Welcome everyone to the 2015 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Those of you attending some of the Florida concerts in January,  2015 may see the upcoming Dreamjobbing winner performing as a backup singer for Michael!!  Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, etc.  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2015 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Happy Concert Time in 2015!! Let the year long concert party begin!!

Even though I hated him canceling Lancaster,, it looks like he figured out not to push himself or he'd have all the trouble he did with being sick last year. I talked to Doug James a few days ago, and he said Michael was fine. I joked that my Kirsta (she was going with me to see Michael) said her self esteem was suffering since the show she was going to last year was cancelled and also this years? Kids.

Sally, I look at it as now we have another show on the horizon to look forward to and it looks like as of now it's the last one for a while so we will soak it all in come June!!!

Pamela, Thanks ever so much for your review. Not a bad seat for you @ all. Also, thanks for all picture descriptions as well.

Hi Pam, thanks for sharing with us and great to know you’re a long-time fan. Is there anything you can tell us about the show? Like did Michael sing any different songs, or whether there was an encore and whether there was much audience interaction with joking around? BTW, thanks for letting us know about Michael’s sore throat, we were wondering what happened last week. Thanks again for sharing Pam, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

There was an encore....and I am having trouble remembering what song he sang....I was sort of in a state of la la land all evening and into yesterday after arriving home.  He sang The Prayer with an awesome back up singer...think her last name is Brown...and the whole theater was in awe.  Tears were filling my eyes as they sang...it is such a beautiful composition and I love it.  Michael left the stage 3 times where he changed clothes and the band played...during one M B break this same great singer sang a medley of MB hits (which I recall him singing at the last concert) so when J P told me Michael was trying to take it easy, think this was one way.  I saw MB, a security guard and another person coming out of the side entrance to theatre and knew what was next....ladies beside me had never seen him before...so I said, "there he is" and they said "what?" then I focused on him about 10' behind and to right of me and took a  bunch of photos with cell phone...I posted some pics on facebook but they are fuzzy.  When I update my phone, will ensure it has more pixels for camera !  Yes, there was joking around as well..Michael appeared to be loving the interaction, a lot of laughter, giggles, 'that grin' and smiles.

Michael is so much more than a handsome, extremely sexy and talented performer.  He is a man of conviction, a loving Dad, doting Grandfather, very humorous, hardworking man who brings much happiness to others with his talents, both on stage and off.

He, more than any other 'artist' I have seen the past 35-40 yrs has my respect, admiration and love for what he does.

I should have written down the songs he sang; but my gaze was transfixed and trying to take pics without flash...

Does anyone know who MB's booking agent is ?

Hey Pamela,

Thanks for the great review....and I hope you enjoy your trip on MB's Cloud:)! Ain't it grand??? LOL!

Mary (meg's mom)!

Hi again Pam, in the past few reviews that were posted here, fans have reported that the encore has been either “Georgia” or “Lean on me”. We certainly don’t blame you being into “la la land”: here we call it the “Bolton cloud”... :D  Michael’s duet partner’s name is Amanda Brown. Girl, can’t blame you getting teary-eyed during”The prayer”, my moment is usually during “Nessun dorma”, but sometimes, it just feels so good to hear Michael live again that we can’t help it... Funny you mentioning about your phone taking bad pictures and I’m surprised we don’t have  a thread about taking better pictures with various cameras or phones. Sometimes I wonder if it’s the movement that some phones don’t capture well...  I was asking about the interaction, because it always makes it a more fun show when the audience is more responsive and Michael loves his lively audience! Pam, there’s really no need to write the songs down if you’re trying to enjoy a concert, but maybe if you have time, go back and read a few back pages of this thread, to see if it jogs your memory. I searched for booking info on this site, but only found our moderator gail’s E-mail, but out of curiosity, I Googled  “Michael Bolton booking agent” and came across this link:

...and there’s this one for corporate events:

...but there’s a mess of sites out there. I hope that helps. Well anyway, thanks again for sharing Pam, much appreciated, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

I was at the Newark show on Monday (sixth concert in past two years), and this was the best one yet.   The audience was enthusiastic and lively, the band was on fire and Michael sounded and looked great.     His platform to sing WAMLAW was four people away from me at the end of my row, and I still didn't get a good photo with my new iPhone.   But I had a awesome time and great memories.

As I remember it, the set list was the same as the one listed a few pages back, with the following exceptions:

* The opening (pre-recorded?) stanza of Go The Distance started the show, but the first real song was Soul Provider.

* Michael did not do Nessun Dorma (the only clue that he was taking it easy).

* Encore was Georgia.     He nailed it, and every other song.

Time. Love and Tenderness sounded like it had a different mix than normal.  Michael's voice blended more with the backup singers and band than it usually does.  Song still sounded great, but did not  exactly match the album version which may explain the negative review from Buffalo.

It was a great concert.   Well worth cleaning snow off the car to attend.

Thanks for review Ellen Therese and glad to hear you enjoyed show and had super seats for WAMLAW.  A lot of tweets agreed entirely with you that it was a great show....no one can be on top form every darn day and wish some reviewers would think of that before they open their mouths, but.....unfortunately !!! lol

Thanks again for taking time to come in !!! :)

Hi Ellen and thanks for coming in with your review. Sorry to hear about your pictures, but it sounds like it was memorable enough that you won’t need pictures! :D  Thanks a lot for the precision about the setlist and good for you getting “Soul provider”. The important thing is that all had a good time. Take care Ellen and thanks again. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Welcome Pamela and thanks for coming in to share your fun night with MB!! So glad you got a great seat and enjoyed the show. So what songs did he sing? Anything different than what we have been sharing here? Just curious. Any particular moment that stands out from the show?

I am glad he's ok too, the Lancaster show will be worth the wait in June.

Feel free to come back and post anything else you want to share.

Thanks so much for coming in with your review Pamela and so glad you had a wonderful concert.  Also so pleased you got good seats and can well understand MB not wanting to meet too many people for bad enough in a theatre atmosphere for picking up bugs let alone in a possible closed room atmosphere where anything could be floating about....he has to take care of those vocal chords !!! :)   Thanks again so much for taking time to share with us...thanks and hope another concert isn't long in the coming for you !!! :)

Here is a picture of Michael and Drew McKeon on stage at Niagara and comes courtesy of Carla Ulin.  For Sylvie and Robin it is a super shot with a full on of Drew playing the drums and he is wearing his glasses (seldom wears them on stage, eyes must be getting worse!) and Michael is right up at drum kit but it is a back view of him with only his head turned so his face is in profile.  It is at section in show where he has on denims, vest/waistcoat, t-shirt and scarf and what a back view Michael Bolton has STILL got.....ohhhhhhhhhhh !!! lol
