WELCOME EVERYONE TO THE 2014 TOUR REVIEW THREAD!! COME ON IN AND JOIN THE FUN!!

Welcome everyone to the 2014 Tour Review Thread.  The upcoming year is going to be exciting with so many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, videos etc.  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and the MBC Charity Event which will most likely be held later in the year too. Michael has multiple projects in the works so we never know what will happen next!!!! I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2014 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Happy Concert Time in 2014 to all of you!!!

Hi Carol, a fan wrote somewhere here that sometimes, reviewers are given the setlist, which is possibly what they base their reviews on. Clearly, the guy didn’t really want to be there, but had a job to do. Never the less, he did give a good rating after all. I’m sorry I even mentioned it, but this type of article gets to be old. Thanks for your comment Carol, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D

Don't know if to leave comment and ask if at same show as I was at for I never heard Soul Provider neither did I see anyone touching his hair unless it was awfully quick on way back to stage and don't know who would have spotted that also too wonder why he got an immediate standing ovation for Nessun Dorma if he was so rubbishy or do these folks not think that any of us could possibly be opera buffs....that boy put his heart and soul into Nessun Dorma at Southend, his heart and soul !!!

Thanks for finding and posting Petra but sorry for apart from true words about Jason, might have helped if they could have taken time to find out his name, the article gets a raspberry from me !!!! :(

I'm beginning to think I have the items incorrectly translated! Sh ... my English is so bad!

If you (Sylvie and Sylvia) are of the opinion that I should delete the article, I will do it immediately! Please, help me!

Petra (Germany)

No way Petra.....leave it where it is but it is definitely one of those articles that is not true to what happened although the writer claims they were at concert so just take it all with pinch of salt and a case of don't believe everything that is written.  I am only saying about it because concert they are reporting on was one I was at in Southend Petra.

Hallo Petra, leave the article sweetie. I commented because I didn’t like the sneering tone of it, because as Carol said, we’ve read too many careless articles like these over the years. Again, I’m sorry. Take care sweetie. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie qC Canada:D

Get well Kathy from Tulsa. Did get Texts. A lot of time, I don't like reading the articles because not a lot of stuff is right or true. I'm sure Michael gets sick of the ahir bit like that's the only thing about him?

I just want to come out here and say to everyone a huge thanks for all the reviews, articles and pictures from our "oldies" and from our more than WELCOME "newbies"....great to have you all join us and hope you will hang around and at least if not taking part actively will keep up-to-date with what's going on and hopefully next time Michael tours here we can all come together again and maybe get better organised that we all meet up.....yeah, let's have a party folks !!!! :)

I am so, so sorry Margaret that I didn't see you after your M&G and was too far away from you when you spotted me, as you say "scurrying" back to my hotel and I wasn't half because I was soaked as couldn't keep umbrella up and my glasses were needing little windscreen wipers for I could hardly see out of them so probably even if you had been right in front of me I wouldn't have seen you....LOL   As you say, hopefully, there will be another time and I am sure there will be !!! :)   Glad you had a good M&G and that you met up with old BB's and as I said before it was lovely meeting you, lovely !!! :)

Thanks Pauline for your very, very lovely words and extra kind comments and I hope too that maybe, one day, we may meet up at a Bolton concert; possibly, may even go to one, together.....thanks again Pauline and I am so, so pleased that everything worked out for you and that you had a brilliant M&G !! :)  Here's looking forward to the next ones ...yeah, come on Michael, UK Tour dates please; don't really ask for a lot, do I ???? LOL

Thanks Petra for your cute little dog and for your conversion of my miles into km's and believe I did pretty well and would think possibly a record achieved for the most amount of miles travelled by a 63 year old BB on a Bolton Adventure for total has come in at 2514 miles and that is about as many miles as I generally do here, in "sleepy hollow", in about a year.....wait till I get Stateside, OMG there will be no stopping me for it will be watch out everyone as you have been warned the Wee One is here to tear up those freeways....maybe I should hire a motorbike instead of a car and then I really could rev it up !!!!!!!! LOL

On a serious note, thanks everyone for allowing me to share my Bolton Adventure with you all for you all know what it has meant to me and even though I was on my own I never felt lonely because you were all with me and all part of my adventure and of course in the middle of it all to have met Kathy and her family and have gone to a concert with another BB was truly something extra special....thanks Kathy !! :)   A truly wonderful, magical experience that if I had the chance to do it all again tomorrow I would be packing my case right now.

Sylvia, I want to thank you for all your nice reports. It was as if one was there.
Even though I can not understand everything, so it was me a pleasure to follow your trip and your adventure.
Relax well and enjoy your memories.
Many greetings from Berlin

Katrin

I thought that I would post my comments on the Bournemouth concert.

I would just like to say that I have seen Michael at the RAH twice before and also at Colston Hall in Bristol and really enjoyed the concerts.

The one on saturday 24th May in Bournemouth in my opinion was not as good. Don't get me wrong Michael was wonderful but he wasn't on stage for much of the time and although his band and singers sang his songs very well I hadn't paid to hear them sing Michael's songs. I felt a bit cheated. I just wish Michael had been on stage more.

I'm not sure that I liked the Bournemouth venue, perhaps I was sitting to far away to fully appreciate the concert, there were alot of loud people ( probably due to the alcholol being consumed) which may of spoilt it as well.

Sorry Bournemouth the next tour I will be booking earlier at another venue.

Hope you will be back soon Michael.

Dear MB-fans, finally I have done it. My photos from the concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London and the city are in an album in the gallery.
Please excuse the delay. It has a lot to do when you return from a trip.

Dear Pauline, dear Ivana, I was very happy to have met you. Maybe we can stay in touch.

Have fun looking at the photos and greetings from Berlin

Katrin

Thanks so much Katrin and your photos, as always, are wonderful and what beautiful memories for you.....one of these days I'm going to get to RAH, definitely !!! :)    Danke Katrin !!! :)
