glasgow concert
Cant believe how much I enjoyed the concert in Glasgow i've been a fan for about 18 years but never go to a live show and it was a dream come true! I travelled from Belfast on the Friday morning to Glasgow did some shopping and went for dinner and cocktails to get ready for the show. Every song was amazing michael's voice live is perfect I loved the entire show my favs were steel bars, how can we be lovers, said I loved u but I lied, when a man loves a woman, how am supposed to lie without you, aint no mountain high enough and the lovely surprise when he performed jack sparrow. Only regret that I didn't get meet and greet tickets and I forgot to get my tour t-shirt on the way out because I got talking to michaels amazing singer Kelly .Anyone know were I could buy one ?

Hi Laura and welcome to the forum. Good to hear you had such a great time in Glasgow, Michael really has been rocking the U.K. on this tour! May I ask what took you so long to attend a concert? Just curious. It does sound like almost all the songs were your favorites! :D Were you close to the stage and did you get to shake his hand? Sorry you didn’t get an M&G. Did you find out about it too late? Laura, I apologize for being geographically-challenged, but was the Glasgow concert closer to you than Dublin? Since you’re from Ireland, you could have had 2 chances to see him in Dublin and gotten your T-shirt. Unfortunately, merchandise isn’t sold on this site yet. BTW, if you’d like to share your experience with other fans and would like to know what other people thought of this one or other shows, articles and pictures, feel free to join us on the tour thread:

Hi sylvie, I've been a fan since a teenager but unfortunately no one else I know is and finding someone to go with me was the problem my sister decided to go this time and loved him. The last time Michael was in belfast I was on holiday so I was determined to to this time. I chose glasgow because I'd never been before and I've been to dublin loads of time and it's so expensive. I really enjoyed Glasgow and the flights were cheap from Belfast. I wasn't near the stage unfortunately and couldn't persuade my sister to pay for VIP tickets I was just grateful she went with me . I have been looking at Dublin now to go again next week but it appears to be sold out ideally if I could get tickets for the Monday I would go down As I enjoyed the show so much.

Hi Laura, Ah, I understand. Well it’s great to hear your sister enjoyed the show! I know it’s hard to find someone who’ll enjoy the show as much as you do... Well the M&G will be for next time, I guess. The important thing is you were there and you had a great first experience. Well, about the Dublin concerts, if you can afford to go, maybe you can call the venue in case they have cancelations or something, you never know. I wonder if they’d let you come in just to buy a T-shirt if it was sold out... You can always ask, what have you got to lose? In any case, I hope this means your sister would go again, if Michael comes back to your neck of the woods, or maybe you can find a concert buddy on here, good luck sweetie. :D Take care Laura and if you do go to Dublin, let us know! Hi Laura and welcome to forum and I think I remember you talking to Kelly and you got your photo taken with her if I am right. Didn't stay too long chatting to Kelly as quite a lot of people there.
Am so glad you enjoyed the show for it was superb and that crowd were something else...fantastic and glad you were a part of it and can understand you coming over to Glasgow. The first Dublin show sold out in about an hour and that was when second one was added and it sold out just about as fast and believe if Michael had been able to add a third it would have gone too....LOL

Hi Sylvia nice to meet you thanks for the warm welcome. Yeah I was talking to Kelly and got a photo. I'm glad I went to glasgow for the show I really enjoyed the show and glasgow is a lovely city very impressive I will def be back. I didn't know dublin went so quickly pity a third date wasn't added. Are you heading to anymore shows urself ?

Haven't long arrived in Southend-on-Sea for tomorrow night's show and then I'm going along to Bournemouth for last one.....then it will be tears all the way back home.....puddles everywhere and the sun will be splitting the sky ....LOL
