Welcome everyone to the 2014 Tour Review Thread. The upcoming year is going to be exciting with so many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, videos etc. This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and the MBC Charity Event which will most likely be held later in the year too. Michael has multiple projects in the works so we never know what will happen next!!!! I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2014 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

To All of you Newbies here on the Forum: Thanks for stopping by to give Us your reviews....they are much appreciated:)! As for you guys, my husband may never go to see him in concert, but he does like to play his Music, when he is listening to his music:)! He says if you can't beat her I may as well join her...& our daughter (Meg):)! We just had our 29 anniversary this past Saturday:)! Thanks again!!!

I have been a bit ill the past week but getting better now and I have not kept up here on the site very well but I want to say the same as Mary to all the new fans and existing ones who have posted reviews and photos....thanks to everyone and happy that the UK tour was so much fun for all of you :)).

Sylvie, I am of the opinion that reviews are always based on whether the journalist is MB fan or not! The important thing is that we (his loyal fans) know that he is the BEST!

Hallo Petra, yes I know, that’s obvious sweetie. I guess in a perfect world, critics would be impartial and wouldn’t make needless arrogant remarks. I know it could have been much much worse and I should just focus on the positive: an 8 out of 10 rating! It’s kind of like in the other article you’ve just posted in the “misc” thread, it seems that Michael is forever condemned by critics outside the U.S. to be refered to as “the guy with the hair” and although granted, it was a big part of his success back then, a mention in passing would be enough. I have a feeling Michael might have resigned to rehash that old anecdote until interviewers get sick of it and finally put that dead horse to rest, if you catch my meaning. Do you know that, Sylvie? You're sitting at a family party and the grandmother told for the 100th time that you something has happened in your youth that is uncomfortable to you?
Some stories stay in one stick, no matter how much you changed or how old you are!
Also Michael has to experience the story with his hair. Michael has fortunately a lot of humor. This will help him to accept the topic of hair!

I agree Sylvie that this critic was arrogant but I am THRILLED that he actually admitted he might consider seeing MB again. I wonder if he choked on his own words? ;) Slamming Nessun Dorma? I guess he is pretending to be an opera expert. I certainly doubt that!! But thanks Petra...if he dishes out the insults then the author needs to be prepared to receive his own I say :))

I agree with you Sylvie. The reviews on this tour have been very good and have been brilliant to read. It's a shame this particular "journalist" and I use that term loosely, went with a blinkered view and wrote an article which has very few similarities to the show I attended. Maybe Jonjo Cosgrove would be better suited writing about the Essex seaside towns annual fete or possibly the Christmas pantomime as his lack of attention to detail and the amount of inaccuracies wouldn't be noticed in that kind of review.
I'm sure these articles wash over Michael's head and he probably doesn't give them a second thought but how many have we seen over the years which are derogatory and pointless. Hopefully this journalists career will be as long and successful as Michael's but some how I doubt it.
