Hi Tiffany

I can understand your deception regarding your pictures but the next time will be much better. It was amazing enough to having seen MB live. If you are interested in some pictures from our gig in Munich in Aprile just make a little detour via my blog...even if it s not a consolation..:(

Have a nice time!

Christine

Hello everyone, I am so sorry it took me a while  before I could write my review. Like Sylvia said, I had two exhausting 12 hours night shifts after the show. I must say, even though I was tired from working, I have been floating on cloud MB since my wonderful concert on June 3rd. OMG where do I start from? Ok I will start from when I woke up that morning. Haha!  Just kidding.  I went to the concert all by myself not knowing who will be kind enough to take a picture of Michael and I if I had the opportunity to get close to him. That was a dream of mine for as long as I have been a fan of MB. The venue (Living Arts Centre in Mississauga was breath taken. The hall was packed full of all these wonderful MB fans. I was sitting on the second row in the centre in front of him. The view was so clear and I was so close to the stage. I couldn't wait for those lights to dim and for Michael to come on stage. The moment arrived, the lights were dimmed and the Mississauga symphony orchestra started the intro song " Go the Distance" the instruments were so powerful and so heavenly I thought I died and went to heaven. Then we heard Michael singing the first verse and we couldn't see him. All I can see were peoples heads turning and pointing to the direction they thought he was going to come out from. There comes Michael coming onto the stage looking oh so delicious. His voice was outstanding. I could not believe he is a 61 years old grandfather of two. He looks fit, energized, and ready to rock the 90 minutes  straight  show. He is absolutely perfect playing his guitar, and with the orchestra, it is Devine. He encouraged us to take as many pictures as we wanted, and also to make lots of noise and take over. I was hoping soul provider was included in his list, but it wasn't. That was the first MB song I heard and fell in love with. The song list I can remember were, Said I loved you but I lied, How am I suppose to live without you, Love is a wonderful thing, Time, love and tenderness, To love somebody, How can we be lovers if we can't be friends, Georgia on my mind, Sitting on the dock of the bay,  The prayer with Kelly Leveque. I hope the spelling is right. From now on, Ain't no mountain high enough, Ain't nothing like the real thing baby. He performed those two songs from the Tribute to Hitsville Cd with his backup singers. Those girls were amazing. (Kelly and Amanda). Michael does know how to pick singers that compliment his powerful and soulful voice. He performed Nessun Dorma and Omg every hair on my body stood straight up. That voice is an absolute gift from God above. We were all on our feet after that song, and the clapping and cheering seems endless. I could listen to Michael sing for eternity. Kelly and Amanda  performed some of these songs alone. We are not making love anymore, Missing you now, That's what love is all about, I found someone and when am back on my feet again. Michael then appeared in the middle of the crowd singing "When a man loves a woman" The crowd went wild. I was surprised how polite everyone was. No body ran to where he was singing to try and touch him like I see when I watch some of his concert videos. Again, maybe no one did because of the two security guys on each side of him .LOL.  I absolutely love the way Michael  interact with the audience. His smile, his winks, his jokes are all breath taken. A lady from the audience yelled " Michael are you married?" He said "No I am not married" the lady said " I love you Michael, I will marry you" Michael laughed and said " is that a proposal from the dark? But we haven't met yet". He got everyone laughing. When anyone yelled I love you Michael, he replied by saying "these people are strategically placed in the audience to say that. He got us laughing the whole show. When the show ended, I didn't want to leave even after he came back for the encore. After the show, I waited to check out his merchandise that were on sale. I bought his autograph autobiography " The soul of it all" even though I had one that I read already. I also got an autograph Cd " Tribute to Hitsville ", and a beautiful T-shirt with his picture and the soul of it all written on it.  As I was walking to my car, a lady approached me and asked if Michael signed my book. I said not personally, but it is an autographed one that I just bought. She said I have my book and I want him to sign it. I said lady, Michael has already left the building. She said I don't believe that, I know where his car is and that car is still there and if you want to see him, we can go together. It's like OMG what do I do? I don't know this woman. I decided to take a chance and go with her, knowing there were security guys inside and outside of the building. My intention was to yell as hard as my vocal cord can take if I sense any foul game. LOL. Now came the moment I have dreamt of since I became a fan of MB. A chance to actually say hello and take a picture with him. It was like a miracle. We were there waiting and Michael came out through the back door. My jaw dropped. I was shaking. A voice said to me Patience, take this chance NOW. We said hello Michael please can we take a picture with you? He asked in that sweet gentle voice " are you two friends" I said well we just met" he smiled and I got a picture taken with him. He is the kindest man ever. Even when the security guys were trying to get him into his car as fast as they could, he stopped and talked to us. I will treasure that moment for the rest of my life. I have written to the director of marketing at the centre to have him back again as soon as possible. LOL. I took lots of pictures with my cell phone during the show, but most of them didn't come out good. Too much glare on them. I am mad at my phone. lol. Will invest on a good camera. I hope this review is not too long. All I can say is that it was a night to remember. I truly enjoyed every second of it and I hope I can go see him again soon. Thank you Michael. You are the best.
I am posting 3 pictures I hope it works.

