I simply love Michael's version of 'One More Time' as published on the soundtrack from the movie Sing! in 1989.

Does anybody know if he ever performed this song live? B

Hi Barbara, well I can't say that I've been to every performance Michael has ever done, but off hand, I'd say he hasn't sung "One more time" live. He usually has some songs that never leave his concert playlist like DOTB, WAMLAW and TLT and he sings 2 or 3 songs from his latest CD and in the past few years, the rest is an eclectic  mix to showcase his range I think. I doubt he's ever sung "Once in a lifetime" from the soundtrack of "Only you" live either. He has been known once or twice to sing songs he hasn't recorded like "A change is gonna come" at a charity event and in 1994, he had sung "What's going on", which he hadn't recorded  before last year. Also, to my knowledge, he's never sung "Don't make me wait for love" in one of his own concerts, but he wrote it for Kenny G and sang it at least once in one of Kenny's concerts: his "Live" CD and DVD. I can't be 100% sure, but as I said, I doubt it. Hope that answers your question sweetie, take care and have a great weekend. :D Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Thank you so much for your detailed reply, Sylvie.  It shows that you attend a lot of concerts ...  From my google research I learnt that OMT has been a very popular song at graduations in the late 1980th/early 1990 and still is at class reunions.  If you should ever find out about Michael performing "One more time" live, please don't forget to let me know.  Thanks in advance :o) B

Hi Barbara, oh no, I haven’t attended many concerts sweetie, only 7 so far, but I’m an avid collector of information. :D I have several  friends who have attended  many concerts, there have been TV concerts and such, in which Michael has maintained similar playlists.  To my knowledge, “One more time” was in the movie “Sing”, which was released in 1989. I’ve never seen the movie, but if I remember correctly, it was about a school for the performing arts. I’ve heard that Michael has been invited to give commencement speeches at graduations, but I’m not sure he’s been asked to perform. If you’re interested, we have one of Michael's speeches here on this site: an 18 minute speech from 1995, which is very interesting.
