studio where he was recording one of the shows and she met him as he went in and then waited and saw him again when he left....I was going to have gone down because it wasn't too far to travel as it was Manchester not London but we got snowed in at that time.  The picture Jo has as her avatar is the one she got taken with Michael and she also asked him to sign his name on her arm and what she did was, immediately afterward, went and got it tattooed over.....I printed the picture of the tattoo on her arm and can't remember if put on this thread but pretty certain it is all in the CD and Book Promotions thread but maybe Jo would come back in and tell us her story of that terrific day again ....eh, Jo ???? LOL

Thanks for coming in with that review Jo .....thanks a million !!! :)   Sorry to read about the downside but as you say, do not dwell on that, when you have the upside of Mr. Bolton in front of you and singing to you too !!! :)   Might not have long to wait now for another sighting.....September....I'm just praying for Manchester and NO snow !!! LOL

Yes Robin CA you are right Johanna (Jo) did get to meet Michael but it was back in March when he was over here in the UK for she went to the studios where he was recording a show (Sunday Breakfast Show) and she met him when he arrived and when he left studio.