Hi Patience, my cheeks are hurting for smiling at your review, thank you! :D Not that it’s terribly important, but Michael is a grandfather of 3 now sweetie: Taryn’s 2 little girls and Holly’s son Dylan. It’s funny how “Soul provider”seems to be the song most people miss on this tour… OMG, no way: Michael didn’t sing “Love is a wonderful thing”, did he? He hasn’t sung that one in 10 years! All you’re missing from Kelly’s name is an “S”, her name is Levesque. Oh we’re all with you on the “gift from God” sentiment sweetie… :D I have a feeling he probably didn’t sing “Jack Sparrow”, but do you know what the encore was? Just wondering. Wow, what a lucky break Patience! You probably went on auto-pilot at that moment and so glad you were able to meet Michael, get the picture and talk to him, that’s fantastic! Do you remember anything else he said? Lol Patience, the longer and more detailed reviews are, the better they are so no worries. :D BTW, glad you were finally able to post your pictures! Thank you so much for sharing your magical night with us Patience, God bless. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Lol Sylvie, I am glad you enjoyed my review. I got worried there for a moment. Looks like I was writing an essay. I just realized I ended you name with an A on my review. Pardon moi. Lol. Oh yes, I could talk about that night all day and all night long. I can't believe I wrote two grandchildren instead of three. I hope he doesn't see that. Lol. No he did not perform "Jack Sparrow" someone did yelled out "Jack Sparrow" from the audience and he laughed. Listen I am still on auto-pilot. Lol. Do you know if another date is set for the concert in your area? I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. Hugs

Patience

Hi again Patience, I’ll blame the “A” on being Canadian eh! Lol Besides, any confusion is totally understandable... :D My concert date still hasn’t been rescheduled. Back in April, the PDA peops told me it was very hard rescheduling and might not be before 2015. (sigh) Maybe it’s time I harass them again to see if anything’s changed... :D Thanks for crossed fingers sweetie: I could use all the help I can get! Enjoy your big fluffy cloud Patience, take care. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada <3

Don't worry Sylvie, they will just have to reschedule. Can I have the PDA people's number so I can harass them too. Lol. Hugs hugs hugs.

Oh! wow! patience. I read your review & wow! That lady was an angel. It was meant to happen. Once, I was in Pala CA visiting in 2005 & my friend was helping me fill out a form to get perhaps an autographed CD & she said, "You have a backstage pass." I said, almost, You're s****** me. but I said, "You're joshin' me?" She said no & my friend & I went back. it was 7/31/05 & I had a broken foot so, what can I say but wow! Loved your review & thanks. Love is a wonderful thing, huh? Cool. Miss soul provider. The way he says provider in the song but yet in speaking, he says it differently. Has anyone ever noticed that? Robin the boltonnut from Southern Nevada.

Thank you so much Tiffany. Like you said, it's definitely beyond awesome. It was just my lucky night. Believe me, that does not happen much. Lol. Thanks again.

Patience

Way to go Patience!!!  I now wish I would have went to the back of the venue when I saw him in Kitchener.  I'm a little shy about doing that now.  The first time I waited for him after a concert (about 12 years ago) I got encouragement from a member of his band who told me to 'just go for it' when Michael came out and not to worry about security!  I got a pic of me standing beside Michael's limo and him sitting inside.  A few years later I tried it again but this time when I yelled out to him for a picture all he did was give a short wave and jump in him limo and ride away.  He was with Nicolette then and she was there with him - maybe she persuaded him to not stay? LOL.  But I am SO happy for you and you and Michael look great together!!

Thanks Megan for that lovely compliment. LOL @ Nicolette persuading him not to stay. Thank God he came Solo this time. I would never have thought about going to the back of the venue to meet him. Thanks to the mystery woman who I never saw again to say thank you. I do hope he comes back next year so you get that opportunity to have that picture moment with him. Hugs.
