Sharing a lifetime of Michael Bolton memories :D
Hi everyone,
I’ve been meaning to start this thread for a while now. I’ve been reading since the beginning of this forum, many discussions started by fans who simply wanted to share their joy of being a Michael Bolton fan. We have threads to share concert reviews, some to share news, videos etc, but not exactly what I have in mind. I would like for this thread not to be about meeting Michael, but about MB related moments in our daily lives, that anyone can take part in. I’m sure we all have tons of fun stories about how the existence of our Michael made us smile today.
For example: I remember once working on the computer and being stressed out to finish a job, then I took a break and turned on the radio, SILYBIL was on and I felt like I’d been given a big hug! Also, I remember once reading on one of the old message boards, someone had gone to a thrift shop and found an MB T-shirt and it made her day! Another story of mine has to do with my husband driving with “The one thing” on, stopping at a light and the guy in the next car asked him who that was and said this was great music! Your anecdotes can also be about how you've converted a "non believer" or your child’s discovery of Michael and sometimes we have as many stories as we have kids! Anyway, I guess I’d like this thread to be kind of a Michael Bolton “Vegetable soup for the soul”. :D I have a few stories in my own life like these and even started my own personal document a while back and I thought: why not share our stories together? Hey Kathy, the song slipped your mind for a minute, big deal... I agree with Mary that you should definitely hand deliver your present to Michael, because it means a lot to you. I saw Michael 9/9/96--I could be wrong on date but definitely year&month&I had an air cast on my left foot&had to wear slacks as I had sun poison on my legs. I remember te security guard was taking me to my seat&I asked him if he was going backstage&he said, I don't know. I said, "I'll hold your arm." He said, "No go." So, he probably wan't going backstage so, I purchased a cinnabon&a huge lemmon aide to take with me to my seat. So, yeah, the concert was awesome. I think it was 9/9/96. :)

Hey ladies, when I am at work (they all know how MB crazy I am) if an MB song comes on they are all just waiting to see my response with smiles on their faces. Last week HAISTLWY came on the tv in an advertisement, I jumped up and went running to the tv.....they said they knew I would.....well YES!!!!! Enjoying your stories here. Hugs,

Thanks for all the stories ladies and not often you hear an MB song on a TV advert....that must be a new one and wonder if we can locate it.....can you remember what it was Kathy or was it just the song playing rather than MB being part of the advert ????

It was an advertisement for a cd from the 90s of various artists and MB is shown singing HAISTLWY but I did not catch who was selling it, sorry ladies......Hugs,

Heck, we all get those deh moments. I'm glad Michael did"I Found Someone." Love it when he did that song live in the early days; wow! the ending was totally awesome. This River is awesome & so is I Promise you & A Love so Beautiful now can I touch you there totally rocks.

Hey Kathy, you had me lol imagining you running for the TV! Lol It’s funny how HAISTLWY is often used in commercials. One day I was searching for commercials with Michael’s songs or jingles he sang and found these... I’ve heard it in this Ford Focus one:

Oh thanks Sylvie, I adore MBs commercial ventures and my favorite of these is the Sidekicks. Yep, I jumped up from my desk like a bolt of lightening and by the time I reached the tv no more MB :( and the two guys were laughing at me. Oh well, the two of them were probably jealous of a wonderful man we all adore sooooo much and I know they must wonder what it this guy has that we don't, LOL.....so the last laugh is on them, that's the way it is dudes, sorry!!! THANKS FOR VIDS, SYLVIA, made me smile and laugh out loud at the SWA one but felt sorry for that poor girl!!! Hugs,

Hey Kathy, glad you enjoyed the commercials. Well I don’t know if it’s the same one, but someone described the Knor’s commercial to me with the salt shaker and I thought it was adorable! :D Well you know, if you’re not worth a laugh, you’re not worth much, are you? I’ll bet your co-workers wish they’d affect women this way! Lol Well actually, someone will need to tell me what happened in the South West Airlines ad because I have no clue what they’re laughing about... Anyway, glad it made you laugh sweetie.
