Welcome everyone to the 2016 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!!MB has some Canada and USA shows in February and March 2016 and then he heads to the UK in April 2016!!!  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2016 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Happy Concert Time again in 2016!! Let the year long concert party begin soon!!

OMG Ozlem, so good to read you on here! I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed the show and I fully agree it would be the best if Michael sang the medley of some of his best loved songs himself. From what I hear, Michael does sing “Georgia” mostly as an encore now.  I love this song, but Michael has only sung it on half the concerts I’ve attended. Are you going to RAH sweetie? In any case, it’s really great to read you on here Ozlem, I hope you’re doing well. Take good care and thanks for sharing. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

A pre concert wee, wee story which proves, once again, I do have an angel sitting on my shoulder for there is absolutely no way this could have happened without some form of intervention.  I know I'm sounding crack pots, or maybe I should say, more crack pots than usual, but wait till you hear the story and then you can give me your views on how something like this could have happened.

As you all know I'm in Cardiff for tonight's show.  Another beautiful day here and decided to get out kind of early and go for walk and going past shops spotted hairdressers and thought will I, won't I, oh to hang go in.  Got my hair shaped at sides and got blow dried and curled and love it so much so that, when I get back home, I'm getting, what I've been thinking about for a while, a perm.  Then decided to go up to theatre and get a bite of lunch at out door cafe they have right in front of theatre where it is great to just sit and watch the world go by.  Had lunch and was sitting finishing off coke and making final decision on how I was going to do something I wanted to do before show.  Today is Drew McKeon's birthday and I had bought him card and, from Scotland, a tartan shaped fedora hat and I was going to go into theatre and ask if they would make sure it got to him.  Gathering up my stuff to pop in the bins provided and looks up, before I stood up and who is walking past but DREW McKeon ..... call that a coincidence if you want but I have no faith in those !!!!!! LOL  Needless to say, I quickly dumped my rubbish, grabbed bag and took off after him and I mean took off for he was walking that darn quick I had to run.  Wished him a Happy Birthday and told him what I had been on point of doing and gave him his card but I didn't even have hat in bag I had bought to leave it at theatre in so I just handed it to him and he was "WOW, check it out !!!" and he promptly stuck it on his head.

We had a "wee" conversation and Drew confirmed. exactly what concert in Bristol confirmed, Michael is on TOP FORM and back, 100%. Just to add, I didn't ask, Drew volunteered the info and as soon as he said I said that was pretty obvious from Bristol show which was phenomenal.

NOW, how's that for a "Bolton Adventure" story ..... does that one cut the mustard ????????? LOL

Hey Sylvia, great story! I'm sure Kathy R would be proud of you! lol Thanks a lot for sharing and hi-5 to your angel! XD Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Hi Sylvia I'm gutted I missed Michael at Cardiff bay. We are down there once a week walking the dog and my son lives overlooking the water on the other side. I think we would have recognised him even with the hat and sunglasses!

My oh my....certainly was meant to be as your angel was working overtime Sylvia!! How cute to buy a tartan hat!! Brilliant!! WONDERFUL Bolton adventure indeed :))))) You are on a roll !! Keep it up!!

Some pics from Cardiff st davids hall Michael was AWESOME! And after reading that other review that wasn't very complimentary I can assure you he is back on form. Yes he did go off stage as per usual and let the band play two songs and Sam fly did sing on her own for about five mins that's all. And she has a beautiful voice. Especially when she duetted, their voices matched beautifully. Had a blast

Hi Jan, thanks so much for posting, great pic of the the line up. I love trying to catch those too at the end of the shows. Sounds like you had a very good time.  So glad to hear MB is back and in great form!!

Robin in MD :)

I may have overlooked but OZ. Thanks ever so much for our review. Hope you have more shows to look forward to.

Hi Jan and thanks for sharing your review. I'm glad  you had a great time, but is there anything particular you can tell us about the show? For instance, how was the audience, did he sing your favorite song, did you have great seats, did you go by yourself and was anyone able to go to the stage? Sylvia mentioned in a previous show, Michael sang "Love is a wonderful thing", which he hadn't sung in years: any luck at your show? It's fun to have details for those who don't have  concerts in the near future, so you're welcome to share anything you feel like. Take good care Jan and thanks again. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Hi Sylvie I went with my hubby Mike this is the about the 7th time in Cardiff we've seen Michael. Fab seats four rows from the stage. Gabrielle was great sounded really good. The audience were a little quiet mainly older a few in the front were joking with Michael which he liked! Started with to love somebody we had you don't know me that's life, sweet home Chicago duet of how am I, ain't no mountain and the prayer. When a man( in the audience) how can we be lovers, said I loved you, we didn't get love is a wonderful thing or any new songs no. Encore was steel bars. We got to the stage in fact me and a fab lady who was sat next to me were up like a shot as soon as they moved the steps so we were right at his feet. Someone shouted asked him if he was better and he replied yes I am now. It was the drummers birthday and we all sang happy birthday. I would have loved to hear love is a wonderful thing as my fist live concert years ago he opened with that we were all up dancing on the first song. It's a shame the crowd were a little subdued at times we need to get rocking Cardiff! He had a few changes if clothes came on in jeans and a jacket which he did remove to some whistles! He said it wasn't that sort if show! He then changed into a dark grey suit, then came back in jeans jacket scarf. The band was the usual lineup. Great to see JP I love him. Right that's it I am defo off to bed!!!
