WELCOME EVERYONE TO THE 2016 MB TOUR REVIEW THREAD !!

Welcome everyone to the 2016 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!!MB has some Canada and USA shows in February and March 2016 and then he heads to the UK in April 2016!!!  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2016 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!! 

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past. 

Happy Concert Time again in 2016!! Let the year long concert party begin soon!!

Hi Robin and thanks for your great review . Good for you being able to get Michael’s birthday card to him, as close to “in person” as you could. Glad to hear your mom enjoyed the show: you’re very fortunate to be able to share that with her.  I do hope some of the ladies come to share their view of the concert too, it’s been a while since they did. It’s great to hear the NJ audience made the traveling troubles worthwhile for Michael and the band. It’s really fun to hear how detailed your reviews are Robin, with all the smiles and interaction with Michael...  Thanks very much for the setlist and it must have been nice to hear “Stand by me” with Michael playing. Robin, I have to ask: what picture is on your concert mug? We never have anything but T-shirts up here, if that. Thanks for the heads up about new merchandise, by the way. Hey Sylvie, Thanks.  The concert mug is white and it has the same head shot of MB we've had for most things now like the book cover, the grin with his mouth closed, looking straight at the camera and a black shirt with the collar open. And on the back of the mug it says The Soul of It All. It's from when the book came out, nothing new yet.

Hi Sally,  from what I heard on TV, there were a lot of problems with air travel altogether, in and out of Canada and the U.S. East Coast. Good to hear Michael is starting to try out the new songs. Thank you ladies for the fun reviews. Robin I enjoyed reading the moment your mom had after The Prayer and so glad you were able to get there with her safely too. MB and band and crew made the best of the weather dilemma too and glad the show was such fun for everyone. So sad to hear that Kelly is leaving too.....but maybe she will return again hopefully :).

Thanks ladies. I know I tend to write alot! Sorry if I was rambling a bit there.  I am glad you enjoyed reading the reviews.

Hope to have photos up later tonight or tomorrow.  I see some of the girls have some great ones up on Facebook already.

MB and gang rocked it.  He was on Twitter a little while ago and did Like one of my tweets thanking him with a few pics I put on there.

Hi Robin, thank you for such a great review of the concert and your 'adventure' getting there. It sounds like a fab evening was had by one and all, especially your mum. Just goes to show MB caters for everyone. Will check out your photos in the gallery.

Sadly I am unable to get to any of the UK dates, unlike my sister who is off to The Albert Hall gig, lucky thing. So hearing your excitement and enjoyment brings the concert to life.  Hope you have now recovered from the journey and can look back with pleasure.

Glad to hear Joe getting merchandise sorted out for UK...... thanks Sally!!! :)   Looks as though if new backing singer hired that Amanda has definitely left and wonder if will get to hear anything about new girl after show, on 4th, in Biloxi.  Pity Kelly has left but of course she did officially leave a while ago and new she wasn't coming to UK.....will miss her for thoroughly enjoyed seeing, meeting and hearing on last tour in UK in 2014 but suppose, everything keeps changing, the way of the world !!! :)

Glad Robin your mum/mom had such a super time and hope plenty more shows pop up that she can get to.

Michael mentioned during the during the show that Kelly left for a bit to work on a project and let her talk about her charity. Joy asked Kelly if the replacement would be Amanda and she said it was someone new.

Thanks Sylvia. Mom is good for her age so far and is able to get around and still enjoy things with me like that. I am glad she can go and want to take her as long as she likes to go and can go.  She's been to 11 shows now since 1998. She first met MB at his book signing in 1997 for Secret of the Lost Kingdom in NYC and he was so sweet talking to her that day.. I took her  to a record signing in 2003 with me too.  She enjoys going and doing different things. LOL MB was wonderful with her backstage in 2011.  Where did those 5 years go, yikes. She's proud of her personally signed 8 x 10 of her pic with him too, let me tell you. It's hanging in the living room. LOL  Quite a conversation piece in their house.  She has fun and that's the main thing.  I am glad I can still take her to things you all are right on that. She's always loved music and used to get concert tickets for shows in our local Baltimore area when I was a child so I guess that's where I get it from. LOL

Oh! Robin MD, I LOVED your reviews as always. So sorry about the bad weather for all of you at first but glad you made it ok getting there. I'm glad you & your mom enjoyed the show, of course. Neat the glances, smiles you both got from Michael & awesome he got your birthday card for his birthday. Neat how your mom has met MB at different events & I do remember the ALW 6/15/03 so neat meeting her then. Loved it that he did "Stand By Me" there. I remember once @ an MBC gala in 2009, he did that song. Wow! Thanks ever again for your review & if I forgot anything to comment on, I'm truly sorry. :)
