Welcome everyone to the 2016 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!!MB has some Canada and USA shows in February and March 2016 and then he heads to the UK in April 2016!!!  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2016 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Happy Concert Time again in 2016!! Let the year long concert party begin soon!!

Was at Newcastle last night and while MB didn't disappoint there were a few in the crowd who chose to heckle MB the whole show shouting daft things and generally spoiling the atmosphere (well for me).  One woman shouted from the balcony "Michael I have paid good money to hear you sing but cant because the  drums are so loud" so not necessary I thought  and poor Drew.  I did do the meet and greet which was lovely and brilliant to finally meet MB but it was over in a flash.

Sorry this sounds rather down cast it wasn't just a small few tainted the memories.

Oh Lynne sorry to hear things were somewhat spoiled for you and not easy to get over, or forget, that either but I do hope, in time, you can and only remember the wonderful evening YOU spent with Michael.   Everywhere in life you meet idiots and rude people but thank goodness they are in the minority and believe Michael will have met plenty and knows exactly how to respond to them.....IGNORE !!!   Michael only bothers with his true fans and he knows exactly who they are.  I did see a tweet in reference to the drums drowning out Michael and a pity if that did happen but Michael is exceptionally on top of every sound on that stage, no matter where it is coming from, and if he hears he gets it adjusted immediately so maybe the woman's own hearing was too acute for the beat of the drums.  Have to just add, don't know why she complained so much because our Drew plays a mighty fine tune on those drums and wouldn't mind hearing him having a wee solo spot...we now have Nelson with his wonderful solo and dance (which is superb) so might just get Drew. one day....hopefully !!! lol

Thanks again for review Lynne, thanks !!! :)

Thank you Sylvia I just cant understand some people but like you say unfortunately they are everywhere lol.  I did speak to Drew after the show and said what she shouted didn't reflect what the rest of us thought and he was so kind and said "thanks that means a lot" bless.

Hi Lynne and thanks for your review: good to hear Michael didn’t disappoint!  Sorry to hear about the misguided few who dampened your evening though. Now back to the good part, what did you love about the show? Did you hear a favorite you hadn’t heard in a while? What about your M&G: would you say that Michael looking and smiling at you directly was worth the wait? :D Other fans were asking whether there were a lot of fans at the M&G’s: were  there in Newcastle? As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, it’s fun to witness what made each person’s experience special. Well anyway, thanks again for sharing Lynne, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Hi there

MB did sing one of my total favourity songs "You don't know me"  that makes me just swoon.  There was about 20 people at the M&G I must admit I did find it a bit embarrassing standing having your photographs taken while others looked on but hey in the end love my photo and had MB's arm around my waist what more can a girl ask for.  xxxx

Ooops forgot my photo

Thanks Lin. Love your review. I'm glad you got to go to the M&G. You treasure every second.Neat you got to hold him like have his arm around your waist. Now. How cool is that, Lin?
